I got my fresh Rosca De Reyes today at Ensenada Markets to share at work. I even saw the bakers making the fresh bread. The large Rosca was very inexpensive for the great quality, about 20.00 dollars. The Rosca is placed in a very nice display box. The bread was so moist and delicious. I got so many compliments at work. I'm getting all my pan dulce at Ensenada Markets.

I can't believe I haven't written a review for Tokyo Central yet, though I've stopped by here…read moredozens of times - my go to is their sushi tray options! They have the BEST tasting salmon sushi/sashimi all around, at this price point, even better salmon quality compared to nearby sushi restaurants in my opinion. (Our Japanese native friend also agrees.) Best part is - 20% off after 7 pm!!!! But the trays get snatched up quickly. Too bad I'm not around the area at that time, otherwise I'd make Tokyo Central my weekly run for dinner. Their Kimchi Tako Poke is another regular we get, it's so good. However, recently, the only option I saw was the Shoyu Tako Poke - and I didn't like this version one bit - too hard and the flavor is not to my liking. Will never get it again. The hot food area has quite a decent selection, priced and weight by the pound, self-served. Often around 3-4pm, you may see 20% discounted packaged hot food placed out, whatever that's leftover from the lunch rush hour. Tried it a few times, but felt most of the food is heavily dosed in MSG, so I'd be selective on what I get. They also have sashimi party trays which require pre-order. Great pricing for the quality and convenience. Overall, love their sushi selection, and it's a regular stop for us. As for the market itself, there's not as much to buy, and pricing is on the higher end. However, they have a larger selection of some products that I can't find elsewhere, and sometimes their advertised specials are decently priced.

Also grocery and refrigerated items I hadn't seen before. This location is very clean, lots of fresh bento boxes for your choosing. They have a good frozen section and many pantry items. Prices are pretty much the same as other locations. My only experience that was blah was the cashier. She was an older lady with glasses and she seemed impatient and hurried me to move my items towards her on the belt. There was only one other person behind me, so I didn't understand the rush. But it did come off slightly unfriendly. Otherwise, it was an as expected store. Lots of parking also in their lot.

I found some awesome deals while shopping. They had three large Korean pears for $3!!! That's such a steal. I was so happy to find my favorite fruit at a great price. Among my groceries, I treated myself to the viral fruit shaped ice cream. I believe it was $7 for a pack of three. I feel like it's a lot more affordable here than places in my hometown that charge more than half of the price for just one. It was tasty and I can definitely see the hype.

This location consistently delivers a top-tier grocery experience, specifically in two key areas. The Deli & Meat Department: The service here is phenomenal. The deli staff is always helpful, but the meat department is where this store truly shines. If you're looking for quality, ask for Joseph. The man is like a ninja with a blade--he's incredibly precise and clearly takes pride in his craft. He consistently helps me find the freshest cuts for the right price, making my dinner prep a lot easier (and tastier). Staff & Management: The front-end experience is just as solid. A huge thank you to the cashiers who keep the lines moving quickly while remaining genuinely friendly. It's clear that the store is well-managed; the Manager, George, runs a tight ship. The store is always clean, well-organized, and has a great neighborhood vibe that keeps me coming back. Highly recommend this location if you want great service and high-quality meat!

I rolled in this weekend, hyped for my ritual football pizza haul--custom-loaded beauties exactly how I like 'em, with that killer garlic sauce and maybe a cult-classic Hawaiian for good measure. What do I get? Mild shock? Try full-blown betrayal. The entire pizza section? Demolished. Custom orders? Gone. Those awesome grinder sandwiches? Vanished like they never existed. Now it's just sad, pre-made frozen hockey pucks thawed out by two employees whose thrilling job is... pulling boxes from the freezer and slapping 'em in the oven. No unbaked take-home option anymore--because why give customers choices when you can force-feed us mediocrity? Zero customization, zero flavor, toppings so mysterious I couldn't tell if it was pepperoni or cardboard. And that excellent garlic sauce? Axed. Hawaiian? Eradicated, like it personally offended the boardroom. This tastes like the kind of "pizza" you'd approve in a shiny office meeting while ignoring every employee and customer screaming otherwise. You didn't ask us what we wanted--you McDonald 's-ified one of the last true gems in your stores. Shame on you, WinCo execs. You've turned a great deal into a total waste of money and time. I'll be taking my football feasts (and the rest of my grocery budget) elsewhere. Enjoy those cost savings while your deli slowly dies. What a wild, terrible, customer-hating change. Do better--or at least pretend to listen.
