    I'll preface this by saying that my real experience from pick up to drop off was pretty good. After…read moredrop off is where I had an issue. I rented from Hertz at the Detroit airport location. This location is well away from the terminal and requires shuttle service to get between the lot and terminal. My issue was as soon as the shuttle left the lot, I realized that I had left my AirPods on the drivers seat. I asked the driver if he could radio back about it and that I'd ride all the way back with him. Upon return to the lot (less than 10 minutes), the AirPods were no where to be found. I showed the attendant through my iPhone that they were there, but after 30 minutes they could not locate them. I again told them that they were just sitting on the drivers seat. They brought the car back to me, after being cleaned, and let me look, obviously no where to be found. I wanted to stay and search, but I had to catch my flight and no matter how long I stayed, I was never getting them back. They cover themselves with a sign right where you drop off stating "Hertz is no liable for lost items". Just disappointed that folks just aren't all that honest. Update: I guess my AirPods weren't lost, but taken. I kept checking the location after I got back home and they now now at an apartment not too far from the Hertz lot at DTW. From the beginning of my experience to the end it was just the worst experience I've had with any business anywhere. All Omaha and Bellevue locations are very poorly ran, dirty, and staffed with rude and uneducated employees. I hope who ever is in charge of this company would see all these bad reviews and have a serious sit down with the board to make some serious changes. I've never in my life been more sad and regret so much to pay for a service in my life.

    Not a great experience at all…read more ADVICE: Save yourself some money and cut out the middle man and go directly to Atlas Trucking or some other transport company. (Atlas Trucking is who Mr. Car Shipper used for my transport). With this contracting model they can't guarantee you a drop off or pickup date - you're at the mercy of who they contract out to actually do the work. I was moving cross country (Los Angeles, CA to Brooklyn, NY) and they were one of the two companies referred by Pods for a cross country car transport. I would I was not satisfied with the service I received. Their dispatchers on your transport work from 9:00am -5:00pm, so if you run into an issue past those hours you have to hope that the late night hotline calls you back. An issue I ran into because they pushed back my pickup window to when I was going to be out of the state, so I had a friend oversee the pick up. Despite what Mr. Car shipper tells you DON'T PUT ANYTHING IN THE CAR, even if it's in the trunk, the folks at Mr. Car Shipper said a few light boxes wouldn't be an issue. The driver that picked up the car was holding my friend for a $200 ransom through Zelle. The transporter wouldn't pick up the vehicle until they were paid - Mr. Car Shipper charged my account for the "Drivers Discretion Charge" When it comes to actually locating your vehicle when in transport, unless you pay an additional $200-ish location charge after the $2000 transport fee (of that distance) they have no idea where your car is. Each dispatcher could not tell me where the car was or when an estimated ETA would be. Each dispatcher along my journey would just forward Atlas Trucking's dispatch or even the driver personal number. Once they've charge your card they really could care less about you and your vehicles location. Then comes to the drop off window - a constant rolling schedule of late night drop offs that are confirmed and then canceled, night after night. I was supposed to receive my vehicle on a weekend when I had a free schedule and they continued to push past the weekend to weekdays. Currently I'm an hour away from my new apartment so there was so much wasted time commuting to meet to get the vehicle and then turning around and going back. Even writing this at 10:00 pm I'm still waiting for my vehicle to be delivered.

Seriously -- it's a masterclass in how to get absolutely nothing done while confidently having no idea what's going on. I purchased my car here in April. Fast forward to May 24th -- blew a tire. No big deal, right? I had the foresight to purchase a tire and wheel warranty when I bought the car. You'd think that would make this an easy process. Oh, you sweet, naïve soul. Enter Dustin and Rick, the service manager -- and I use manager loosely, because managing anything seems wildly outside his skillset. These two couldn't find my warranty anywhere. Poof. Vanished. Like a magician's trick, except instead of applause, all you get is delays and migraines. Then, in a moment of pure, unfiltered genius, Rick tells me there's a $150 deductible and that the warranty doesn't cover cosmetic wheel damage. Only problem? He was quoting a warranty this dealership hasn't sold in over three years. Three. Years. And who had to enlighten him? Me -- after calling my salesperson and getting the real information. Because apparently, the service manager has no idea what products his own dealership sells. You truly can't make this up. And here's where it gets downright insulting. 11 days later, I still don't have my car back. Eleven. Days. Over a tire. I've watched entire homes get built faster than these clowns can fix a wheel. Their mysterious, elusive "wheel guy" comes once a week, and somehow didn't get to my car last week. Now we're into this week, and no one can confirm if the mythical wheel guy is even gracing the dealership with his presence today. Eleven days. For a tire. I cannot stress enough how wildly unacceptable and embarrassing this is for a professional dealership. Honestly, I'd have a better shot handing my keys to a 22-year-old meth head at Jiffy Lube. At least he'd have the decency to wreck it quickly instead of stringing me along for a week and a half. The fact that a service manager has no idea what his dealership sells, can't coordinate a basic tire repair, and thinks it's fine to leave a customer without their vehicle for 11 days over a flat is beyond belief. This isn't a joke. It's not exaggerated. It's just Honda Cars of Bellevue being tragically, spectacularly bad at what they do. If you like wasting your time, being lied to, and dealing with a service department that would lose a race to a snail with a limp, this is your place. Otherwise -- stay far, far away. Update: I just found out the wheel guy won't be coming in today... because of the weather. Now, before you picture some catastrophic, end-of-days scenario, let me clarify -- it's 60° and drizzling. I had to actually step outside to make sure I wasn't missing a biblical flood, an alien invasion, or a solid 30 inches of snow. Nope. Just a little drizzle and the kind of mild weather that even house cats would be fine in. We met today and he was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. They were willing to work with me to reach my desired price and it was an overall good experience. Love my new Honda HRV! I purchased my previous HRV from here after going to Superior Honda. The folks at Superior weren't friendly and unwilling to work with me so I chose Honda Bellevue. Both experiences have been great.
