And his staff were very friendly and supportive and cute. I don't rent often and needed a midsize to accommodate my height and the Malibu did nicely. Since I haven't rented, it took me a while to figure out the new gadgets, and I really enjoyed the back up mirror and being able to connect with CarPlay.. The car was in good shape except for a minor problem with the gas cover not shutting properly, but sure it gets a lot of use. The car was clean and performed well so all in all I'd say it was a very positive. I guess I could complain about the price and the seemingly large deposit but at least I got the deposit back. 5 day rental was $380 plus insurance and extras. I filled the tank before I returned it and saved a few dollars I'm sure but I wanted to say thank you in that way for allowing me to use the Malibu. Thank you Brian for the lift to my car. I appreciate you very much sir. Keep up the good work all.!

I just want to take a moment to discuss how disrespectfully Fransico and his team handled the…read moresituation at this Enterprise which occurred on November 11th. I informed the front desk staff that I was being harassed by my ex-boyfriend, and despite clearly being in danger, no one took initiative to intervene, assist, or even call for help. Whether they felt it "wasn't their place" or not, I was a single Black woman surrounded by multiple male employees, and not one person stood up for me when I was physically assaulted right in front of them. After being attacked, stripped of my glasses, and having my belongings taken, destroyed, and thrown into a field behind the building, I was left with no vehicle or support. Instead of showing any level of compassion, concern, or basic human decency, I was told that I was "bad for business," flagged from renting at their location, and possibly other locations as well. Meanwhile, his employee stood by recording and laughing while I was on my hands and knees, crying and unable to see. This is not only unacceptable, it is negligent, discriminatory, and emotionally damaging. No customer, especially a woman in distress, should ever be treated this way. Because of the severity of this incident, I do intend to pursue legal action.

It was the largest vehicle they had at the time. After trying to wait for an hour for a bigger vehicle to become available, I asked if any would be available early Friday morning. Ms. Marilyn asked me to come back at 5:00 AM, luckily I get up at 4am most days so I was used to the ungodly hour. The next morning I arrived and was put into a beautiful Ford Expedition. Thanks to my patience and Ms. Marilyn we had an amazing trip and I'll be signing up to be a Hertz Gold Member so I can be ready for my next adventure. (The lack of the fifth star is because I did have to wake up and drive to the airport a 2nd time )

The one star isn't for the service, the car, or the online reservation, but for their terrible eCommerce department. I had a car I rented to get my car repaired. Then a ice storm hit Dallas and caused me to rent another week. Well they wouldn't let me use the discount and they stuck it to me. The second week was twice as much as the first. Then when it came time to return the car, they never released the holds on my accounts. They had the nerve to blame my bank account as if my bank is the one who put the charges there. SMH. To make it worse they did multiple charges on my account. I almost overdraft like four times. It's been weeks since I returned the car and it's still on there. And after calling and asking for a manager, they blocked my number. I should have just went to enterprise. First time ever going to Hertz, and after this terrible experience, I'll never use them again.

Unlike Enterprise where you only have to buy one option for $32.00, Avis/Budget (not so Budget) makes you buy two options for full coverage, a total of $51.00, EXTRA a DAY!!! I told the agent the inside of car was dirty and had a smell, which turned out to be a moldy sandwich and chips. He didn't even apologize. Good luck if you're renting from them. When I spoke with the person who identified himself only as "Hudson," claiming to be the owner, I was told that a car might not be available at the old or new time because they were waiting on returns from the airport. This was surprising, as I had not been informed of any availability issues when I originally booked. I tried to understand at what point I would have been notified, especially considering the possibility of needing the car at the exact time it was reserved. Instead of addressing the concern, he told me I could make a reservation somewhere else. There was no understanding, no empathy, and no indication that he cared about the inconvenience. What if no other cars were available in the area? His only alternative suggestion was to go to the airport--an option that is typically much more expensive. Based on this experience, I would not attempt to rent from this franchise again.
