I never drove the car either week, just paid for it. He stated that the previous weeks rental I was given a "freebie" on the additional driver. I told him that was confusing and he agreed, but did not refund me or offer me a credit. Overall a very confusing and poor experience particularly regarding one person paying for a rental for someone else to drive. I would've rented another car from them this weekend and possibly the next depending on how the car search goes, but I will now be going elsewhere. The owner was also not the most friendly guy I've met in a customer service orientated business. Be careful what you sign and read the fine print!

And while doing the paperworks her brows are still meeting up and won't even smile or talk. We can tell that she is just in the perfect ruined mood. Really awful service we had from her. When we returned the car after two weeks, this other woman is the opposite vibes from the first that we encountered. Totally the friendliest and the kindest. Even greeted us upon entering their office. Most of all she was very grateful for returning the car neat and spotless from the first time it was given to us. We got the Prius car and the car did a good job throughout the trip. Saved a lot of gasoline which is so expensive at that time. Will surely consider this hybrid car renting the next time we juander. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! Rental pick up reservation was 4pm on a Friday. They had given the vehicle I…read morereserved (an SUV) to someone else. My options were: pay extra for an upgraded vehicle, wait for them to clean another vehicle (they close at 5pm and had sent the cleaner home at 4pm), or take a less expensive vehicle (basic 4 door) with no refund/discount. Fine. I rented the 4 door. It was a tin can but whatever. Gas gauge was at 3/4 tank, and I returned the rental after fueling to 3/4 a tank. I just looked at my emailed receipt. They charged me an additional $23 for refueling!! I called Hertz to complain and request refund. Their process to debate a refuel charge, requires you to email your gas receipt to a specific email address. They have a whole "press XX for refuel dispute". WHAT A RACKET!
