I stopped here with a friend. I'm new to the area. I was craving Al pastor tacos. I'm used to the little ones you get everywhere else. I bought 8 came out to 29 bucks which i thought was a lot at the time. When i got home f---- those where some big ass tacos. One could be two easily. That's 16 tacos. And they were so good. This little market in La Puente sells meat, produce, candy, chips, and bakery items. I like the fact that they have a bakery/tortilleria, and the prices are pretty decent. However, the rest of their items are a little expensive. There's also a window to pay bills and send money grams which is pretty cool. I only buy my carne asada at Ensenada Markets, it is so good and the only carne asada my family eats.

Small hole in the wall bodega, but that meat counter! I've purchased carne ranchera preparada/carne asada (marinated beef flank steak for grilling) here at least 4 or 5 times now and the meat is always super tender, and flavorful. It's a big downside that they don't sell beer, but it seems they have a western union or something in the back (strange). They also have a restaurant counter that will make tortas and tacos. Parking can get hairy (only about 7 spots). read more

This business is a joke. I came in to and send money to Mexico and was discriminated against because it was my first time trying to send money. The young guy helping helping me was a total fucking dick trying to talk down to me about the process. He was of no help and denied my request to send money because I was trying to "scam" him? Don't go here. My mom bought "cueritos" and they were bottled up. Once she got home turns out the safety seal was missing and it smelled. She went back and they didn't want to give her a refund because she didn't have the receipt. Which I understand, but then the manager spoke to my mom in a loud voice "Imma give you your money back but out of my wallet" as if she was doing us a favor. I came here because I wanted to grab a quick bite from their kitchen that they have, but to my surprise , what once was a tacos and burrito spot had now become a seafood joint that had just opened that very day. So I decided to try out their fish and shrimp tacos and not only were they $1.50 each but they were BOMB.COM!! my mom loved them and I even sent my brother to get some.
