They closed my reservation as if I picked up my car so when I called headquarters, headquarters couldn't help because the reservation was opened then closed meaning my reservation was cancelled and I didnt have an existing reservation for them to assist with. This location is shady and unethical. You are better off going somewhere else. Honestly, Avis should shut down this location and Costco should remove them as a car rental option. Several hours were made woth corporate office that this location would honor a Full size SUV. Morning to pickup they called and cant or lets say wont honor it. Put us in a full size vehicle. Vehicle was dirthy inside with stains on the roof. The agent was trying to help us and get us in a better car. But unfortunately her mgr was not going to do that...and basically gave us this sh*ttest car they had to take to TN as we were doing a one way. They just came and took my car. The day after Thanksgiving. I need a lawyer please advise. It's been a while since I have given more details regarding this matter. However, Enterprises is now saying the money order given to them in May of 2019. That they cashed. They sent me a check for that amount. I cashed it. They are fat liars. I told them send me a copy of the check. Why would I not pay for a car being purchased from them to the financial institution to keep my car. Knowing I have 27 miles to get to work. I believe they ran a credit check without informing me, even though the corporate information states this is solely done if paying with a debit card. My car was totaled (not Hertz's fault, I know), State Farm says they use Hertz and says where to go--awesome, only 3 or 4 miles away--they set up the reservation and everything. Go to the location--THEY'RE CLOSED! At 10am on a Saturday. I call Hertz, after 20 minutes with their stupid voice system, I finally get a live person who informs me that yes, that location is NOT open on Saturday, but that I can drive 45 minutes further away and to the Hanover, PA location and get a car. So, not only do I waste gas because I have to drive it from PA back home, but time with 2 sick kids so that I can get a freaking rental car. Only nice thing: The employee was very nice and the car was clean, but that was the Hanover, PA location, not Westminster.
