Seven hundred dollars is an absolutely absurd price, and there has to be a better way of dealing with that. Companies like Safelite exist for these exact moments--tiny chips can be fixed up and not be an issue any longer. There is not a NEED to go through the dealership and get an entire new, special windshield put in and charge a family $700. Especially for something that isn't caused by neglect or recklesness. There is no way to prevent an accident like a rock, and no need to charge SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS to fix that. Absurd.

Knowing that I was going to file a claim with my insurance company for the loss, I informed a manager at drop off what happened just in case my insurance company asked if I had informed them. This manager was so nice. He said I should enter a lost and found ticket with enterprise so that I could give my insurance company proof that I informed them. The branch also called me later saying that they were pulling out the center console and seats to see if they could find it for me! Unfortunately, the car design probably made the ring fall further down, but the effort of this team went above and beyond my expectations. I encourage you to support this business if you need a rental car at MKE airport.

This Milwaukee Airport location gave me a car that was 300+ miles overdue for service. There was a mechanical problem and the only solution was for me to call a tow truck and get an Uber to where I needed to go. To add insult to injury, after dealing with this, they wanted me to drive the car back to the airport to have the oil changed! The service rep then told me to compensate me, he would extend the Rental for 3 days, to make up for the 3 days I could not use it. What he did NOT DISCLOSE, was that there was an additional $225.00 charge! Since they had my credit card, they just added it to my bill, despite my disagreement! Stay away from this Alamo/Enterprise location!

But the customer service is weak, and they have some odd restrictive policies. This is the only place that charges extra for a spouse to drive (enough to raise the rate above Enterprise, usually the next lowest), and when you rent they are merciless in trying to bully you into the extra insurance coverage you most certainly don't need if you use a major credit card (which they require) and already have your own car insurance. Because of their low prices, I've rented a few times, the counter help has never been very friendly, and they can only really handle one customer at a time.

The only selection you have to choose from is a color assortment of Impalas, Malibus, and Cruze's; all of which do not have heated seats, sun roofs, and some cars don't even have a back up camera. If you want an all wheel drive, you have to pay extra, if you want even a Hyundai, you pay extra. I'd totally enjoy this place more if they allow more diverse rental cars for Emerald Club members, similar to the selection you can get if you rent from Ohare.

There are plenty of computers and NEVER enough staff. I see others have had the same issue. Why ask what time our flight gets in if you don't staff accordingly? I understand your rates are generally lower than many other companies, however that's your issue when you don't have enough support staff. I am 75 years old and cannot stand (in line) that long. I feel sorry for the lone Budget agent who is tasked with checking in this line of eager-to-get-out-of-the airport people. The average time to process the transaction is 6-9 minutes. Budget, you've got some work to do!
