On November 12, I made a reservation (confirmation code: 1388968261) for a Chrysler Pacifica or similar (van) for a total of $326.93. On November 13, I arrived at the pickup location (9831 NW 58th St, Doral, FL 33178) and the manager, Romel, informed me that they did not have the vehicle available. He even mentioned that Enterprise does this all the time--that they offer vehicles they don't actually have available just to secure the customer. Instead, he offered me a Toyota Camry (sedan) and assured me that once I arrived in Nashville, I could go to any Enterprise location and switch the car for a van. I repeatedly asked him to confirm that this was truly possible, and he promised that everything would be fine. This is where the entire nightmare began. When we arrived in Nashville, the Enterprise team at the BNA Airport told us that they were not allowed to make any vehicle changes. They even said they didn't understand why the Miami location told us that such a switch was possible. The airport staff then redirected us to another Enterprise location at 3500 Charlotte Ave, but once we arrived, we received the exact same response--they could not switch the vehicle, and they didn't understand why Miami provided that information. Since it was the high-demand week prior to Thanksgiving, there were no SUVs or vans available anywhere. We called the Miami manager, and he simply told us there was nothing he could do, and that he could offer a full refund for the reservation and "take care of the hotels." We were supposed to return to Miami in a van on Monday the 16th and drop it off on the 17th, but because of this situation, we were left with no solution at all. We felt scammed. Nashville's Enterprise advised us to cancel the Miami contract so we could get a refund and rent a new vehicle, while the Miami location insisted there was nothing they could do. We practically lost our entire trip, had to extend our stay three more nights, paid additional hotel and food costs, and had no one who could resolve the situation. In the end, we had to rent a van from Sixt at the airport, paying an overpriced last-minute rate, and return to Miami that way. Once back in Miami, we went to the Doral Enterprise store, spoke to the same manager, and after apologizing, he said he would "ask" if he could issue a refund. Nothing happened. We called almost every day asking for him, and his colleague repeatedly told us, "He's busy, he can't get to the phone, he will call you back." He never did. Honestly, this was an embarrassing and extremely frustrating situation. As I mentioned, we truly felt scammed and I lost significant time and money because of this. I kindly request that this case be escalated to a higher corporate representative to properly address what happened and to prevent other customers from going through the same experience. read more

I used this business with my car shop Picasso Body and at first they were great. They picked me up from the shop and were able to give me a rental the same day. I called the day before I returned the vehicle saying that I would be bringing it the next day. I had called the day of, 3 times, to make sure I'd have someone to drop me off at the body shop even though I'd be coming a bit late. Everyone I called they said it would be no issue and they'd have someone here for me. So when I arrived, like I had told them, before they closed, they refused to take me to the body shop, even though it had been confirmed 3 times over. Let me tell you a story about how this company likes to charge you more money as a way of making-it-up-to-you, after they lie to you about a reservation. Today I reserved a car for 3:30pm and later called their 1-800 number to advise them I needed to be picked up at my office, which is about two miles away. The representative at the call center said I was all set but advised I call the local office for good measure. When I did, the representative there told me that it wasn't a problem but that it'd have to wait until after 4:30pm because they didn't have enough cars. Guess what? It was a lie. When the clock struck 6:15pm and no one had come to pick me up, I called the local office only to get a recording saying they were now closed. They left me high and dry without a car or a phone call. When I called the 1-800 national to complain they had the audacity to tell me they could make it up to me by making me pick up a car at an airport location but at a higher price. Since when does a company propose up-charging a customer for a mistake they made? Shame on Enterprise. read more

I showed up to pick up my SUV on time. I was told by Claudia (manager) that no SUVs are available and she only had sedans, which wasn't going to work. She said that she'd check other locations and get back to me in 30 minutes. I waited over two hours and called the branch. Someone picked up, I asked to speak to Claudia and told what the call was about. I was then put on hold and after a few minutes was hung up on. Called back and after over 10 minutes of waiting the call dropped. I live near the branch so I drove to the branch before it closed at 6 to speak to Claudia. At that point she told me that there wasn't anything she could do. Instead of telling me there would be no SUV available from the beginning and let me try to rectify the situation while I had time, she led me to believe that an SUV would become available. Had I not showed up at the branch, I doubt that she'd have the courtesy to call and notify me. While on the way to the branch I called Enterprise customer service, and the best they could do is tell me that there MAY be a car available at a branch nearby; that I could book with them and that I'd have to pay the last minute rate. There was no attempt to honor the rate, call the branch to confirm availability, nothing. I had a similar experience with Budget when the desired car wasn't available. Only their rep worked it out with a different branch to honor the rate paid. I was supposed to be on the road and instead I was stuck scrambling and trying to find a last minute rental. Not to mention having to wait 1-2 business cycles for my credit card company to refund the points I used to make a reservation. Very disappointed with my experience at Enterprise and will do my best to stay away from the company and its helpless customer service. After posting a review on Google I was asked to provide feedback to care@enterprise.com Once I did, another manager from the same branch called and acknowledged that the situation should've been handled differently. Basically, providing additional feedback is pointless and a waste of time. Save yourself unnecessary headache and go with Avis or Budget, never had such issues with them. read more

He had assured me that he would take this issue up with the branch and offered to compensate for my experience. For this reason I am boosting the score and updating this review. The employee had arrived to open the store closer to 9:30AM with a dozen irate customers outside waiting and wondering what the situation is. Representative opened the store with a foul, uncaring, and unhelpful attitude and snapped at customers looking for their rental cars. We were informed that there were no vehicles at this location. How can this be possible? You are a car rental company. Excuses for your lack-of-inventory aside, there is no excuse for this employee to have such an attitude with customers that are expecting a reserved service. After about 50 minutes, I was able to secure another rental over the phone (not with the present employee) at an Enterprise location half hour away. Eventually, we arrived and picked up a vehicle. During this ordeal we had lost nearly two hours of time between waiting, traveling to another branch, returning to my home to pick up my family, fueling the vehicle (which was given to me 1/2 tank), and then eventually hitting the road. My family and I were on a tight schedule for the day. Granted, we had planned a leisurely day-trip, however I am sure there were other customers at this location this morning with more urgent needs; i.e., business, making it to the airport on time, needing a vehicle to visit a sick relative, who knows? My point at this end is that regardless of what a customer's intent is with a vehicle, doesn't matter. What matters (especially to me) is that if I have an appointment, or a reservation, and if I fulfill my end, I expect what is due to me. Enterprise, specifically this branch and this employee, breached a contract with me and let me down. I value my time immensely, and I value my family even more. This experience was unacceptable and it does not matter if I never hear back from this 'family business', I will continue to share my experience here and urge people to take their business elsewhere. I have reached out to customer service and spoke with the escalations department regarding my experiences. There are other outlying details I am not including here, however I am expecting a call from an area manager. I have never seen a 'family business' operate in such a fashion with such blatant disrespect towards customers. Until we could be provided with the desired SUV, she rented us a car of our choice. I waited for a vehicle in this location for over an hour. They did not have any vehicles available so they reached out to another location and took me to the location in Coral Gables to finally give me a car. The car was only inspected on the outside and that's why they did not notice that there was something off with the brakes of the car they handed to me which was also handed to me with only half a tank full. I only knew there was something wrong with the car because I called and gave the car back the next day. Then they gave me another car. Then when I come back to return the second car they gave me, I am charged an $107 fee because there was dog hair in the back of the car. The only reason there was hair in the car was because my puppy had an emergency and I had to take him to the vet. Keep in my mind I did not have plans to rent a car I was only forced to do so because my car was involved in an accident because another car ran a stop sign and the insurance picked this location to rent me a car. I tried to explain this to them but I was still charged with the $107 fee. I will not complain about the employees because I know these are stressful and difficult times but I do wish the situation was handled differently considering I was given a car that was unsafe for anyone to drive. read more

I find this branch of Enterprise aren't-A-Car truly terrific. It's very small as it serves a specific area in Doral and the staff mirrors that friendly, warm feeling. They courteous, always focusing on customer service. I go there often so they know my name and always greet me with the friendliest attitude. Waiting is sometimes inevitable, depending on the time of day but who cares, it's part of seeking service. The manager, David sets the tone and Andy is amazing at taking care of customers. The manager has a very bad treatment with the costumers, she did not find a solution for my problem while I was waiting there for about 3-4 hours and at the end you end up leaving without a car. While the treatment from this Venezuelan worker was totally different he was very nice and tried to help me at his best of his ability. I had to cancel the reservation after spending the entire morning driving to 5 different locations to find the car (or similar) that I had rented weeks ahead. The customer service everywhere was pretty mediocre, we called and they told us they had the car and the moment we got to the location they no longer had it. Enterprise literally rub their hands and sent us away, wasting our time. Terrible!!!! I got in to a car accident and I had to rent the car through them. Since I had to work my husband (Which we are both on the Policy) went to pick up the car Well the car is in a very bad condition it is unsafe to drive that car I don't even know why they even let them rent that car I called them and I asked them if I could go and change the car the girl who answered the phone said yes of course just come by the office and we will give you another car. after I drove there on a Saturday the same girl told me she couldn't do it that my husband had to go because he was the one who signed the contract. when my husband was renting the car the same girl told him I was going to be in the contract too. Aweful!!! Turned in my rental car over 2 months ago. I needed a rental car and only could go through enterprise per my insurance. When I was returning my car I also paid (on the spot) my toll fees that I had accumulated while having their car...totally understand. Now 2 months later my cc is still getting charged on multiple occasions, separate toll fees. Enterprise stated toll by plate is a longer process. I already paid my tolls from this car when I returned it. But they stated that if u travel on certain roads ie main freeways like the 826. It's toll by plate. Heated!!! I was about to change my cc #, thinking identity fraud. Anyways it would of been nice to know that u still might get money taken out ur cc 2 months later OR if they told me that if I travel on "blank", "blank", and "blank" roads you will not pay ur tolls when returning car, instead they toll by plate which takes a couple months!! So everybody make sure you always have $$ in ur account long after you think the enterprise experience is over!! Everytime I have rented with enterprise it is ALWAYS the biggest fiasco!!! I always stated to myself I will never ever rent with them bc the bulls**t, hassle, and misrepresentation they put their customers thro, but I had no option renting from enterprise this time bc my insurance only goes through them. No wonder enterprise is ALWAYS looking for college graduates for their manager training program. LOL. The training program must be aweful!!! Obv rules and regulations that u should tell the customer, they don't..unless that's how they train managers.."don't disclose all the small print to the customer, let's screw them n have them figure it out for themselves!!" College graduates are smart (like myself!!), therefore once they find out that this is not a reputable company that puts their customers first, instead of their money and cars, they quit! Shadyness all around. I hope they shred my documents listing my cc # so I don't get more charges or that it gets into the wrong hands. I'm conclusion...search for a rental car company. I am extremely disappointed at this company. What they have done to us is really disrespectful. On October 11, 2020, we booked a car to go on vacation through Travelocity. We have a confirmation email, today at 10:30 AM our car was going to be ready for us. They even charged $90 for collision damage insurance. Today, when we went to pick up our car at enterprise (location 9831 NW. 58th St., Doral, FL 33178),they informed us that they don't have that car available. They said that they tried calling us but there was no phone number on file. Yes, the phone number is on file ( I triple checked and it was there). Then their excuse was that Travelocity is a third-party and that was out of their hands. My question for them was: what I'm going to do now ? We are leaving today on vacation? I trusted you guys. I don't know who's fault it was. (Travelocity or Enterprise) The only thing that I know is that today I have a family vacation that we are trying to enjoy and no way to get there, so what I'm going to do now? Just lose my money because you guys don't know how to do your job ? Hello, I want you to know the type of service Enterprise at this location is providing to customers who have several choices to select to rent a vehicle here in the US but decided to go with them for the service they promise but did not fulfill. The website is advertising pick up service to clients and clean/good condition vehicles, none were provided at the time of renting the vehicle. When Manager was told about it, he was rude and replied that the pick-up service is free and as courtesy, and I should not be expecting to be served and the cleanliness on the vehicles was not an option because it was the only vehicle available and not time to clean the vehicle. I got pictures to prove the dirty conditions the vehicle was given. I was forced to rent it anyways because I have to take my trip immediately and I did not have time to find another rental car agency. My lesson learned is that I will never, ever and ever again rent with Enterprise. Thanks. read more

I rented a car about 2 days in advance for a last minute trip. I arrived about 15 minutes prior to my requested 12:00 PM pick up time. When it was my turn to be helped, I was informed that the rental car place had no rental cars...my frustration was evident! So the agent offered to drive me to another location when they had cars. However, I had a 1:00 meeting back at work, so I told them I would come back after work. I returned at 4:30 PM and the car I was given was dirty and smelled of smoke. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because I was given a 10% discount because of the smell. Unfortunately, the rental was for a 11 hour drive with my 5 year old son to pick up my 4 year old son and bring him home for Spring Break. The smell never dissipated. Made for a miserable ride. The headlights on the vehicle were also pointed at the ground which made the drive dangerous at night. read more

They are nice but service isn't great. Trying their pick up service for the first time right now and already have waited 15 minutes. Guess I'll uber next time.
