He came by recovery when I was "more" aware, and my sister was in the room (four ears are better than two), to discuss discoveries, how to move forward, prescriptions and diet. The knowledge is oh-so important. But the bedside manner counts for a lot, too. And he has both. Call January 24 from his office indicated -- after pathology was performed on the tumor -- it was exactly what was expected and benign (not some OTHER type of tumor) and that clear margins were achieved. I've never had this type of dental…read morework performed on me before, but I have a vivid memory of my mother crying after she had a root canal some 50 years ago. After reading other reviews that all indicated how quick and relatively pain free this procedure was at Sage Endododontics, and reminding myself I've had two total knee replacements, with months of pain, I assured myself that this wasn't going to be too bad. I was still nervous about it. I shouldn't have been. From the time I called for an appointment to the actual root canal, everything went smoothly. The staff couldn't have been nicer, or the process easier. When I called for the appointment I was told since I had no dental insurance that the cost would be $1700 and that was all inclusive. I arrived early, and was told that the person scheduled before me never showed up, so I was taken earlier than my appointment time. First, they took some x-rays in the chair, and then led me to an adjacent room where they took 360 degree x-rays. I returned to the chair and the assistant put the x-rays on a small illuminated viewer for Dr. Corretjer to review. (They referred to her by her middle name, Dr. Garcia). She came in a few minutes later and looked at the x-rays and asked me if I had any questions. I only had one, "How long will the procedure take?" She said, "About 20 minutes." Amazing! I was offered a blanket, which I accepted, as well as watching Netflix or the HG channel while the procedure was done. I decided just to close my eyes and try to relax while it happened. I was told by the assistant that if I felt any pain to raise my hand, and if I needed them to suction any excess salava to raise my index finger. During the root canal I didn't have either of those things happen. They put what looked like dark sunglasses over my regular glasses and then Dr. Garcia applied some numbing gel to my gums. Then she injected the local anesthetic in 3 spots around the affected tooth. Even the injections were about half the pain I remembered having when I had a crown installed years ago. My root canal only took 20 minutes as predicted by Dr. Garcia. Other than the numbing injections, it was completely painless. When it was done, they took a few more x-rays in the chair, and that was that. I was given a sheet of post operative instructions, and told I could return in a year for a complimentary follow-up exam. I was directed to contact my dentist to have a permanent filling put in within 2-4 weeks. If you need a root canal I highly recommend Sage Endodontics as the place to have it done. I had a five star experience there.

After…read morea consultation in Oct 2022 for a philtrum lip lift I scheduled the surgery and he did it in May 2023. From the beginning I made it very clear to him that I wanted my philtrum not only shortened but my vermilion border fuller. Immediately after the surgery I could tell he did not do what I had asked. He took out very little skin in the philtrum and under my nostrils. In my checkup appointment 7 days after the surgery I expressed to him I was not happy with the results of the surgery as it was not what we had talked about. I made an appointment that day for a revision. I went back Sept 29th and he did the surgery a second time. As he was stitching me up he said "ok, your vermillion border is at the middle of your canine teeth, I'm not going to pull it up anymore." When he handed me the mirror afterwards I noticed immediately that it was NOT at the middle of my canine teeth. It was still at the bottom. He lied. Not wanting to argue with him I left displeased. A week later I went back for my post op checkup and told him it was not at the middle of my canine teeth like he had told me. All he could say was "well I thought it was." Yes, that was his lame response. So once again after TWO SURGERIES he did not take enough skin out from under my nostrils like I specifically asked multiple times. What is even more upsetting is, now after these two surgeries my vermilion border is actually thinner than it was to start with because he has pulled up my cupids bow and not taken enough skin out from under my nostrils. It's been a month since my surgery and now I'm suffering from stitch abscesses because it took the moron over 20 minutes just to stitch me up. It didn't take him nearly that long the first time. It actually hurt because he put too many stitches in and pulled them way too tight. Now they aren't dissolving (see pic below). I had to go to another doctor to get Clindamycin antibiotic to heal the abscesses. This whole fiasco has been a complete nightmare and a waste of my time and money. Dr. Branham should not be allowed to touch anyones face! He will tell you what you want to hear just to get your money, and then he will do as he wishes, not as you want. He needs to go back to medical school and learn how to stitch a wound. If you're considering him I would look elsewhere for a plastic surgeon.

Being able to get (basically) immediate care was really great. I joined the waitlist online and made my way there when it was my turn. They started me out with a hearing test, and then I met with the doctor. She prescribed me with some meds to try to help the problem, and gave me a couple of possible causes for my attack. It was still so early, so it was hard to eliminate all of the possible factors. I do wish I was given a print out and more information, as I think it would have been helpful for my future appointments at other doctors, but I walked out empty handed. I continued to have problems and called again the next day. The doctor was pretty prompt in calling me back which I genuinely appreciate. All in all, it's a solid service given what it is- walk in. Front desk was really helpful, and everyone was really kind.

As I wanted to be seen to have my ears cleaned, I thought it would be easy. The website was a no go, as the staff would have seen me in a week. So I dropped in or walked in as they now allow. Fortunately for me, I was able to get in 2 days later. Dr. Clarke is very professional and he uses the state of the art equipment. I was in the chair less than an hour. The shots to numb the tooth were not painful at all. Dr. Clarke communicated what he was doing at every turn of the procedure. Some dentist are performing root canals. Don't risk it. See Dr. Clarke.
