Showed up early to fill out the paper work then it was a waiting game. Finally after 2 hours, I said something - funny how once I complained it was my turn suddenly. After a 2 hr wait, the appointment took 5 min and I was informed that there had been an emergency the day before so those people were being prioritized into the schedule with the people who actually had set appointments. I recommend that if that happens again, you call and reschedule people instead of making them wait 2 hours. Needless to say I won't be back.

Finally after several hours in recovery he comes in the room and loudy says "do you abuse drugs" ha my husband doesn't even drink he was just in a lot of pain and knows what works as this was his THIRD surgery on his ear. We were embarrassed and had never been treated like that from anyone. We would never treat someone like that so was very upset to be treated this way. He handed him a rx for 10 pain pills and stated "I've done over 500 surgeries and never had to give anyone stronger pain meds" then he very cocky like walked out. Needless to say my husband will not even go back for his follow up he just has lived with the still continuing pain in his ear. (This is the first time I've ever left a review on yelp and hopefully the last negative one I just felt strongly about sharing this so others can do their homework better than my husband did I took several weeks before posting this so this isn't a fast out of anger review. I tried to calm down from this whole experience and review with a clear head)

Being able to get (basically) immediate care was really great. I joined the waitlist online and made my way there when it was my turn. They started me out with a hearing test, and then I met with the doctor. She prescribed me with some meds to try to help the problem, and gave me a couple of possible causes for my attack. It was still so early, so it was hard to eliminate all of the possible factors. I do wish I was given a print out and more information, as I think it would have been helpful for my future appointments at other doctors, but I walked out empty handed. I continued to have problems and called again the next day. The doctor was pretty prompt in calling me back which I genuinely appreciate. All in all, it's a solid service given what it is- walk in. Front desk was really helpful, and everyone was really kind.

As I wanted to be seen to have my ears cleaned, I thought it would be easy. The website was a no go, as the staff would have seen me in a week. So I dropped in or walked in as they now allow. The walk in process ended up taking about 60 minutes. Not terrible, but not exactly as expected. As I will be traveling and not back in town for a while, I wanted to get this done. He had viewed my CT scans online when I was in the ER, so he knew my case. He examined, then presented the options and his recommendation. And we were on our way. Today he fixed my orbital blowout (yeah, that's what they call it) at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. Dr. Rosenblum came to see me prior to surgery, and not a lot of surgeons do that. A fabulous personal touch. He was friendly, yet all business and entirely professional. He came in saying, "You look great with your broken face," which was a helpful ice-"breaker"!! He reviewed all my pre-op tests results thoroughly along with my whole "chart," was upbeat, and inspired optimism and great trust in his skills. After surgery, he met and talked with my friend who escorted me to Missouri Baptist Medical Center (friend or family for the driving situation is required), and gave her all the particulars, spending a good piece of time to explain everything. Kudos for that!! All-around, a top-notch, first-class physician and surgeon!

bsolutely heartbreaking…read more If your insurance doesn't cover this as some kind of "enrichment" or something I would steer clear (it is not medical, as no physicians work here). I was seriously ill (uncoordinated/disoriented, in pain and suffering from tinnitus like crazy). My first appointment with a new primary was months away and I was panicking when I thought I'd found a specialist in MDBI. So, being a walk-in I paid cash for my visits.The treatment I received consisted of looking at white squares and being spun around in a chair. Again, none administered by a medical professional. When I ran out of cash, a form and pen were provided to me to take out a loan. At my last visit to MDBI I reported that I felt worse than before starting the "treatments". The young woman responded unassuredly "Sometimes you feel worse before you feel better?". Frustrated, I then asked when we were going to address my hearing issues to which she replied "oh, we don't do anything with hearing here." I was stunned.... I did not return. Finally after a couple months, I got in at BJC and got a new primary. I was on the verge of a stroke and had a blood clot that could have killed me. I have a blood disorder that I'm now going to Siteman for. It had not occurred to me that no one at MDBI took my blood pressure/vitals or anything like that. I reported my health situation and asked if there was room for any discretion in regards to expenses I'd accrued at MDBI (thousands). I was not contacted again and even had emails from an established address returned to me. In the years since, my review has evolved from "I'm confused and disappointed" to "This is a scam." At this point I heard from them again. They threatened me with further financial injury if I did not take down my review "immediately" and that this would be my first and only request before I was sued for legal fees.

I went to MDBI for assessment and vestibular therapy a couple of months ago. The equipment is good…read more My audiologist was great and knowledgeable. I worked with only one audiologist over my series of visits. This is unlike going to physical therapy businesses or hospitals where you get passed along from one person to another as their availability dictates. No one tried to sell me any packages or services beyond the therapy my doctor prescribed. There are no memberships or anything like that. I liked how un-salesy this place seems. The machine and technology they use for assessment and therapy seem pretty good. I have a much better idea of what is going on w/ my ears and even my eyes now. The online portal where your video therapy instructions are and where you can message your therapist are easy to use. There was some confusion over billing. I suspect this was due to my insurance company falling short in accuracy. I told MDBI about it and their staff looked into it and had my account fixed up in no time. Oh. The first appointments are at 7 a.m.! Isn't that great? I had to take barely any PTO. Tell Casey hello and that I decided not to have surgery at this time after all!
