I"ve been an Enterprise Plus member for years and have recently received terrible customer service which I did not expect. Having been a member for so many years, I expect the high quality of customer service that I have received throughout the years but that has drastically changed. No longer does Enterprise go the "extra mile" for its customers and they no longer offer exceptional customer service as in past years. I am very disappointed in their quick response to say "no" to the customer when asked to hold on the line while I add someone to the call and "no" to bringing the reserved car to where I am (what happened to their claim to fame: "we will pick you up"??? ) Gone are the good old days of putting the customer first... read more

i would I give this location a 6, that's how good they are Initially. They are helpful and sincerely cooperative until I returned car, OVERAGES appeared on my debit card and can't get them reversed. In my case, car insurance covered rental. But always check at this enterprise (11 st and 42 avenue, miami Andrea Archia) if she charges the actual vehicle size that you request vs. the size of vehicle that's available. LEMME explain i didnt want a big rental but that's all they had. THIS LOCATION saw okay to bill the bigger size car signed up cuz they ran out of small cars. She billed for a bigger size rental and not the smaller car rate as in her eyes Geico was footing the bill And didn't consider the overage on my debit card. They aim to maximize the geico rental allowance and if your debit card gets zapped for any overage, (manager dismisses it as not her problem and even implied she would personally reimburse the nuisance overage)! Always ask for summary of charges before return is completed to request for any adjustment. Andrea ArchiLa was uncooperative; outs calls on hold long enough that they disconnect. Stay away! Typically I just go with my #1 favorite car rental company Alamo, but this time I decided to go with Enterprise because (1) Enterprise had cheaper price for a full-size SUV and (2) Enterprise and Alamo are under the same parent company so I felt pretty confident on the level of expectations I have for the company. Visitors can connect to the MIA Rental Car Center (where Enterprise counter is located) using the MIA Mover and the MIA Mover is located on the 3rd level. Expect a lonnnnnng walk from airport terminals to the MIA Mover. Once I arrived to the Enterprise counter, I waited approximately 15 minutes and the rental process was pretty smooth once it was my turn. I booked my full-size SUV via Costco Travel with no issues and the total cost was approximately $415 for 4 days. My SUV ended up to be Nissan Armada and the car was in good condition. I didn't have any issue returning the car despite the vehicle had few light bumps/scrapes and the company charged my card exactly the same amount as the original proposed invoice. Make sure to return the car with a full tank to avoid possible extra charges on gas. *** TOLL ROADS *** You are able to drive through all toll roads in Miami and no registration is necessary, but one small hiccup was that I got three separate Enterprise toll receipts 8 days, 15 days, and 20 days after I had returned my car and the grand total for using toll roads was approximately $35. *** Overall no hiccup with my rental process - I got the exact car that I originally had booked, I got charge the right amount (not including fees from toll roads), I was able to use my own car insurance, my car was ready for toll roads in Miami (they are unavoidable if you want to save time and take the quickest route), and return process was hassle-free. read more

I went down to visit some family in Miami last month. Given that for once I flew in, I was carless and did not want to bother depending on family and friends to get around. Consequently I, for once, rented a car. This is a major milestone for me as if you know me, you know I hate driving other people's cars. Anyhow, chose Enterprise as I've had good experiences with them in the past when I've had my car in the shop and had to have a rental car to get around. No issues whatsoever. Everything was easy peasy. I filled out my paperwork online beforehand, and upon arrival, everything was already set up for me. This was a surprisingly simple transaction. Rented a car from the enterprise in south beach by soho and everything went smooth, and they were very transparent. Dropped the vehicle off in this airport location when my rental agreement ended. I left something in the vehicle came back 30-40 mins later to pick it up and they said they couldn't find the vehicle. So I did some lost and found claim. It's been 3 weeks and they say they still havnt found the item. A worker probably saw the item In the vehicle and kept it. Good rental place but don't leave anything in the vehicle cause you'll never get it back. Update To Your Reply: I've already contacted/called multiple times. And giving you guys all the information you need. I've already been told I will be contacted if the item is found. The only thing they can do is look in the computer to see if it's been found or not. The automatic messages I get from you guys says it hasn't been found. It's been 3 weeks there's not much more you guys can do unless you wanna pay for the item. In comparison to the awful experience I had with Dollar right next to Enterprise, I have to say renting a car here was a much better experience. I showed up to pick up my rental after making a reservation online. Check in was quick and I got to choose which car to rent. The car itself was nice and clean, had an extra pack of sanitizing wipes in the car, and it ran smoothly, unlike the one from Dollar where I spent that leg of the trip praying we won't be stranded. Returning the car was simple enough. Though they were busy, a man was quick with checking in my car so I can be back on my way. The only complaint I have is when we're exiting the garage, I asked the young lady about using my own toll transponder, and she said Enterprise doesn't do that anymore, and we have to use theirs. That turned out to be false as it states in their pamphlet we do have the option to use our own. Other than that, I'd definitely use Enterprise again if I'm ever back in Miami read more

The trick is you start on level 4 and it drops into the ground to level 2 where you turn in for Enterprise/ Budget and Payless. Massive place. Transport to and from the airport is level 4. read more

I am a platinum member with Enterprise, I absolutely love my branch and Rich who always takes care of me in the location (Pembroke Pines, FL/Miramar). I had an issue with something completely different and had to call someone at customer care (escalation department) his name was Jay. He THE RUDEST HUMAN I have ever had to speak to. Very unprofessional, short, condescending and unhelpful. On top of that, when I called him again to help me solve a problem that he helped to cause, he told me he "didn't have time to talk to me" and hung up on me while I was still talking. Enterprise.... I am surprised you would have someone like this working for you after so many years of good customer service. Extremely disappointing! We planned to rent a US muscle car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. The employee at the counter was rude from the start. The car wasn't at the agreed-upon location but at a different hotel, and we were expected to pick it up ourselves. Due to this chaotic and unprofessional handling, we decided to cancel immediately. Customer service was awful: the employee was impolite, didn't provide a name or business card. This completely ruined our day and a special birthday surprise my wife had planned. Enterprise gave us a dented CAR We rarely rent cars, unfortunately we didn't know it was our job to inspect for damages. As we a older couple, the enterprise agent placed our luggage in the trunk. 90 minutes later, we noticed a small dent on the right bumper. We immediately called and reported the problem and we're told not to worry. We returned the car, 8 days later, the manager told us the film tapes would prove the damage was preexisting. Then 6 weeks later, we received a bill for the damage. No one from Enterprise will listen to us. I have name of whom was notified and date and picture of when damage was noticed. HORRIBLE customer service. We have had contacted Enterprise MANY times and nobody (even care@enterprise.com) will assist us. I would give this place zero stars if I could. Buyer beware! Their word means absolutely nothing. I booked a car, confirmed that I would be coming at 1 o'clock, but when I got there, they told me I had a one-hour wait. What's worse, even after an hour, I would only be able to get a pickup truck, when I had, in fact, booked a compact car. Neither the guy at the desk nor the manager seemed to care a whit that I had been promised a car, had taken an Uber to their station, and was left high and dry. This, despite the fact that my husband and I told them we had a business appointment to keep. I called the main number at Enterprise to complain, and the woman who picked up repeated three different times that the area manager will definitely call me. I'm still waiting.... We had a terribly frustrating experience today with this location. We reserved an SUV and when we arrived they did not have our vehicle, but offered a "complimentary upgrade" to a different one. We loaded all of our luggage-6 oversized bags plus carry-ons and proceeded to the exit. When we got to the exit they told us that the vehicle we were in needed to go to the service department because it was being sold and we needed to back up and go back to the garage to get a new one. When we went back they didn't apologize or offer to help us reload. It was not busy at all, so if they had apologized or just thanked us for our patience it would have gone a long way. This was a disappointing experience overall. read more

Taking Ubers around Miami was getting expensive so it seemed like a better idea to rent a car. I called and reserved a car for 2 hours later. Once we arrived at the counter, we were immediately directed downstairs to the lot where we were greeted. The associate who assisted us was looking to up-sell us into a convertible. He didn't seem as friendly once we declined. He didn't stick around to answer any questions, which I kind of expected for him to do. We had the car for a little over 24 hours. I have rented many places before and have not had many complaints with Enterprise until today. I work for a government agency and Enterprise gives us a discount and knows because this is government business not to add extra charges such as insurance, gas etc to our bill. This is where complaint comes in. I used toll road which are all cashless now in Miami and got charged 24.75 for service fee when my tolls itself came out to 24.28. So the service fee was more than toll itself. Working for government agency again we are not allowed to add extras such as fast pass to vehicles so what am I supposed to do. I will send this bill to the government and maybe they will reimburse me but I will definitely say this is very dishonest practice and rental companies should not be doing this. Will not rent again from this enterprise and will definitely be wary of taking any toll roads in future. read more

I have full cover insurance. They did not accept my insurance and the information about the insurance they accepted was not online. They FORCED us to pay around $500 dollars additionalto the amountwe already paied. The manager never came out to speakwith us. The people working at the counter, did not care or wanted to help. If we decide to not pay and cancel the reservations, we would forfeit $300 dollars per reservation. (we had 2 vehicles). I will never rent from this company again. Incredibly disappointed with the condition (smell) of the car I received, and even more disappointed with how Christie, the Regional Manager, handled my complaint when she called to follow up on my survey. As a former ERAC employee I understand how difficult it can be to make sure every car is perfect, particularly at a busy location like an airport. That was not my expectation, and it's not unreasonable to expect a decent car either for the amount of money I was spending. This rental was beyond ok or acceptable. The car was clearly over-sanitized and wreaked like a bag of fertilizer. I've rented several cars since COVID and the sanitized smell usually goes away after an hour or so. NOT THIS ONE! I woke up the next day and the smell was still there. I called the airport to see what they could do, but was I could not exchange the vehicle for something less odorous in the city I drove to without incurring a massive "drop-fee" so I had to keep the vehicle for a week. The smell lasted all week, and when I returned, the gentleman checking me only offered an, "oh really" and asked for the keys. I wasn't expecting a big apology but a small amount of courtesy would have went a long way with me. Again, being a former ERACr I get it. I got the obligatory follow up call from Christie today and her approach is what spurred this review. Her solution was conditional on my returning to Miami soon, and when she realized I wasn't coming back anytime soon she cut our call short. Not a good look at all. Not happy! read more

I am a top tier member with Enterprise, I rent frequently but last night put a very bad taste in my mouth with this company. Flew in for a funeral and Went to pick up my rental from the Miami airport when a fire alarm went off and I was in line along with two other people but yet I arrived before them and the manager said we can only help the other 2 people and not me which made me very upset. I tried to tell her i was there first and so did the other worker but she refused to help me and then said i was disqualified for a rental. During the fire alarm her and her crew were talking about me inappropriately and VERY UNPROFESSIONALLY as if i was supposed to be scared of her. After the fire alarm i asked if i can get my points back for my rental and the employee rolled her eyes at me and was ignoring me and the manager MO said to call customer service and to get away from her counter. Even the security guard that was talking to me said that they were out of line. Enterprise needs to watch out who represents them because this was such a horrible experience! read more

Our recent experience with Enterprise was frustrating and extremely unprofessional. Our terrible experience started when checking in at the front counter at the Miami Airport. The lady who checked us was rude. She did not say much to us and expected us to know the information needed to check in. Her shortness and overall demeaner was unprofessional.   Next, we go down the elevator to pick up our vehicle. My wife and I were told that it would be 20 minutes for our vehicle to cleaned and ready, but we waited for about 40 minutes. While waiting we spoke with another couple who had been there for 2 and a half hours. Enterprise should not be overbooking vehicles as it should never take this long to pick up a car.   A few hours later we noticed that the front and back windows of our Convertible Mustang did not close completely. There was about an inch gap between the front and rear windows. We spoke with a lady over the phone with Enterprise who troubleshooted the problem with us. She was not able to resolve the issue so let us know that we could swap out our Mustang for another.   The next day, I called Enterprise to speak with Junior. He told us that a Convertible Mustang would be ready for pickup at 1:30pm at the Sunny Isles location. He assured me that it would be ready to go at 1:30pm. My wife and I arrived at 1:40pm and went inside the store. We were met with an extremely rude associate, named John. We politely explained the situation, but his response was very sarcastic and unprofessional. John asked us who we spoke to and we told him Junior. He then asked the associate (believe his name was David?) next to him what his name was in a sarcastic tone. Instead of apologizing that we got the run-around, he sarcastically said that he needs Mustangs and would be happy to take it in exchange for a Mini-Van.   At this point we were fed up with Enterprise's unprofessionalism and having received the run-around. We decided to keep the broken Mustang since we waisted hours on our vacation trying to resolve this issue. My wife and I will never rent another vehicle from Enterprise again and will make sure everyone knows about the awful experience we had. read more

SCAM. They try so hard to scam for every penny you have. Gave us a false estimate number on the phone. Gave me a quote of $338 and when I went to pick up the car, they told me it would be $486. HUGE difference. I asked why and they were not able to give a reason why. Then, when I returned the car, with the same amount of gas as when I received it, they tried to charge me another $50 for gas, even though I opted for the option where I fill it to the amount when it was received, which I did, almost to a tee. I had to fight to get my $50 back, which was such a time waste and hassle. Go to ANY other car rental place besides this one, and save your time and money. UPDATE: Contacted Enterprise via email and still NO resolution. ALSO, They lied to me over the phone prior to renting. Super disappointing and frustrating. Spend your money elsewhere, any other rental company would be better than this. The staff i talked to over the phone prior to renting lied and gave me a false estimate, which was $150 off of what I actually paid. Are they incompetent or just liars? read more
