Absolutely the worst experience. Rented a truck for a cross country trip. They provided us with a truck with bald tires.. bad alignment.. horrible AC.. (worked like a fan from the dollar store) & dirty interior to just top it off. We would have not taken it but they closed right after picking it up so we had no other choice.. read more

Outstanding experience at this branch! The staff are super helpful and kind, the selection is excellent, and when available free upgrades! I was able to get upgraded to a full size car on the weekend for no charge! There is a $200 deposit upon rental and that hold will fall off within 3 days. The cars are new, clean, and run well! We have rented cars through enterprise for years, but never will again. We were never told that we had to use a credit card when booking or during confirmation and had recently rented a car without one with no issues. We were only told upon arrival even though we booked 2 weeks ahead. We no longer use credit cards due to all the fees. I had a $900 allowance from insurance for a rental while my car is having body work done for two weeks. Enterprise managed to run through most of my allowance in a week on two different cars that didn't work. I ended up going to Avis and renting a Toyota Forerunner (paying out of pocket now) for $235 for a week. Ugh! read more

We rented a car while my wife's vehicle was in the bodyshop for repairs. I have many years experience renting cars while traveling on business, my wife doesn't. I was out of town when my wife picked up her rental, if I had been there I would not have allowed this to happen: 1.) Exterior of the vehicle was dirty 2.) Interior had, what appears to be, pet hairs on the seats 3.) 1/2 tank of fuel. The Enterprise associate said he would "note the 1/2 tank and said she could return it with a 1/2 tank. We had no idea when her vehicle would be ready from the body shop so how would she gauge her fuel level when the call came to pick her vehicle up? I returned it with 3/4 tank of fuel. 4.) The vehicle wreaked of cigarette smoke. When I returned the vehicle I explained all of the above to the person checking the vehicle in. His response was not sincere ("This is not the experience we expect you to have"). He offered a rental discount and/or free rental days. A week later none of this happened. I did complete a brief survey and requested to be contacted by a manager. Based on our experience I feel the rental location should have been proactive and reached out because they truly cared about our negative experience and not because of the request of a survey. Regardless, the manager did call and did offer a discount on future rentals, which I declined because we don't rent cars any longer. The manager was genuine and sincere, which I appreciated. Had she not followed up with me this rating would have been 1 star. In the unlikely event we require a rental car it won't be Enterprise. read more

Unfortunately we had the absolutely worst experience with the Bend, OR location. I reserved at 15 passager van through Priceline for a 12 Noon pickup. I confirmed the reservation over the phone with a person in the Bend, OR office 2 days prior to the pickup. We drove 2 hours to pick up the vehicle and arrived at 12:10. We walked up to the front door, it was locked. The woman inside proceeded to stare at us while she walked around the office on her cell phone for 5 minutes. She came out and told us she was sorry but they were closed, and there was nothing she could do. Yes, we were 10 minutes late. But why does enterprise allow pick ups to be scheduled at the exact time they close? Why did the person I confirmed the reservation with not simply tell me they lock their doors at 12? It would have been a very simple thing to call and confirm that we were picking up the vehicle or not. read more

Returned from a trip to Ireland in late May. After dropping off rental at Dublin Airport, undamaged with full tank I was told everything checked out and receipt and rental deposit ($260) would be sent to me ASAP. Returned home and neither was sent. Over the past 6 weeks i've spoken with 7 Enterprise Customer Service reps, over 7 seperate phone calls including the place where we picked up car. Was told each time deposit credit was on it's way to my credit card. It is now July. I even have an e-mail from Cian (Shannon Airport Enterprise Rep) who handled our pick up that "Refund was approved and will be credited shortly." That e-mail was 3 weeks ago. No credit. Latest call to Enterprise was one week ago. Quoting customer service rep. "Credit and apology phone call or E-mail coming soon" I write this review to alert potential Enterprise customers of 1. The problem 2. More importantly, how Enterprise has handled the problem. On the phone, credit promised promptly. Actual delivery of deposit non existant. I've given the company ample time to send me MY money before writing review. Looking more and more like they are keeping my security deposit. Buyer beware. read more

I've had a couple of rentals from them and every time I get the bill its always different from the agreed upon price, not to mention a 250.00 fee just to drop off at a different location. They'll give you the set of keys for a crappy car, not do a vehicle inspection, then blame you for the previous damages. I have unfortunately never had a good experience with them. read more

They need to wait for one to come back. They clean it and rent it to the next person in line. Each car takes a minimum of 30 min to turn over. And the check out process is a big joke. I have used Enterprise all over the US and had good experiences, including with the Bend location...BUT wait. Something has changed for the worse: -they are renting out dangerous vehicles #1 a Ford Focus that obviously had not been repaired. It was very difficult to steer and as a result I had a 10mph crash into a parked car. This is dangerous- the air bag came shooting out into my crotch. As a result, the airbag &defective seat defective seat belt caused one of my ribs to fracture -#2 the 2nd car immediately flashed a low tire pressure warning light, also a safety hazard. These people are risking lives! I mentioned the difficult, stiff steering of the Ford. The 'manager' just said "uh huh" in response. INSULT to injury, they charged me $2000 for 'loss of use' on that Focus. I checked call backs and this model & year have been recalled Needless to say, I am vigorously pursing this read more

I've been renting from Enterprise pretty regularly for the past 5 years. Relatively new to Bend and the Bend Enterprise... so far, so good. The staff has been friendly & professional. The reason I choose Enterprise is because they'll pick me up - and they're always on-time. The vehicles I've rented have been clean & in good condition. I don't think the Enterprise Plus program is particularly rewarding. And each summer when Enterprise raises it's prices... hate that... not even Enterprise Plus members are safe from the Summer price-gouging. It's like that everywhere though. :( read more

No inventory, just downgrades. I reserved a premium for a week and they tried to dump a mini van or a Nissan Sentra on me, woohoo! I should have just refused and gone to a different company but I kept a minivan for 2 days and when I returned it after attempting to trade it in for a premium car) they wouldn't charge the prorated rate, instead charging me 'regular rates'. On top of that, the power was out too much of the town so getting gas was near impossible and they charged me $4.95 a gallon for 10 gallons of gas after saying they would work with me on that. Our car broke down so we had to rent one to get back home. They gave us a PT Cruiser - an interesting car to drive (and first time I had driven this model). They also allowed us to drop the car off at the Medford office at no extra charge - normally it would have been quite expensive. Normally they would not have, but they had a surplus of vehicles. Rental cost per day was more than at the Budget Car and Truck Rental [http://www.yelp.com/biz/budget-car-and-truck-rental-bend], but the insurance was less here. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pre-rental phase was more convoluted and time-consuming than at the Budget place. They'll pick you up if you're somewhere within Bend and want to go to their office to rent a vehicle. read more

Used the Bend Enterprise and it's been an overall great experience. I booked the car 12 hours in advance setting a pick-up time and when I got there they were having the car and paperwork ready so I could get out of there as soon as possible. It was VERY helpful as I was already late to a meeting. There was plenty of sales representatives (maybe too many for the number of cars available - only 3) and a team work spirit which helped during the process. I had the car for 4 days and the second day I received a call from my sales rep (Mackenzie) asking if was everything ok and if I needed assistance with anything (car or city wise) which I thought was a great thing to do in order to make the difference since no other rental company does it. After I returned the car I got another personal note from the company thanking me for the business which again I thought it was a great way to keep the service consistent. I've used the Bend Enterprise several times over the past couple of years, mostly for business travel. I have always found them to be courteous and helpful, and when I've had a problem, they've addressed them. Probably the most common I've had are vehicles that weren't particularly cleaned well or fully gassed up, but I've had this issue with lots of rental companies. But unlike other places, Bend Enterprise makes things right every time. I've worked with Marshall quite a few times now, and he's awesome. Always cheerful, happy, and professional. More than any other employee, he really stands out. Recently after an accident left me without a vehicle, I rented a couple of vehicles over nearly a month's time. Enterprise car rental saved our family trip to Disneyland for Christmas. We had originally booked months in advance with Hertz Rental car. We needed a car large enough for 8 people plus luggage. The morning we were picking up our rental car at Hertz we learned that despite confirming our reservations multiple times, they had no car large enough for our family. Not only did they have a car that fit our family they also offered us a discount for the trouble we had with Hertz... a company they have no control over!
