These people lowball your estimate. They make you pay that up front. Then blame the insurance company when they send you a larger bill after surgery.. I paid up front almost 700. These employees have been there long enough to know how estimates should be figured. Yet they lowball to get you to sign off on the surgery. After surgery I get another bill for 800 plus. There were no problems with my surgery to cause extra charges. Really bad business practices. If you have the option to use another place? Go there instead of here. The business office is inept. Incapable of treating people fairly. So deceptive. They are in no way being upfront with their patients about cost of services. Evidently their company thinks that is fine and encourages it. I have no problem paying my bill. I just expect West Texas Eye Assoc to be upfront about charges form the beginning. Oh and if you tune in to people talking in the waiting area, it's always packed. You'll hear many complaints. One lady and one gentleman were more than happy to share their experience with West Texas Eye business office. I know I am not alone in my experience.
