    You remember that "Seinfeld" episode: "You know how to take the reservation. You just don't know how to *hold* the reservation..." Well on October 27th, that was me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7uvttu8ct0 ...And believe me. I was not as polite as Mr. Seinfeld. But despite being irritated, I told the kind gentleman Cedric that I know it wasn't his fault. Enterprise Rent-A-Car has this AWFUL annoying reservation practice to where even though you make an online reservation - with your credit card AND receive a confirmation code - if you don't get there within a certain time frame, they can give away your vehicle. Which they did. To make matters worse, the assistant manager named Bryce was impolite. "Well, ma'am, you should have gotten here at noon." So here's where they could have fixed the situation: -Given me whatever vehicle they had on site, even though if it meant a complimentary upgrade. -Manager hold back on the 'tude. But no ... instead they drove me 15 minutes out of the way to their other location along 1960 (a total cluster F) to get another car. I was already running late on my trip to Austin for work, so that pissed me off even more. Again, Cedric was cool. He said if his manager wasn't there, he would have had no problem upgrading me. (And don't worry. I'm not snitching on the fella. He's now at military boot camp. Hey, we had a good convo on the way to get my car.) I have to say, I now HATE renting cars from Enterprise out in the burbs (I've rented from the one off 529 and another off Hwy 6 and Clay). They all suck. They should certainly take some lessons in customer service from the Downtown location. There, they always upgrade me for free. They're super kind - and funny. And, they don't require you to bring back the car within 24 hours. By the end of the day on your last day's rental is fine.

    I have been on hd for 45 minutes with someone coming on and immediately saying hold, click. Beyond the worst ever.

    I always have a positive experience with this location and the two female managers. I feel for them dealing with people who are upset.

    I've been renting from this place for 3 months now. I have to go to Dallas twice a month. Book the…read morerentals out months in advance. I have had 3 cancellations due to no car availability. The cars are always. I mean always dirty or lacking windshield wiper fluid. I won't even get on the wait. 8:30 reservation not leaving until 10 am with vehicle. They recently got a new manager. I've had very minimal interaction with him. I somehow had a refuel charge on a rental and I always put my own gas and he went it upon return and removed it. Perry always displays, professional, interpersonal skills, and dealing with customers. There have been very rude customers (totally understandable frustration) and he responded respectfully. What I would like to offer as I shouldn't have to wait an hour to two hours every time I come to get a rental. Try looking at all of your reservation the day before before you close and have cars cleaned and prepared especially for your early morning reservation. At 8:30 in the morning, I should not have to wait for you to clean a car or drive a dirty car because I am on a time schedule. There's usually only one person always working, so they can never provide pick up service which something hurts does and they did not offer to send an Uber to pick me up. So I had to spend an additional $15 just to get to the rental car place and then wait another hour before getting a rental.

It's loads better and more convenient if you're flying in but also that convenience comes at a steep cost with all the extra taxes and fees when you rent from the airport. Also, the shuttle bus is annoying. At any rate; when I rent with my own ducats, I go to the local store closest to the crib to save the funds. Customer service is hit or miss. The car you get is hit or miss, whether you can get a pick up/drop off ride is hit or miss. You definitely can't get one on Saturdays. Their hours suck plus not open on Sundays. Always have to return the car on Saturday when my flight is early Monday or late Sunday, otherwise; the drop off fee to the airport is wild. I've had a little back and forth with CS once or twice but not lately. Also, rarely the car is filled up like at the airport so half the time, I'm returning the car with more gas than I was given. Chileeeee I'm starting to talk myself into paying that extra $150 at IAH LOL but nah, I'm too frugal

The person who waited on me said, well, we have vehicles avaiable but to get your discount, you will have to arrange the rental on line. So I sat on the seating in the office and proceeded to make an on line reservation. The online service said no vehicles available, which I knew there was. I relayed this to the employee working the desk, and she said, nothing I can do about that. Offered absolutely no help at all and could care less if I rented a vehicle. I walked out, went home and signed on to Enterprise on line and within minutes had a car reserved at a lower rate than Avis. When I went to ENTERPRISE to pick the vehicle up, it was quite a different experience. The ENTERPRISE representative was professional, unlike AVIS. I was in and out in a matter of minutes. We will never ever rent for AVIS again. Enterprise is leagues above AVIS. Glad to have had the option to elect ENTERPRISE!

    I had the worst experience from the manager Michelle in my life I've ever had an experience that…read morebad ,I had to call the cops to report her I am currently in the midst of getting camera footage because when I first went in the store, I was stood there for 10 minutes and I set a timer on this lady was next-door shopping. She claims she was shopping for the restroom. She had four bags or five bags as a manager You should not have a job and that was nothing compared to the type of service she gave me she was very disrespectful. We exchanged words because she didn't know her job, I kept asking her if she's going to reimburse the gas money because she made us go fill the tank up after my aunt already prepaid, Michelle the so-called unprofessional manager even made a young boy, followed me to the gas station to tell me that I don't need to put gas anymore, but he was too late because I had already put gas so when I went back inside the store asking her if we were gonna get refunded, she decided to yell and say I already did it. Prior to that I was trying to show her a picture of the gas that it was barely anything that was left for the car to be on full ,I was just trying to show her if I still need to fill it up and she goes who's next behind the line which I didn't understand because me and my aunt were still standing right in the front, so why are you screaming? Can I help the next person you're not done with us so I later found out that she was the manager that's actually very sad and I would complain every day and go up there every day till I don't see her there anymore. I will be up there tomorrow with the police to collect the camera footage just know the day you disrespected me was the day you know not to ever disrespect a customer because I will take it the furthest legally she needs to understand they're people that hate rude managers more than anything and I'm one of them.
