Chicken Tenders
Matt K.

Something about ski resort chicken tenders & fries that just hits different I will definitely order the same next time On the side, I enjoyed the resort as well. Overall clean, helpful staff throughout, and soft snow

Grew up going here so it brings back memories for me. It has really changed since I was young, mostly in a good way. Some of the enhancements are a court yard with tables if you want to bring your own food or rest, outside drinking/dining in multiple areas, a quick service type area just inside the door of the resort. They offer tubing now and have additional parking. I recently had my son do ski school and the instructor Mike was amazing. The slopes are well groomed though the weather hasn't cooperated the past few years. It is a great place to visit!

i stay in Washington DC and driving here is only 1.5 hrs not bad compare to colorado when i stay in texas. To begin my review just full disclosure this is only my own opinion folks. I snowboard multiple times a year having a epicpass holder give me that perks. Compare to Vail, Breckenridge, Keystone this resort is no where close to them. Although they are better than Snow creek in kansas it's kinda upgrade and on a good day of or snow days Liberty mountain can be a decent ski area here in PA. I actually like it here better than White tail resort in Mercersburg, but that just my opinion so pls don't judge lol. Try to visit multiple ski resort and u can compare their difference.

My family drove 2 hours from Virginia to here, and it's well worth the drive. This ski resort is a hidden gem behind those corn farms. We arrived at about 1pm. The next private lesson is at 2pm so the kids played in the snow for the first hour. The girl and the boy behind the rental counter were really good. They not only picked out the shoes and the skier for the kids, they patiently help the kids put on the shoes and the skier. Mr. Luis the ski instructor was really good also. He taught the kids how to put on and take off the ski, how to break, how to turn right and turn left and how to walk uphill. After 1 hour, he took them on the chair lift and skied down the hill. I was so excited the kids were able to ski down the hill after a one hour lesson. The kids love it.

We were a group of 5 adults and a baby, we were delighted and in love with the place, we only did snow tubing but we loved it. We went Sunday and paid every adult $33 for 2 hours for snow tubing.

Workers were polite and very helpful when asked questions. And the ambiance was fun and enjoyable ! The food was decent but the gift shop didn't have the size long sleeve I wanted which was my only disappointment. Other than that I'd recommend everyone try liberty mountain!

The lobby and front desk areas are stunning, and the firepit right outside was absolutely dreamy for evening hangouts. Our room was comfortable with cozy beds, but I was disappointed to learn that daily cleaning only happens if you call to request it--so ours was never cleaned during our stay. The pool was fun, but it closes at 8pm, which feels a little too early. It would be amazing if they extended hours to 10 or 11pm. The biggest downside was the very loud AC system. Even when we turned ours off and cracked the window, we still heard the neighboring unit running all night. It definitely made it hard to sleep. Overall, though, it's a beautiful property with a lot of charm--perfect for family gatherings and downtime between adventures.

Many years make many differences. After two ownership changes and the final acquisition by Vail…read moreCorporation Roundtop has become less of what it was these past years. The family friendliness is gone. The daycare is gone. The daytime weekly mom's on the mountain is gone. Even the plugs for crockpots are gone. Can you believe even the complimentary check-in for skis is gone It's all corporate. It's all Vail. Yes, your epic pass will work. The mountain hasn't changed. But the people and the vibe that used to make Roundtop a special place for families is nowhere to be seen. A special note to anyone from Vail, who happens to read this. There is is a family of five skiers that grew up at Roundtop because I brought them there. The mothers were able to ski during the week with the babies and toddlers. There was daycare for the babies and toddlers. There were plugs for the crockpot for the lunches downstairs. It's all gone. The only thing left is the purchase price and share value of the corporation. Where do you expect the next generation of skiers to come from?

The staff are friendly and seem safety oriented. This is a close place to travel to in the area…read morewith decent snowmaking with nice snow tubing and slopes. It was not too crowded and the guests were orderly (which is not always the case). Food is okay. I recommend getting your tickets online in advance! Keep in mind that due to the borderline temperatures the courses can get icy.

We were looking for a smaller place for a first time skier that wouldn't need many harder trails. We booked everything for the weekend online. The process was easy and made it easy and quick to get tickets and rentals that we already paid for. I think they do charge an additional fee if you didn't prepay. The first night we arrived we did the snow tubing. It was a fun time. You need to get a tube at the bottom of the hill. Then there is a belt you stand on that will bring you to the top. You pay for and hour and a half that seems like a long time but it went quick because it was fun. We did a snowboarding lesson in the am and then spent some time skiing. We rented a board and changed to skis and it was a $15 fee to change. There is a cafeteria type area to eat. I did read another review that said people just dump their bags in chairs to save them. So that is what we did. We saved half a table for us then shared the other half. When lunch time came the tables filled up fast. Most kids would just sit in the floor if they needed. For a small mountain it was a great time. They had everything you need. We stayed at Chalet resort that was a 3 minute drive.
