What an amazing place!!! Staring with free cheese filled bread and dipping sauce, it was amazing and very unique for bread service. The staff was so nice and welcoming and stayed on top of the water and clearing our plates. The pastas were all amazing! Very fresh and large portions, definitely big enough to split. A good wine selection as well which was nice. Seasonal burrata was so good. Fresh flavors and enough for the table to share. They brought out parm and pepper flakes for the main dishes without asking which was nice. Outside seating was full but tables are nicely spaced. The lighting was good and they projected movies outside which was cute. Lots of seating and easy to get a reservation for a Saturday night. I would say this place is worth it. Street parking is not bad and the noise from the street didn't bother us. Overall, I will be back!!
Only reason this place doesn't get five stars is our waitress was not very attentive to our drink needs in the food/complementary bread to go fairly long time to come out however, when they did come out, they were all very fresh and hot I got the seafood special and it was very good, but I had buyers remorse because I wanted at least three other pastas that I thought looked better Friend got the short rib and he eat in about three minutes. He really did enjoy it a lot.
Delicious as always! Shout out to Ada for the great service. We got the enoteca adriano to start which is always a hit. I loved the italian pasta with minced sausage and creamy tomato sauce. I added my partners ricotta cheese that he didnt want for his dish, and it was sooo good. If i get it again, id actually order the ricotta with it. I recommend trying it that way!
Always the best food, best ambiance, and best service! The gluten free pasta & gluten free bread are incredible. So many great dishes on the menu, can't go wrong with anything you order

Foodies Founding Member Robyn and I head to Enoteca Adriana this past Saturday for an early dinner. And I must tell you, if you like Italian Food, this is the place to go in Pacific Beach. With all the choices in Pacific Beach, are you sure? Yes. I'm sure. With both indoor and outdoor seating and a staff that lives to accommodate, this is one of the top 5 on my list. We start with Ceasar Salad, bread and wine. Each is to its' perfection. The Salad is perfectly presented, perfectly dressed. The bread has what looks like butter dripping out, but is actually cheese. And the Wine is from Orvieto Italy. Robyn has been there and makes this great suggestion for the wine. What's next chef? We eat small portions of the Orecchiette Bosco and Capellini Pomodoro with Shrimp. We save the rest for lunch the next day (and next day it's even better)! We are saving ourselves for dessert, Robyn's favorite part of the meal. We order Pistachio Cheesecake (not with cream cheese but ricotta), Tiramisu and Pope's Pillow (probably because after you taste it you think you died and went to heaven)! lol All three are nothing but perfection. It's great for date night later in the evening, girls night, family night if you go early. And there aren't too many other places I'm thinking about going back to and taking San Diego Foodies and Carlsbad Foodies to! This my friend is IT. Let's go! To celebrate our 400 day friend streak on Duolingo (yes, somewhat random reason) my friend and I came here with an RSVP at 6pm on a Sunday evening. While many tables were occupied, we were about to select where we wanted to sit (inside or outside) with plenty of options. It was a bit chilly and even though they had heat lamps we opted for a table inside. After reviewing the menu and hearing the specials, I opted for our server's recommendation of rigatoni al brasato while my friend got the most popular dish, pappardelle bolognese. We gave each other a sample of our dishes. I like the pasta consistency for both dishes. His was a bit softer but still had a good bite. My rigatoni had a lovely chew. I added parm and pepper flakes to my pasta and it provided a bit more depth to the flavor. I enjoyed it quite a bit We decided to share a dessert, the Pope's pillow. It has layers of custard, marscarpone and berries. It was a good dessert and perfect for sharing. Our server and the staff were attentive and friendly. We had a great experience.
I loved this spot in PB! It has the cutest vibes - friendly, local, casual. We came here for our anniversary and tried the burrata, the pesto pasta, beef ragu pasta, and tiramisu. The burrata and the pesto pasta stole the show. The pesto pasta comes in a parmesan shell which is insane and we added chicken so we'd have some extra protein. The tiramisu wasn't my favorite so I'd probably skip it next time. They have a great wine selection and the service was perfect.
My new special date night spot! We've eaten here before and always enjoyed the expertise but tonight was extra cool. Maybe it was sitting outside, a classic movie playing on the far wall, the burrata (their specialty), or the company, my lovely wife. It's a great spot. Tonight was simple, burrata and Salmon. The buratta is something special, so whatever they have that night, get it. The salmon was perfectly cooked. Simple and inviting Italian!
This place is really great! I came here on a Saturday night with my parents, and the experience was wonderful from the start. We had a reservation and were seated right away, which made the evening off to a great start. Our server was attentive and gave us a great recommendation for the salad, which we decided to order first. It was delicious; the balsamic dressing was top-notch and paired perfectly with the creamy burrata, pears, and grapes. They then brought out warm bread with cheese, served with balsamic and salad dressing for dipping, which was a nice touch and so flavorful. For our entrées, we ordered the lobster ravioli, mushroom pasta, and shrimp marinara pasta. Every dish was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Overall, the service and food truly impressed us, and I would definitely come back.
Yum! Everything I had here was just delicious. So happy they were able to seat us 30 min before our reservation time because we came early. The complimentary bread was delish and I totally recommend the Orecchiette Bosco, never had anything like it before. Good Italian spot in PB!! One thing I'd like to note is that there were a lot of flies if you sit outside that might mess with your food/water. Vibes were great!
The service was fantastic from start to finish. I had called ahead to see if I could bring my family and when we arrived the host had a table already set aside for us. Our server was knowledgeable of the menu, kind and very attentive. The food was delicious from the Bruschetta, cheese bread, wine and pasta. Sooo yummy. I am not a local but definitely a spot we will come back to when we are in town.
I've driven past this spot multiple times and figured it was finally time to try it. It's such a cute little hole in the wall, love the vibe here. This cheesy bread app was absolutely fantastic. Perfect start to the meal. I ordered the chicken and did enjoy it, however, the short rib rigatoni was definitely the favorite entree of the table.

I am so happy I finally came here! Came here on a Wednesday date night and was so happy we did! I was in the mood for Italian and a scary movie, and what do you know they were playing Halloween movies on their wall! What a fun experience. 1st time and we enjoyed our Anniversary dinner here tonight The food was delicious, from our appetizer to our dessert everything was tasty all made to order and hot and fresh tasting Service was friendly accommodating and shout to our server Ryan ( I think sorry we forget and can't remember her name ) but she was very lovey The ambiance is nice and cozy perfect for date night. So Enoteca has always been wonderful since we discovered the restaurant in 2010 when it was first opened and have continued to come here often ever since. We will miss Franco as the owner/chef but we are glad that Giuseppe bought and continued service for the restaurant. Of course, when there is a new owner / chef we do expect that there will be differences. Thankfully, we get to start each meal with the cheesy hot bread and dipping sauce. The burrata remains excellent! An Excellent change was the gnocchi in the suburb and fresh red sauce . We are really sad to see the spinachi salad off the menu. Hopefully it is just seasonal because that was one of our favorite salads. Everyone has an arugula, Parmesan salad.... Orchietti Bosco was as delicious as usual. We hope that the Sea Bass in lobster reduction sauce and squid ink pasta will remain on the menu, as it is our favorite Sea bass dish in San Diego... I did notice that on my ravioli Rossi that the lobster reduction sauce wasn't quite as good as it used to be .... Other items that I see were missing is the Mediterranean cod dish. There also seems to be less soup. We also used to be able to get pasta substituted for the mashed potatoes, which we are disappointed is not happening any longer. Maybe Franco just used to do that for us since we had been coming since the restaurant opened.... We noticed the wine list isn't quite as extensive and unfortunately fees are more expensive. There have been some physical changes in the restaurant, which are nice . Again, we will continue to come frequently, but we do hope to see the return of some past menu favorites . And maybe the lobster sauce recipe needs some tweaking . Thank you. I wish you much continued success Giuseppe and staff! read more
This is a quaint little Italian, one of a kind restaurant. We went on a Sunday, which was pretty packed. Luckily we had reservation. Although the waiter was not quite attentive as we would like because he had many other seats to tend to he was OK. The food was OK, but it wasn't anything special. I did like the ambience. The price was OK. Overall, I would say give this place a try if you want a cozy Italian restaurant. read more

Made reservations for a group of 8 and the service was great and attentive! The food was also delicious Italian and space was lively with a comforting vibe. I got the Seabass Special and it was cooked perfectly with a squid ink pasta in a luscious sauce. Desserts are also wonderful here too! My favorite was the Wild Berry Medley Torte that was not too sweet and well-balanced. Overall, would love to come back for more great pasta! read more

This was my 1st time dining at Enoteca Adriano. Really cute date night or special occasion spot. Oscar our waiter was so great, it was busy so you do have to wait a bit for food & drinks. It was worth the wait! I had the spaghetti romana and the spinach salad, DELICIOUS. Only issue that happened, my next to me was finished his pasta and there was a piece of Glass He told one of the waiters, 10 minutes later the manager came over and told the whole table, it was a piece of plastic. I found to that to be a bit unprofessional. I know mistakes but for the manager to make light of it, was kind of strange. I don't want to give it a bad rating because the food was Outstanding. I'm not sure if I would return? I'm conflicted because of the piece of glass/plastic?1 read more

This was my first time dining at Enoteca Adriano. I find the restaurant options in pacific beach to be rather lack luster so I wasn't sure how this would be. Thankfully I didn't need to worry. We were sat right away for our reservation and the service was very friendly and timely. To start, we had the burrata special which had grilled eggplant, cherry tomatoes, capers and arugula drizzled with a roasted red pepper sauce. So good! For main courses we had the spaghetti carbonara and the gnocchi. Both were very tasty, you can't go wrong with a well done carbonara. The gnocchi were very light and fluffy. Overall, this was a perfect date night spot! read more

One of my go-tos in the area. Brought my parents here from out of town and my dog (they are pet friendly :) Oscar was our server and was extremely patient with us and even brought us extra wine while we waited for our dinner. Seasonal Burrata is a must, and any of their pastas really. Everyone was full and drunk and we were greeted a few times by what seemed to be the manager who was a sweet pea -despite my dad making slightly uncomfortable comments. I haven't visited this place since my mother's birthday years ago. When my parents came to town to visit, it was actually my mom that wanted to eat here. Highly recommend making a reservation. We were seated promptly. They expanded their outside, and there were many heat lamps to help with the cold weather (SD cold). The food was the absolute best. Everything we ordered was delicious. Coming from someone who has tried nearly every italian spot in SD, this is by far my favorite and most consistent. My partner and I come here once a year on our anniversary and I get the pasta romano (the pesto pasta in the cheese bowl) every time, it is seriously so good. Happy to see it hasn't blown up quite yet, it's a nice little hole in the wall but it's a must go. They have a movie playing on the projector sometimes in the main dining room which is a great touch (Nightmare before Christmas in October!) The food was amazing but the service was horrendous. The rigatoni porcini was amazing with lots of mushrooms and it everything I was looking for in a pasta dish. We also tried the rigatoni al brasato which was also good but VERY rich. We waited over 30 minutes for our waiter so we could order another round of drinks and dessert and the host ended up helping serve us. Unsure what the issue was as she was serving the tables around us and the place was not full but hoping that was a fluke event. Dessert was worth the wait! read more
My party sat outside and was able to enjoy the beautiful San Diego evening in their covered patio with our dog. As soon as we had the freshly baked bread stuffed with mozzarella and meatball appetizer, we knew we were in for a great meal. The pastas were cooked perfectly al dente and the double cut pork chop was super moist and perfectly seasoned. We were all full, but grateful we decided to share the wild berry dessert. Food is always good and the staff has been always cordial and obliging. We were here on a short vacation in Pacific Beach. Had a great meal and time at Enoteca Adrianno. Just a short walk from our hotel (Pacific Terrance Inn). Don't have to go to Little Italy for good italian food. read more
We had the pleasure of having dinner here for a friend's bachelorette party Saturday night and the food and ambiance literally transported us to Italy-- let me tell ya about it . Upon arrival, we waited in line behind another party to get checked-in to our 7pm reservation, but the host was no where to be found . After waiting 10 minutes, which seemed like forever in our group of 6 dressed in our show-stopping bachelorette party themed outfits, we finally got our table . The inside was decorated classic, lights were romantically dim, and the place itself had a very vintage feel . There were wine bottles in the background used as part of the esthetic . We were sat right in front near the left side of the door. Water jugs and cups were pre-set on the table and we waited another 10 mins to be greeted to order wine . We finally were greeted by Hector who was very kind and friendly, but he definitely was a busy man . He took our wine orders, brought us the complimentary bread and oil dip, and then we placed our main dish orders . Here's the food review: Cabernet was smooth and hit the spot. Perfect to balance out the rich Italian dishes ! 8.5/10 complimentary bread and dipping oil was tasty and a nice freebie. 7.5/10 Spaghetti Romano was ready to be photographed for Instagram ! Spaghetti was cooked perfectly al dente just how I liked. Burrata was fresh and creamy . Pesto cream was deliciously rich and flavorful . Crushed pistachios gave some nuttiness . The pecorino cheese crust bowl was the star of the show-- Crispy, crunchy, salty, and sooo fun to eat . Recommend sharing ! 9/10 My other friends had the salmon entree, both gnocchi entrees, prosciutto salad (which i almost ordered for myself)-- they all enjoyed their dishes and presentation was lovely . They offered me to try, but I honestly was too full from my spaghetti to try them lol . The bride was offered a free dessert which was a nice touch-- she loved every bite ! Overall, food was very authentic and satisfying . Love that they have plenty of variety and even gluten-free options . We were there for a total of almost 3 hours which is a little much due to the fact that we all only had one drink each-- the bride had two drinks lol . I would love to be back to try more of their dishes, but maybe on a less busy time and day ! read more

Is your patio dog friendly?
I've seen dogs on the patio, although it is quite cozy/tight, so it would be really tough to have a large dog on the patio without people tripping over it.

Every day it is different. Some pasta is homemade. Some is not. They also have gluten-free pasta available.
