I get it. Lots of people traveling during the holidays. But the wait time in line was ridiculous even by busy holiday standards. AND, the self-serve check in kiosks were all "out of service". They had to make announcements to everyone in line, that they would not be able to accommodate anyone walking up trying to reserve a car, and that they would only honor the existing reservations previously booked. We had an existing reservation for an intermediate car -- and they said they didn't have that available. So we could either wait until someone else turned in an intermediate car (which they could not guarantee when that time would be), or to downgrade to a compact and they could not adjust for the price difference. read more

Unfortunately they get 1 star for a dumb business model. A $24 "service charge" for being tolled by plate is a cute nickel and dime tactic. This is the most disorganized rental company with the rudest, disrespectful employees I've ever dealt with. They do not care if you have a reservation and had me waiting 2 1/2 hours. To make things worse i was promised an associate would pick me up from my location and didn't. I waited an hour outside, then decided to leave. The driver finally contacted me and by than I had already ordered an Uber to take me back to enterprise. The associate then confronted me in the lobby and began pointing in my face and yelling how he left to pick me up. Was getting my car serviced with Carmax and the warranty covered a rental with Enterprise. Was picked up from the dealership and brought to Enterprise with their shuttle. Once arrived, Romel helped and got me situated with the rental. Phenomenal customer experience and quality service from Romel. Car was clean and in great condition. Made the reservation for Friday 8/28... didn't have the vehicle type I requested, had to ask for them to double check for something comparable. The website says they can offer rides if the distance is close, asked for one BEFORE I left with the rental, when I returned it they told me they were "short staffed" and couldn't do it. I counted 5 different employees doing different things. Giving an extra star because the car I used was good on gas. This location needs more staff, more cars, and overall readjustments. Stop giving people excuses. read more

I am a current enterprise customer and have a service animal. The airport location told me to come to any other store to make an update to my drivers on my account so I came to this store. Upon entering I was told that my service animal was not allowed in the store. This is in direct violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The gentleman that told me this had short dark hair. Please Enterprise train your employees better so I am able to have the same freedoms others have. Shame on you. read more

Early last week I wrote a review regarding my bad experience with Enterprise. As you can see I got a response and I was asked to send all my rental information by email so I did. I got a lovely email right away and I was told the store manager would call me. Here I am, 7 days later and still waiting for that manager to call me back and I never got my full refund. Good morning to whom it may concern,  I am in utter disbelief and filled with disappointment with how my car rental experience has been transpired.  I rented a car through Enterprise with my insurance Progressive. I rented the car, July 17th, 2023. The customer service at this store was terrible. I arrived at the store at around 5:20 pm - 5:30 pm, closing is at 6 pm. The A/C was broken. There were only 2 box fans pointing toward the employees. The thermostat was 83 degrees. It was just as hot inside of the store as it was outside. We live in Miami, it is painful and hot during the summer. Not only that but I had to wait for the car till 7:20 pm. Almost 2 hours waiting for me to receive the car. Once I received the car, the car was very very used and old. There are ants in the car, it is disgusting.  A few weeks later, I noticed a charge on my card for $909. I didn't understand why I was charged. My insurance is supposed to cover the entirety of the rental. I called the store and they told me they were going to refund me only $791 due to taxes. it is very disrespectful that not only I have not heard from the rental store but I wasn't notified as to this charge in my account. I should've received a phone call letting me know of the ongoing situation. When I called the store, they told me it was because my insurance adjuster wasn't answering. How am I at fault? I should've been notified to see if I could've gotten in contact with my adjuster. I understand that there is a protocol but again I should've been notified. Additionally, I called my insurance on various occasions in regards to being charged the taxes. They let me know that the taxes should've been covered. The lady who I spoke to at the store told me some nonsense. She mentioned that my insurance didn't cover it and I was going to have to pay the acuclumarted taxes out of pocket. I have the car rented for 4 weeks, that'll be over $200-$300 in taxes. But my insurance said that Enterprise knows of my insurance policy and they should've given me a car within my budget. Enterprise gave me an runned down Toyota RAV4. I never asked for an SUV, I never agreed to pay the difference in cars nor the taxes. This was the company's mistake. I have called over and over again and they tell me the same thing. "A manager will reach out to me." A manager has not reached out to me. If you value your time and clear communication steer away from this place. We were asked if we were ok with getting a van because of limited availability. We agreed and sat down. There were two other people waiting ahead of us. I'm not sure what the deal is but it appears as if every delearship in the area funnels their clients here. Then after a twenty minute wait I asked where's the car. I was told it was probably getting washed. 15 minutes later we were given a car that reeks of cigarettes and the rep breezed through options regarding insurance and gas requirements. It seems like everyone is complaining about the same issue, so you'd hope they would learn how to fix it. After getting in an accident, I had my insurance company make a rental reservation at this particular Enterprise because it was around the corner from my repair shop. After Enterprise called a couple of times to confirm (one time at 7:30 am, which is a little extreme), I trusted the process would be easy. I told them what day/time I would be coming to pick up my car and followed through. Once I checked in, they let me know that cars were on their way from Homestead (what?!) and that myself (along with six other people) would have to wait until they arrived. I waited about 20 minutes and was offered a minivan, unless I wanted to wait another two hours for more cars. I couldn't have cared less about the "cool factor," but was a little nervous to drive such a big car. I didn't want to wait, so took it (and the Capri Sun garbage that had been wedged in between the driver seat and console). Thankfully, my repairs only took a couple of days, so I could get rid of that minivan quickly! I will say that the people actually working there were super friendly and they picked me up and delivered me back to my repair shop in a timely manner. If only that kind of service could carry over to when it comes to actually getting the car you reserved at the time you reserve it for. read more

I rented a car for five days while my car was being repaired. Geico, another great company, set it up for me. Christian was very helpful and professional. The car was comparable to the one I drive, and it was very clean and in great condition and looked almost new. Christian picked me up from the body shop and they returned me back to the shop. I walked in just out of curiosity and get a price on a one way one day rental. Jorge serviced us - he was very kind and helpful. I've used enterprise many times in many different states and I have to admit that he was the best person I've ever dealt with compared to any location. Do not go to this location! I would give zero stars if I could. I got into an accident and my insurance company partners with Enterprise for rental cars. My husband had previously rented at this location so he recommended to go there and help me with the transaction. The so-called branch manager Norman Flores was extremely rude from the get-go. My husband who held our 9 months old had asked him if anything else than the teeny tiny options that were presented are available. Everyone with a baby knows you need a lot of space. During previous visits they have been really accommodating when it came to upgrades but this wasn't the case with Mr. Flores. He just seemed annoyed and bothered and tried to upcharge a lot for cars that weren't even much better than the previous options. Once my husband settled on a car, the "manager" mumbled: "well, I tried to help you" to which my husband responded in a very calm voice "well I wish you would have been a little more accommodating." Then - shockingly - the manager told him he's not going to rent to him at all and kicked him out! With a baby!!! I'm shocked because we have never been treated so poorly! I used to work in customer service and I understand that sometimes you have to deal with such terrible customers that that can easily put you in a bad mood for the rest of the day! But this was unacceptable! This individual shouldn't work with customers with such a nasty attitude. It's beyond me why Enterprise would let someone put someone like that in a leading role. My car was ready a pretty small one, even though my insurance was covering for $30 per day and they had bigger cars available. I returned the car 2 days later because my back was killing me in that small feel everything rental, missing maybe 2 gallons I was okay to be charged at $4.46 per gallon ( the price is 2.09) and even to over charged by by paying for 4-5 gallons, but no they charged for 10 gallons $44.60 and they can't find my final invoice and the manager is too busy to answer or call back read more

Like everyone else mentioned this place has poor planning/ management. They managed to pick me up on time but when i arrived i had to wait for the vehicle to be cleaned. Proper management would have the car pre-cleaned prior to the car arriving. Here i am for almost an hour and a half. Overall it looks like the front office staff is great , however the person who sits in the dark room in the back does not care about the day to day operations. She always seems to have a sour face. I have rented here 4 times and there are always swamped it's a busy location the phone ringing none stop and people constantly rotating in and out. The staff is always friendly always helpful and lets you know they will be right with you. Once you wait (typical when renting a car) they give you there undivided attention, they have a great selection of cars and the staff also offer pick up or drop!! These guys need to learn how to do their job better. I've had a a car of their for a month on and off. 1st time I was stopped by the police because these knuckleheads let the plates expire (or a least the sticker). Then yesterday I called to switch out my the car for something smaller. I I called and they confirmed it wouldn't be a problem and stated they would hold a car for me. Great? Not really. When I got there 30 minutes later and waiting in line for 30 minutes. They told me all they had were trucks? When I asked why they didn't hold it as requested, they get defensive. No effort to contact another Enterprise has been made to my knowledge, although I've been told that all other rental stores are experiencing the same wait time. Also, they refused me a car and basically told me my fake ID was of poor quality because they didn't recognize my VALID out of state license.
