I have dealt with Enterprise Car Sales again in Durham, NC & the car was sold to me without floor mats, so I was told if I purchased the mats, I would be reimbursed for the purchase, I followed the instructions, but from April 2025 of this year till now I have yet to get a $26.59 reimbursement from the company. They appear to not stand behind their reimbursements of products, I recommend if they do not have everything on the car, do not do the business, once you put out the money, they do not reimburse you. EXTREMELY dishonest. My sales person Rashad George, after first speaking to me by phone and text, scheduled me to come in and pick my vehicle. After providing all my personal details, he came back and said I was approved for a vehicle, which was far more expensive than what I requested, and for $0 down. I reluctantly agreed, even though the car had a flat tire and other visible minor damage. While going over the contract paper work, he suddenly backpeddled on literally everything he said during the previous 1 hour and 45 mins; stating "they" made a mistake by sending incorrect information to the lender, on my behalf. I am very disappointed in this business at this location -Glenwood Ave . Positives : Most vehicles appear to be prior rental vehicles --which means they had regular maintenance . Beware though -they can have trade-ins on the Lot.Do not assume they are all prior rental vehicles . Price Point; Appears to be below Carmax for similar vehicles . Negatives : Getting and maintaining a certain staff member's attention was a struggle. There was a slender young woman staff member who seemed more important than the customer . The sales associate would say he was going inside to get the Keys and then not show back up . We had to go back in and get them ourselves . At one point he said he would meet us out side --again we had to go get him after waiting on his return . There was a football game on inside --that may have been the reason he kept not being helpful --who knows ? This has GOT to be THE worse car dealership within the entire Triangle area. The entire shop is shady. I was financed by one of their "banks" however the bank, according to them, would only finance 9000$ and that I would have to put down 2000. Only the problem....there WAS not a car on the lot that cost that much money. So I was financed for a car that I had to place over 2000 for. So I went to another dealer that was trying to get me financed and asked Enterprise to provide assistance getting me financed. Enterprise denied that request. They are not "good neighbors". i received numerous emails from Entreprise asking me to review them online. At first I thought it would a good idea since I had such a good experience with making the purchase. After reading Jacob's review i decided to wait until I received my tags before posting a review. Fast forward 29 days later, my tags are scheduled to expire tomorrow and I have not heard a peep out of Enterprise. I called once last week (no plates). I called again yesterday and was told that it was okay to drive around with expired tags. Actually its illegal to do so. In addition I don't think I'm supposed to park in my apartment complex with expired tags so now i run the risk of being towed too. smdh... Okay so I just called today and was told that they cant give me another thirty day tag but my expired tag is good for 15 days. Um no its not and if that is true then why didn't you tell me that yesterday when I called. I explained that I didn't want to be towed from my apartment complex and was placed on hold for 15 minutes. SMH. Finally I called back after holding for fifteen minutes. i get the manager Chris Bohley on the phone who actually did some investigative work and finds out the the tags were shipped to my apartment complex two weeks ago. I am conflicted in posting this review because i had a great experience purchasing the car Richard was a gem and thanks to Chris doing some investigative work I do not have to drive around with expired plates. But I don't appreciate being lied to because three people were too lazy to check with Chris or too scared to transfer me to him, I am not even upset that the tags were sent to my home address when I had them sent to the dealer at the urging of the finance manager. I bought a car here on November 30th 2019, over the Thanksgiving holiday. My Aunt Megan works at the Duke Credit Union, and she recommends her clients as well as friends and family, to this Car Dealership. She her self, has purchased a car here and has brought her son in to purchase his first car here . After my experience here , I will make sure she does not make the mistake of recommending anyone, to this Car Dealership. For starters , when I bought my Jeep originally, I must have been so caught up in the moment , I didn't even notice they were completely missing the front floor mats . My sales lady, Arica, nor anyone else brought this to my attention . It wasn't until I was back in Virginia , I noticed that there were no floor mats . I called the dealership and spoke with Arica . She was pretty nice about it but she asked if I could come pick them up from a pet boys in NC and they would reimburse me.... this was an issue because one- I was back in Virginia and two- the floor mats not being in the 19,000 dollar car when I bought it , should not be my problem and should be taken care of. I called my Aunt when I got off the phone with Arica and boom magic they were going to mail them. So I receive the mats finally around 3 weeks later this was about December 18th. The mats were sloppily thrown into a random box not packaged nor branded with the word Jeep, like I know all 2018 Compass Mats are but it was fine. So I go to place the mats in, and they are completely the wrong fit and had conflicting curvatures on both sides . I reached out to Arica via email and she was very understanding and told me they would send new mats . Great ... glad that was over . Little did I know this was just a spec of dust in the storm of issues, They had in store for me. 6 weeks go by , and I notice I have still not revived my registration I'm the mail. My temporary tags has already expired by two weeks , but I wanted to give them time to work out any cross state bugs . When I reached out to Arica, she mentioned she'd check and get back to me but said it might be an issue with something at the corporate office and being cross state takes time . So I bit, and took that as a proper answer . Four more weeks fly by, and still no registration . By this time it's around January 15th and I bought my car November 30th... let's do the math. So I reach out and ask to speak with a manager, because Arica neglected to get back to me and I needed this solved before I get pulled over and get a ticket. I spoke with Jeff, because Chris was out and he said he'd have Chris call me. Chris never did call me but Jeff did get back to me on January 20th staying that they were waiting for me to get my state inspection because that's what the DMV requires to register the car . Hmmm... excuse me? No one at this enterprise decided that was information they should have reached out to me and relayed ? To make things worst , when I had contacted them all those previous times , they didn't feel the need to tell me this ? Then Jeff insisted "he told Me about this" when I am 1000% sure he did not. But Wow okay fine. 20 minutes later THAT DAY, I got my inspection . Kept the receipts and scanned them over to Jeff for "reimbursement" . Jeff assured me he'd scan everything over to the DMV to take off some of my "footwork" of physically going there my self, like he had originally suggested . I was grateful and moved on with my life . I thought finally , we're getting this all worked out ....... not quite . It is not February 24th, one month and 4 days later and I still did not receive my registration. Remember, I bought my car NOVEMBER 30th. This is a whole 3 months later and two months, I've been driving around with dead tags . I checked DMV under my profile and I see finally the have the car listed . But no registration or tags . So I call over to Enterprise Car Sale and I ask to speak with Jeff .... again. I asked him why my registration was nor transferred over and his response to this whole situation is priceless . He responds by saying "I spoke with the DMV and they mentioned their is a stop on your account , for transferring the registration and tags over . Something you need to pay but I have no access to see what it is my thoughts out loud - hm that's so strange, I don't remember you calling me to tell me this . His thoughts - silence . My response -hello? His response - I'm here . Excuse me ??????? Where did you pick up your customer service skills ? In a cave ? Beware! Enterprise Car Sales is a shady business!!! First of all, let me start by saying that Enterprise deceives customers by posting pictures online that are attractive, however, they don't show the true damages and unsanitary conditions of their vehicles. In fact, I really don't believe they have an inspection/certification process since they appeared clueless about the repairs needed for my vehicle. They are unprofessional in how they transport cars and had one of their car salesman drive to Greensboro, NC to transport my vehicle, adding more miles to the car. On Monday, July 20, 2020, I bought a Jaguar F-Pace from the Raleigh, NC location and Enterprise promised to make some repairs and detail the car on Tuesday. However, this was not the case. Brad, the car salesman and Corbin, the sales manager kept running game and giving me the run-around. Every day there were a new excuse or something else. Bottom line, there was no urgency to get the car repaired or to schedule an appointment at the Jaguar dealership as promised. It wasn't until I returned the car on Thursday, that Corbin mentioned that the part was ordered and that they were waiting for this in order to do the repairs. Very poor communication and terrible customer service. I don't think they ever had any intentions of doing the repairs on the vehicle as they kept giving me days to bring the vehicle back for the following week. As a matter of fact, Enterprise was trying to prolong things so that I would exceed the 7-day buyback period and would be stuck with a vehicle needing repairs. Thankfully, I recognized the games and decided to take the car back. As my husband and I returned the vehicle, no one acknowledged us as we arrived and Brad avoided interactions and had nothing to say. Corbin attempted to be apologetic but he was not sincere. When I mentioned the 7-day buyback approaching, Corbin verbally stated that this could be extended, but he did not produce anything in writing as I suggested. He then stated that the car would be dropped off to the Jaguar dealership the next day to get the repairs done. I was confused on how this could happen so quickly after Brad advised the repairs would be done on the following Monday. Additionally, they were supposed to be waiting on the part, right? The only thing Enterprise did right was detail the vehicle. The car was filthy with lots of animal hair, but the detailer did her thing and did an awesome job cleaning it out. After this experience with Enterprise, I would never consider buying a rental car. These cars appear to be nice, but the reality is that they have been used, abused and dogged by many renting these vehicles. Enterprise Car salesmen and managers are shady and are just trying to sell damaged cars. Beware of the game and understand that cheaper is not always better. In the end, you might end up paying more and losing more. Luckily, there was no loss on my part. read more

I have so many good things to say about the Enterprise Car Sales team on Glenwood Avenue. From the moment I walked through the door, I was cheerfully greeted by several people. Later in the car purchase process, I learned that one of the first people to greet me, Chris, is actually a regional operations manager. Every single employee at that dealership came by to say hello and talk to me about the car that I was buying. We talked about our families and careers. They were genuinely interested in me, as an individual, and not only as a potential sale. The whole vibe of the dealership is very positive and it is clear that everyone enjoys their job and employer. Michael, Chris and Daniel were knowledgable, thorough and efficient. Cleo even showed me his Range Rover, because he heard me asking if it was for sale...Range Rover is my dream vehicle. Troy informed me of this when I told him that my BMW had recently been totaled and I did not know what I was going to do for a permanent transportation solution. Michael, my sales rep, called me that same evening, again in the morning and he also sent me an email with a link to view current cars available for purchase (EnterpriseCarSales.com) so, by the time I got to the dealership, I had already chosen which cars I would be interested in test-driving. At first everything was fine. The actual car buying experience was great. The car selection was great, the prices were fair and there was no pressure. Then things took a turn. About a week later we were called to say we had to re-sign paperwork because they had made an error on our trade in. Fine, mistakes happen and I rolled with it. This last Monday our temporary tags expired. I hadn't received the tags or had been called in to pick them up. So I went in on Monday to see whats up. I find out that the inspection hadn't been done right on the vehicle and the state was refusing to issue the tags. Enterprise knew about this for 30 days and never told me. So I got a business car and was told to take the car to AAA for an inspection, the plates would be over-night shipped and I would have them Tuesday. My wife takes the car, watches the guy at AAA call Enterprise to confirm the billing and results. Tuesday comes and go. On Wednesday I go in again to the sales office and they act surprised. They say they have been waiting for my wife to call with the inspection results. I inform them that no, it was done on Monday per our conversation. The manager disappears for about ten minutes and comes back to say that the inspection is in fact in the system, and the plates are being over-night shipped and I should have them Thursday. Thursday night I call in looking for my plates. I get told they are in the manager's office and the manager is on a conference call. The lady that answered the phone said she'd call back in five minutes. 50 minutes later I call back and get put on hold for 15 minutes. The manager gets on the phone and says that his title lady didn't process the tags until Thursday afternoon and then didn't send them over-night. He says he MIGHT have my tags on Sat. So today is Friday, 35 days after I purchased the car. My wife is driving around with expired temp tags and I have no idea when our tags will come in. I had planned on leaving a 5 star review and only doing business with Enterprise for my car purchases. Now I cannot recommend them at all. UPDATE: I've been thinking long and hard about this review for some time. I initially wrote it as a 1/5 review. I'm increasing it to a 3/5 review. I've realized that most of my issues revolve around the DMV not being responsive and not the dealership. This review is long overdue...I should have wrote this a year & a half ago on my initial purchase at Enterprise Car Sales of Raleigh with James A. Williams via my credit union. I was very pleased with my purchase process/experience at that time for my 2013 White Chevrolet Malibu AKA Angel and I'm known for writing letters albeit, good, bad or indifferent! Sad known fact, I didn't write it so here I am again a new purchase process/experience but this time I am speaking on it! I was T-boned two days before Thanksgiving 2015 no fault of my own and Angel was deemed a total loss. I reached out to other Chevrolet dealers to compare prices on 2015 & 2016 Malibu's...YIKES!!! Who knew in the world of car sales some dealership prices are still amazingly unrealistic, for me, you know, someone trying to eat, live, venture out &/or entertain occasionally while paying on a car. I digress. After my realistic view my lender encouraged me to reach out to James A. Williams where a partnership via my credit union had been formed referred to as the ''Borrow Smart. Buy Smart'' a buffet of realistic priced, low-mileage certified vehicles which by the way is the same program I purchased Angel. Assuring me that James would have what I wanted, another Chevrolet Malibu. I called James told him I didn't see a Malibu on their website and he told me to come on in as the inventory is constantly changing and he was pretty sure he would have what I wanted. I have to say, this purchase process/experience started off even better than the first one! James is the MAN! Also, (BONUS) the new location is perfect, clean, inviting and is a green building. I noticed the lights came on when one walked in the room and turned off when one left. James knew what I wanted and made it happen...he's quite experienced and features all of the qualities of a rock star Sales Force! I recognize that he's not ''Enterprise Car Sales'' all by himself, I interacted with the other customer focused and attentive sales people and management team, I get that there is no ''I'' in TEAM...however James A. Williams is my Sales Force who does not strive to be attentive, calm, solution driven, determined, not pushy, purposeful, kind, affable and a leader...he is all of the before mentioned and more. I believe his personal mantra should be ''If it doesn't make dollars, it doesn't make sense for either of us''! I relay that sentiment because that's the way James make you feel...that we are both winners! James considers your needs & wants...yes, he does that! And did I mention that he goes over and beyond? I purchased my 2015 Nissan Versa Note SV from Enterprise Car Sales on Glenwood Ave. I walked the car sales lot and made a few selections of the cars I was interested in taking for a test drive. My sales consultants were the best: Derrick Adams and Jimissa McLean; they gave me all the time I needed, answered all of my many questions and wanted to know what I needed in a car. I highly recommend Derrick and Jimissa they were both very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Purchased a Town and Country, everything was very efficient and staff stayed late to finish paperwork. I asked about missing floor mats and was told they're in one of the storage compartment. Also noticed a broken trim piece on the console, and questioned the missing headphones and remote for the dvd player. Was told they always have to order them 'cause customers take them. The next day I looked in all the storage areas, and guess what? no floor mats! Also noticed broken plastic trim pieces on the second row bucket seats. I called the store and was told our sales person was off that day. That person asked if they could help, and I told them about the missing mats. They said "oh, we never promise mats, but I'll see if I can find some for you" They took my number and said sales person would call back the next day. I spoke with the salesperson the next day who asked me to send photos of the damaged parts. After they viewed the photos, I was told that they'd have to talk to the manager and would call me the next day. they have a 7 day return policy and it was already day 3, I still had no mats and based on my phone conversation was losing any confidence that the missing/broken parts would be replaced. We were leaving for a two week trip in two days! That night my wife and I checked the inventory at the Greensboro store, saw a Grand Caravan that looked like it might also fit our needs and decided to go check it out. I liked the van in Greensboro and told my story to one of the staff. He said all their cars have mats, and anything missing or broken is replaced without question. He also said headphones and remotes are never put in the vans, so they won't disappear! After encouraging me to drive 25miles to show the van to my wife, we decided we no longer wanted the Town and Country and would buy the Grand Caravan. The folks in Greensboro were so helpful and apologetic for the treatment we'd received in Raleigh. They said that Raleigh had been informed about the switch and not to worry about it, even found us a slightly lower interest rate! We went on our trip, and thoroughly enjoyed our new van. After we returned we found payment books in our mailbox for the van we didn't buy!!! The next day we received the license plate and registration for the van we didn't buy!!! So after a couple of conversations with Greensboro, hopefully it's all straightened out. Now to be fair, given enough time the Raleigh store may have taken care of my concerns, but my conversations after the sale with their possibly clueless staff gave me no confidence that this would happen. I mean, you advertise a seven day return policy, but even after they were told on the fourth day that we weren't buying the Town and Country, they still processed the loan application and vehicle registration??, unbelievable!! So I may be an Enterprise customer in the future, but I'll call Greensboro first! read more

I walked into Enterprise Car Sales with the expectation of service of other big time dealerships, which is less than stellar. The experience that I had was something from a different realm!! The treatment from the staff was warm and inviting. They allowed me to tell them what it was that I wanted and worked around that. I had already selected a few cars online and they had them lined up when I got there to test drive. They did not try to sell me something that was not in my description or choice. They gave me more for my trade-in than I thought it was worth, worked around the max amount that I was willing to pay. They were patient and explained everything in detail that I needed to know. Their pricing is fair and straight forward with no hidden fees. The paperwork was easy to follow and short. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking to buy a quality used car!
