This company is Trash ... I used them on Friday they sent two very young guys to my downstairs apartment. The heaviest thing they had to load was a living room set . I left everything thing else and some boxes along with bags. That were stacked up for them to load up. They are not the men in the pictures at all. They took over two hours to do this load walking around with headphones on. Finally they make it the new apartment I'm complaining to the office because they are eating my time up and it's taking 45 mins to get the loveseat in the door with nothing else. My nephew had to help them because now the company wants to charge to me extra money I refused to pay so they took the money before the job was over. Then to top it off after 6 hours lost my couch on another floor somewhere now the company won't take my phone call. Because they said I was being rude and that was because Im telling them they people are slow. Who puts a couch on a Dollie and don't push it in the apartment it belongs in you take my money without reimbursement because I have an attitude. The Manager he said will contact me and has never called and they see my number and won't pick up I have to get somebody else to call on three way . I have Never dealt with any company this unprofessional in my life . I will be filing a claim on them. And they broke my lamp. Charge me almost $400 to move a living room set few boxes and trash bags . Smh read more

Untrustworthy business -- we do not recommended this business. We chose this business because we wanted to support a small black-owned business. We scheduled our move two weeks in advance, submitted our deposit, and was assured that we would receive a call thirty minutes prior to our scheduled time. Fast forward to present day-- 7/7/22 0900 (one hour later than our scheduled move in time)- the company has become unresponsive to our texts, calls, and messages; after an 1 hour of us calling, the owner responds by saying that "the driver had a family emergency because his wife went into labor." I completely understand that family emergencies can/may occur but their lack of cooperation and communication is highly unprofessional and they should not be running a business with this type of integrity. read more

We contacted several moving companies and decided to go with Enroute Movers, to support a Black-owned business, huge mistake. We were quoted 3 men for $150/hr, 3 hr minimum and then a flat rate of $150 after 3 hours. We took that to mean after 3 hours we would only be charged $150, considering the guy said "flat rate." Paid the deposit and when the guys showed up on Friday morning, they pulled up in a U-Haul, not a moving truck that actually said "Enroute Movers" as pictured on the website. We weren't provided any paperwork when they showed up, was asked by Will what all they were moving. One of the other guys came in and started moving boxes with the dolly, first few boxes he moved he dropped them. Good thing that box said "pots" and nothing was damaged in that box. During the loading process they were offered ice-cold water as it is extremely hot in Houston. Nothing was double wrapped, like in the pictures on their website. It was either a moving blanket with tape OR the shrink wrap. After 2 hours, everything was loaded onto the U-Haul. As they were getting ready to leave, we gave them more water. They even asked for a case of water, which we said they could have. Will informed me they were going to stop at the store to get some gatorade and stuff. When leaving the pick up location, I noticed the driver was driving a little fast and hit a bump and the truck shifted from side to side. At that moment, I was thinking "OMG I hope they secured everything properly!!" They then proceeded to a gas station off the Beltway, I kept driving to the drop off location. It was about 15-20 mins after I made it to the drop off, the movers pulled up. My spouse met them outside the office and escorted them to the apartment. When I left the office and went to the apartment, my spouse informed me they broke the 65" curved TV. Of course, I'm livid. Will tells me that while driving he heard something. When I come inside I see my tv sitting on the floor without the stand!! I asked Will how'd this happen, he responded he sat the TV on top of the washer/dryer, I'm like why would you do that, who does that. He then said he will have to contact the owner about the TV. The agreement with the owner was to deduct the cost of replacing the stand from the total. As they are unloading the truck, I find more damage. The Curved entertainment center is damaged to where it is unstable. When my spouse spoke to the other guy (the one that had a bad stutter) he told her "shit happens" which really upset her and I had to tell him that is not professional and shit shouldn't happen you're suppose to handle people's belongings with care. I spoke with the owner Jonathan and he said he would fix the entertainment center and bring it to us personally on Monday. After 4 more hours, they finished unloading the U-Haul. Majority of the boxes were severely beat up as if they were thrown around or bigger/heavier boxes were stacked on top of smaller, lighter boxes. They placed the 55" curved TV onto the dresser in the Master bedroom. At a glance it didn't seem the 55" tv was damaged. After plugging the tv in and getting ready to set up the Xfinity stream box, I noticed a crack on the top of the tv. At this point I'm praying that it is just a crack around the edge but when I plugged the TV in the damage was severe. The right side of the screen had a crack from the top to the bottom. At this point I texted a picture to Jonathan and he called me. He said he told the guy to send him a video of all of the tvs before they left and he didn't see the damage. I told him they obviously did not get close up to the tv because I was standing in front of the tv and saw the crack. Had they plugged the tv in and turned it on, they would have seen it. He then said he would file a claim and email me the information. He verified my email and just hung up. More items were damaged, I've only listed the most expensive items. My calls and texts to Jonathan have not been returned. I called the number for Juan with Enroute Movers and informed him that I have not been able to reach Jonthan, he said he would call him and have him call me. No response received. Monday came and went and I still have not received my entertainment center. Week later and I still have not heard from Jonathan via text or email so I call Juan again. He seemed surprised that I hadn't heard from Jonathan, he said he would call him again. I informed Juan we went by the HWY 6 address (on the site) and that is not the address for the business. Juan responded that is their old address and he verified my number and hung up. This has truly been the move from hell, I WILL NEVER USE ENROUTE MOVERS AGAIN!! They were late 3.5 hours. no communication from the office. it was not their fault though. I did not like that they were very unorganized. they did not bring the tools to dismount the furniture. they weee all over the place from point A to point B. I was trying to be on top of them to be careful with things and they would get argumentative. they lost screws and were trying to put things back together like that, either with wrong screws or leaving it without them. my husband had to put back together most of it. they never admitted any wrong doing. at the time to pay they were charging extra hours and other fees that I was never told about when I hired them. The owner gave me a .5 hour discount, but still, it was not what was agreed at the beginning. I very highly do not recommend this company for your move. read more

This company is literally the worst and I am highly irritated to the lack of response from this company. The movers broke my 85 inch tv and when I called to notify and see what would be done about it I had to call a few times before anyone would answer. Then when someone answered I was told I would receive a call back. Which I never did. I attempted to call back a few more times. I was eventually able to speak with someone again and once again was told I would get a call back. I still have not received a call back and this was from June. I sent an email with pictures and videos and still did not receive any form of response of acknowledgment from whoever it is that is supposed to handle this situation. This is disappointing and aggravating. Moving is stressful enough and this company made things worse. read more
