This place does bad business. They claimed I dented the car trying to charge me 2k. They can't provide photos of the dent. After I told them I have a video of the car after I dropped it off they stopped communicating with me. I had to wait 45 mins when I had an appointment. Do not go here! read more

Called the Enterprise Rent-A-Car "local" number to rent a vehicle today. The representative promised us that the vehicle we wanted to reserve WAS ABSOLUTELY available at the Gig Harbor WA location to pick up this afternoon. He took all personal information to rent the vehicle. Well, guess what! About one minute after ending that call, the "local" Enterprise location called us. They have NO VEHiCLES available for rent all week. She admitted Enterprise Rental Agents you speak with haven't a clue what's available and lie to get information. So, the first Enterprise Rent A Car agent just lied to me to get personal information. If a business lies to customer to get personal information, they have no ethics & poor business management, IMO. Agent at Gig Harbor location suggested we look around at much farther locations since they have Zip, Nada, Nothing to rent all week...after we supposedly have a reservation. Guess it's their switch & bait reservation policy. Actually sad to see a once great business now not caring about customers. read more

Excellent experience at the Gig Harbor Enterprise Rent-A-Car! We needed a van that could stow the seats to create cargo space for our trip from Gig Harbor, WA to Wickenburg, AZ. Spoke with Jason. He went above and beyond to accommodate our request. The van was clean inside and out. No issues driving 20+ hours to our destination. Worst ever. I'm screwed because these dummies waited until 4:38 pm the day before my scheduled rental to tell me that my reservation (for the next day at opening time!) couldn't be honored. Now I have to scramble to get something together. Their customer service is terrible. Their incompetence is costing me, big time. I will NEVER use this branch, ever again. I'm considering having my witchy cousin put a hex on these fools. J. was FANTASTIC -- he helped us get a car we need, drove to pick us up, and worked with (fought with) our insurance to get the bill covered under uninsured motorist coverage. This is a small "neighborhood" Enterprise that we like to use when visiting family in Gig Harbor. It's located in a mini-mall next door to The Inn at Gig Harbor, where we like to stay. Their rental car service is excellent. Advance vehicle reservations are a must. Their range of available vehicles can be limited at times; they depend on having vehicles brought in from another location. read more

Our family needed a rental after our car was totaled in an accident, so my husband called the Gig Harbor Enterprise and asked if they had a vehicle big enough for our family of 6. The gal said yes. We got our entire family to Enterprise only to discover they *did not* have a vehicle for us...but we watched as a mini van from their parking lot drove away with only two passengers inside. If you need a car, especially a large one, from this location, good luck. You might have the same experience we did. UPDATED: Despite our initial disappointment and frustration with getting a rental for our family, the guy working that night made some quick calls and within 35 minutes he had a vehicle for us. Booked a reservation the night before and they called the next morning to let us know the truck we wanted to rent was not available. When they called us they said they had so many people wanting to renting a truck and there weren't any available until 5 days later. We were not given any options or try to help us out in any ways. I don't understand how we are able to book something that is not able to actually rent. read more

I meant to write sooner after our trip... better late than never: Another excellent experience at Gig Harbor with Branch Manager Mikaila Hayes. Our free upgrade that was offered at the time through Enterprise + was quick and easy to apply. Mikaila got us in and out on the road in just over ten minutes. So convenient. On a side note, I've discovered that it helps to be part of Enterprise + when making reservations. Not only do you save money with every paid rental, and you can receive emails for deals, but all necessary rental information is in the system. I had to have my vehicle fixed for about a week, so Enterprise rented me my first vehicle, which ended up having issues (overheating) light. I reside in Olympia, which is far from Gig Harbor.  I filled up this huge full size vehicle, which had about a 1/4 tank, and it cost me $86.09.  After contacting Gig Harbor Enterprise, I expressed my concern that the vehicle was overheating.  Immediately, the manager checked to make sure I was in a safe vehicle. As a result, she contacted other locations and found one in Olympia Enterprise.  The only vehicle left for replacement was filthy, and staff told me their vacuum wasn't very good.  Before issuing a vehicle to a customer, you'd think it would be thoroughly cleaned.  It didn't happen, I cleaned the vehicle myself once I got home.  Olympia Enterprise waived the full tank when I was experiencing problems to return the replacement vehicle to an empty state. Upon encountering the first vehicle that had problems, I requested a refund on the gas I had put in it.  I spent about 86.09 on gas.  I was told by the manager that my credit card would be credited once I brought back the current vehicle.  I did tell her I filled up that tank as well, but upon returning home my own vehicle had to stay in the shop for one more day because there was something wrong, so they had to fix it.  The vehicle ended up being used another day.  The next day, I picked up my vehicle and returned the rental.  Apparently, because I returned the vehicle with only an empty 1/4 tank, they are not able to refund the requested amount.  The company should acknowledge that a vehicle with issues would be fully inspected, or even fully inspected to make sure it has no problems and ok to drive after being given to a customer. In addition, you would consider the fact that I have a disabled child and have to go to a separate location to pick up the replacement vehicle which was filthy. Honestly, I find this to be a lot of bullshit and very upsetting.  The manager told me that since everything was closed out, she could not issue me a refund, but would give me a percent off on my next rental.  Such a story would come as no surprise to me.  I never received my gas refund. Words are twisted so that a customer thinks they are being helped, but in fact the end result is a loss.  This $86.09 loss is theirs to shove up their own rear ends.  It is my hope that karma will strike hard at them.  I'm really upset about this. I doubt I'll be using the percent off I received. read more

I have rented vehicles from here multiple times and have been very pleased. The office staff each time were friendly and very helpful. The car was always spotlessly clean and ready for me on time. Visiting family have had an equally pleasant experience. Enterprise in Gig Harbor is great. read more

I booked a car on 9-7-2021 to pick me up at 8:00 at Les Swab in Gig Harbor while my car was in the shop on 9-9-2021. At 7:30 am on 9-9-2021 Enterprise called to say it didn't get ordered and wouldn't be there until 12:00. I was already almost at Les Swab. I ended up stranded with an 8 year old child who hadn't had breakfast, ( we were planning on getting after we got car), had no way to get to school and had nothing to entertain her for 4 hours. I was able to get an uber and we took her to school. The school was nice enough to save her some breakfast. My 90 year old neighbor took me to pick up my car later. All the representative had to say was " sorry." I've used Enterprise across the country for years and never had a problem. I will never use this one again! read more

We booked a SUV, when we arrived a shitty face worker told us there is no more SUV, then let us wait for 30min while they "run and get us a compact car". 30 mins later, they came back telling us there is a SUV coming back. didn't say when is it coming back, then they left us all alone again. in total, we waited for more then a hr and we were so pissed that we left without a car. before we left, we asked what have we done wrong that we didn't get a car. reply was "you booked the car online during weekend, that doesn't count as reserving a car". If I reserved a car online doesn't mean I will have a car, then maybe they should say that on the web page letting people know. But I'm pretty sure that was an excuse. I've been served by this Enterprise location twice while my vehicle was being serviced/repaired. They have a good range of very clean, well cared for, practically new cars and their customer service is first-rate. When I first got there, I had to take a great big SUV, but the next day when smaller cars had been returned and cleaned up, one of their staff brought me a sedan and traded it for the SUV. They will not only pick you up at home, but when I returned the car, I got a ride home! (Doesn't always happen because it has to be a slow enough time for them to have a driver available.) I don't know how their rates compare because mine were provided by insurance, but I'm sure they are competitive. If I ever need to rent a car or help a friend or guest rent one, this is the place I'd use. I just read some other reviews so I'm adding this remark. I suppose they might get backed-up right after the airporter arrives, but I've never seen long lines when I've been at the Inn. It is certainly not the fault of the employees if there is a problem with car availability and I'm sorry to see the rudeness and insults in some of the reviews posted here. Linda Spadoni read more

I was very happy with the whole experience. Very busy location but the car was great and the staff very helpful. Be aware and ask when the best times for picking up and dropping off are. When I dropped off the car I forgot I had my son's walker in the trunk. They were closed when I remembered and we flew out before they reopened. I was in a tricky situation but jared solved it and saved the day for me and the two girls who work there made me laugh and so many little funny things happened while i was there that we kept laughing about! Worst experience ever! I made the reservation through Hotwire. Had confirmation. Then took a taxi w/ two year old in tow. For them to tell me they needed extra info. So I had to take another taxi to and from my work and home to pick up. Costing me an extra 100$ then going back the second time they shut the office down to take an hr long lunch at least two employees, so I had to turn around and go back again cuz I wasn't able to just sit there w a two yr old for an hr. They just didn't care. Then they call while on my way back and tell me they can't give me my reservation, and will have to go to another office. More taxi and toll monies wasted. And at the other office found out they could've helped me w/o having me waste my time money and energy. They're jerks! They had no compassion whatsoever. I recently used this Enterprise location and was not at all happy with the way I was treated by the agent I spoke with after I received my final bill. I explained EVERYTHING to this individual several times and they simply could not comprehend the basic info I gave them. I told them that my girlfriend (gave her /agent the full name) had rented a car that was paid for by another insurance agency and I had used my credit card to purchase additional insurance. She repetitively looked for my name (after I gave her my girlfriends name ) and could not find me in the system. About 10 minutes later she finally looks up my girlfriends name?? That was the 1st thing I told her.. clearly. She actually was rude to me and I could tell she was about to get nasty in a professional way (yes they do that) I told her NO, you are NOT going to make me out to be rude, you're not doing it because you cant do your job (my thoughts) Once again I told her the entire story.. I had to spell my name out 5 or 6 times (no exaggeration, finally spelled it phonetically) then she made fun of my name when she found it in the Burien office records calling me Bezchacha... which is nothing like my name. FINNALY she looked up my girlfriends name. I rarely post on yelp unless I'm really pleased with the service I receive. This woman has issues, and Ive never been treated like that from anyone in Enterprise! read more

My car was dirty with lots of stains on the upholstery. When I went in to cancel the supplemental insurance(which is totally unnecessary and expensive; not needed if you have regular auto insurance) I was assured that I was taken care of and then hit with a HUGE bill. It took weeks of almost daily phone calls to get my credit card refunded for the charges. Since there are no other car rental places close to Gig Harbor I will probably have to use them some time in the future but I would definitely NOT recommend them. The manager was distracted and uncaring when I spoke with him and I felt pressured to buy the supplemental policy, which is where the company makes it money(almost $30/day!) SO don't sign up for it; I wish they had told me that the cost would not be reimbursed by the insurance company. I felt that it was a necessity to buy it and have had to pay every cent myself. read more
