I've worked with both Mike and Hanna in the past--and again just this past week over the Christmas holiday--and they continue to be outstanding. Even during the busy holiday season, when things can get stressful and some customers can be difficult, they remain patient, accommodating, and genuinely helpful. They take the time to make sure everything goes smoothly and do their best to resolve any issues that come up. While other rental companies in the area were overbooking and even canceling reservations (which is crazy), Mike took great care of my rental and made sure everything was handled properly. Because of that, we were very happy campers/roadtrippers! Happy Holidays, guys, and thank you for the consistently great service!

Website indicated there were many (compact, mid-, full- ...) available. When I showed up, Manager Andrew told me "Yeah, we don't have any cars". Airlines also over-sell their capacity, but when they are oversold, they are obligated to compensate you ("$400 to take the next flight"). This unfortunate site has an unsustainable business model. Hopefully, they will be removed from Kayak and Google Maps soon. If you would like to gamble on being stranded, then reserve a car here.

I arrived around 4:30 PM, and instead of trying to accommodate me, the manager rudely told me I was late and said he would have to put me in a different vehicle that would cost me more. I've rented cars from plenty of agencies and have never experienced this kind of treatment. I understand that I was late, but there was no reason to speak to me the way he did or immediately try to charge me more rather than simply explaining my options. Things then escalated into an argument, and he proceeded to kick me out of the location. His behavior was extremely aggressive and intimidating, to the point where I genuinely felt threatened and concerned that he might reach for a firearm. Management needs to seriously investigate this incident. Someone who behaves this aggressively toward customers should not be managing a rental location

The facility is nice and clean. I had the pleasure of working with Lou for my rental - I walked away feeling like he went above and beyond to meet all my vehicle needs as per my requirements. I was also given an upgrade with no extra charge! I will definitely be coming back the next time I need a rental. The best part for me was the fact that I am a Cali girl moved out here to Florida and I was given a car with California plates! I had a reservation, and it was a corporate rental. The rude, incompetent, miserable, and indifferent woman working the counter decided that she did not like my recently issued Florida drivers license - which also had been uploaded to the app and accepted by the Sixt platform. She informed me that it was her prerogative that my again newly issued Florida drivers license showed wear and that it was her prerogative not to rent us a car. Rather than sit there and argue with a fool, I made a reservation at a different Sixt location, showed up and picked up a car. At a lower price, so thank you for saving us a little bit of money. I will also share this rather ridiculous experience with Sixt corporate - however, I can't imagine that they will do much with it, considering that they hired these incompetent individuals in the first place! Sixt, you really should do better!!!!!!!!!!

I tried to get everything done on the phone but it was a hassle and a chore to do so. After wasting a good 20 minutes on hold and going back and forth with an inept clerk, I was told to call the airport location directly to make my requested changes. Even with a reduced amount of people renting cars, Avis PBI didn't pick up the phone a single time and I called 3 times. I then had the idea to drive down to the Yamato branch in Boca Raton in order to speak with someone directly. Surprisingly, these guys were absolutely outstanding. They changed my reservation quickly ans even didn't some insider tricks which got me extra days for less money. I have no idea how this worked but that's what haokened! I was on my way within 5 minutes and I left very happily. Why isn't all Avis customer service this good?

When we walked in the guy at the desk had an attitude ( obviously not meant to be in the people service business). I'm usually friendly in situations like this but refrained from any unnecessary conversation. They tried to charge us for the navigation and the extra driver. After insisting that it was in my reservation they ended up not charging extra for the nav (only because it's built in the car), but they did add the extra driver. We ended up paying $40 more than the reservation. Unfortunately booking through Expedia I only had the reservation with total dollar amount without the breakdown of what was included. They said we had half a tank of gas but the car was on empty! I NEVER picked up a rental car with an empty gas tank. We had suitcases which they never offered to help with, the car was parked over a drain with a stream of soap water so WE had to move the car just to get in. Just an unfriendly situation which in today's world puts a business out of business. I will not use National again nevermind this specific location, the company lost my business for good.
