I bought an Advanced AV with an Echo Sounbar around Thanksgiving, asked to deliver Xmas Eve: clockwork.... and the delivery guy wouldn't accept a tip. Cart is fast and smooth, but the sound bar was wobbly and the Parking deactivate (for towing) wouldn't disengage. So I called Emmits, they came out 3 days later, picked up the cart, delivered back in 3 weeks with a new stabilizer bar for the sound and the Patking button fixed. Guy still wouldn't accept a tip... Anyway, love the cart, my service has been great; I'll add that Emmits had waaaay more options than anyone else I tried. All in all - a good experience pre- and post-sale. So many reasons not to use this company. The latest is them charging me $85 plus tax to come get and deliver our golf cart that has been broken for almost a year after them replacing the batteries. They replaced the batteries (took over 2 months) and ever since the replacement the cart would not work correctly. We kept telling them it was a wiring or bad battery issue. They picked up the cart three times and brought it back to us basically telling us we were the crazy ones. This last time they picked it up and finally found it was a bad battery and wiring. Ding ding ding. Like we said. I'm irate at the fact they would even ask for money from us after not being able to use the cart for nearly a year and leaving us stranded 3 times after it broke down right after telling us everything was okay. First time they delivered it we tried to use for Halloween but none of the lights worked they forgot to plug something in so we didn't get to use it, they picked it back up bright it back we tried to use it for a Christmas parade and got stranded a mile into it with the cart jerking and shutting off, they picked it up returned it for a 3rd time we paid to have a $100 battery meter, this time I got stranded picking up the kids from school with the battery meter full, it just shut off no power to the cart but they still didn't believe me that the cart was charged even with photo proof. All in all they had our cart more than we did this year returned it 3 times with nothing fixed. Funny thing is I was going to add a tip that they made things right but after them charging us anything do not so business with this company. I will attach all of our emails and photos when I get a chance. Originally when we bought our cart they said it would be 5-6 weeks, yall it was about 3 months. Just this 4th time them having it to fix it, under warranty, they had it for nearly two months. Do not trust this company. Even today he called and asked if I would be home this afternoon, he explained they were currently loading the cart and would be by about 1pm and would that be okay. I said yes, made my way back home to be there for them. I arrived home at 12:30 waited until 2:55, nothing. Then at 3:10pm I get the call the driver is there to deliver the cart and they can't leave it because they need to collect money. We have never been so inconvenienced by a company. Do not go through the hell we have with this company. Save yourself the headache and use Kenfeild. I used kenfeild for years working in the apartment industry and never once had an issue with them. Used them at 4 properties I managed and they were incredible. Sadly they didn't have a cart when we were shopping and that's when we made the mistake of using Ennis. They did replace the charger, which had had zero complaints about. Blake seemed to want extra praise for doing that, thank you for the new charger. Nice people but there's a big problem with their customer service. First time was a bad battery issue that was under warranty. Took forever to get this resolved and then they charged for pickup and a few other misc things. All while under warranty Another time I needed a replacement key. They said yes they have one and just come by and pick it up. I mean Liberty Hill is close to almost nothing. I go by and they said this particular Yamaha cart has a specialized key and they can't get the parts at this time. What? A key? I called back to speak to someone and they said they would have to call me back later in the day when they weren't so busy. Well, it's two weeks later. Bought a golf cart from them in 2023. Numerous issues with rattling etc. it's been in The shop 3 times prior to this last time. This time we asked they pick up the day before we were to leave town. Didn't happen until three days later. They had the cart for two weeks with no call on status. When we finally got an answer they needed to order a part. Okay we kept calling on status. We were always told we would get a call back. Nothing. Finally after 6 weeks they said it would be delivered Friday. They delivered the wrong cart with the delivery address ( not ours).clearly on the key. We were home! No knock on the door. Called Saturday morning, they had not listened to their messages. Just wanted to share our experience with Ennis Cart to help others avoid the same frustration. We had our cart picked up by Ennis Cart for repairs--which was a nice convenience--but unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing. Here's what happened: * They had our cart for 5.5 weeks. * We never received any proactive updates. Every single week we had to call them just to ask what was going on. * After 4 weeks, they finally told us what they thought the issue was. We asked for a quote, but were told they weren't sure yet and would only charge us if that part ended up being the problem. * Another week and a half passed, and we checked in again--turns out that was the part needing replacement. But when we asked the price, we were shocked: they told us $1,000 but would do it for $900. THEN whe the final bill cane it changed to $900 for a controller and 1 hour of labor. * When we got the final bill--it was $1,077 NOT the $900 quote. * The lady working the front desk would tell us numerous times she would get an update and call us back. We would never get a call back and have to call back two days later everytime. We looked up the part: * $300 on Amazon * $650 through Cart Kings, who quoted us a total of $750 out the door for the same job. When we confronted Ennis Cart about the price, they insisted the part alone was $900. That's a huge markup. What's most frustrating: * The front desk could never provide a clear quote the entire time. * They went ahead with the repair without confirming the cost with us first. * We had to call for every update. * The final bill was significantly higher than other shops for the same service. We really wanted to support a local, non-chain business, but this experience felt like we got taken advantage of. We won't be returning. If your experience with them has been better--great! I wish I could give ZERO stars. These guys are the WORST. I bought a brand new $18,000 golf cart from them in March and was promised delivery in 2-3 weeks. The cart was finally delivered in June, 3 months later. Additionally, I paid a $450 upcharge for an upgraded seat, which was not delivered. I was told that it would be drop shipped later when they became available. Instead, I have just been told that the seats are no longer available. I cannot give one good thing about this place. I called for a service on my golf cart because my stereo was working on the new batteries I bought (somewhere else). They picked it up and called me and sold me on getting new bushings. I agreed. They tried to sell me something else but I said no. I got my golf cart back a few days later after having to call them 2-3 times across multiple days to get updates. They did not have it together at all. They also do not call back for updates so you need to hope for the best. My wife signed for the golf cart because I wasn't home and he made her pay on the spot (the last time I paid an invoice online with the last company I used). Not a big deal but what followed made it so. So I go to use it and nothing was working. So I had to flip a couple switches which was not explained to me, finally got it working but then saw that the POWER BUTTON on my stereo had been broken off. So the button was gone but behind the button was a little click on the circuit board so I can turn it on with a safety pin. So I turn it on and only ONE SPEAKER WORKS. I also checked the bushings and there's no evidence that they did anything here. Nothing looks new. I called them and they said that they did change the bushings and that the button must have fallen off in transit and told me I was out of luck and they didn't have a solution for it since it was lost. I was supposed to get call backs across 3 separate days but never did and every time I called they said I had to wait for the right person. They asked me "well what do you want us to do about it?" I said refund my money (over $500) and he said "I need to ask." Never called me back. Currently fighting this with my credit card company because they lied to me and stole from me. Unless you're buying an overpriced $10,000 golf cart from them you will not see a glimpse of positive service from them. read more

Amazing customer service! We came here looking for 8" wheels for our golf cart. The golf cart is a lot older than what they usually deal with. We were greeted immediately with a small. They seemed very busy with both garages open working on multiple gulf carts at one time. My husband was taken out back to look at the 8" wheels and returned promptly with 2 used wheels and tires! 4 months ago I ordered a cart from Ennis. We drive out there and picked from a fleet of Yamahas that had just been trucked in. I ordered a sound system and put an extra seat on it, extended roof, and an enclosure. On 10/1 I put a 1k deposit on it. That's the last time I have physically or electronically or verbally been able to speak to them. I've called, emailed (even offering to increase my deposit so I wouldn't have as much at the end) messaged on Facebook and drove out there to no avail. When I drove I got there and it was closed for the 2 weeks between Christmas and Jan 5. Would have been cool had that been on the website or Facebook. Or their phones since I can only get the electronic recording. So a few people started commenting on their FB page over the last couple weeks about similar issues. I put my situation in there. Hoping maybe ownership might see it that way. They removed all comments from the page. So I see the reviews tab. I hit that. See a bit more this time. So I posted my review there. Basically same info. 4 month old order on a cart that they already had. Just needed a couple aftermarket items. This morning I suspect the page has been removed or I've been blocked. I'm pretty easy to find if they wanted to ask me about my situation. Or rectify it. I'm out the 1k and have to weigh my legal options. But feeling like I dodged a bullet come warranty time. They were very very highly recommended. I'm more disappointed that something probably has turned a great place in a different direction and I never got the chance to see it. There's busy. And there's indifference. And there's active measures to block people from asking questions. I've written maybe 2 Yelp reviews in my life. We bought our golf cart from Ennis in May of 2021. We got a 2021 6 seater EZ! We love the golf cart and the awesome owners of Ennis. They are easy to work with...that being said we started having issues with our brand new cart with only 18.7 hour on it. Scott quickly got it picked up from our house and back to the shop for diagnosing. Dylan in service has sent us a few status emails and unfortunately we are just without a golf cart until he's able to locate a part that will hopefully fix the issue. I purchased a Club Car Precedent from them on Saturday evening and will all the excitement I failed to check the overall height of the cart. As to my surprise the cart did not fit in the garage. Monday morning I called them up to express my concerns, they said "Not a problem, bring it back by and let's see what we can do. When I returned to Ennis, Blake welcomed me back with a smile! He explained a couple of options with me and went straight to work. Since I was back I decided to install turn signals and a horn. After a couple of hours I was back on the road. I tried contacting over and over and they blew me off and stated once they would ship them. However, when I need support they never answer the phone and when they do they do not return your calls. I'm giving Ennis a rating of a 2. We had a grade pre-sale and delivery experience but when our cart's screen had a problem and we called (it was under warranty) they kept giving us the run around. We were told part was ordered but back ordered and other numerous excuses. My husband ended up ordering an accessory from another golf cart company in NC where we quickly learned the part wasn't hard to get and the nice gentlemen shipped us a new one for free. I am not a huge fan of businesses who don't honor their commitment to their products so I'd recommend trying a different business. read more

I was very excited about getting a new cart. I needed an AC cart and was told this was the place to go. I understand business getting busy, but dang literally no one answers the phones. We visited the shop a few times to make selections and put down a deposit. Mind you the selections were limited and we had to make alternate choices. Yet, we still wanted to proceed. About two weeks after we were under the impression our cart was being built we received an email that our tires were not available and they were waiting for a deposit. What?!? They even told our neighbors they were waiting for a deposit from us. When I went to the shop to get some clarification, Blake, had to find our records. When I asked him what number we were in line to get built he said 15/15. Mind you we put in a deposit a month earlier. At least I can be #10. I kindly asked for a refund. This was not the business we wanted to pursue if it was going to continue this way. Blake felt the need to blame us why we weren't in line yet. Sir pick one. These guys are awesome! I went to 5 different shops before finding this place and everybody is low on stock due to COVID, but this shop had more inventory than all the others. That's not the reason I'm writing this review. This shop is run by a family and they're busy, but busy for good reason. Scott and Blake went out of their way to answer all the questions I had and their father Bill who supports the operation helped to answer any questions I had while those guys were tied-up. I browsed the shop and was able to decide what I wanted the first day and was then able to work with Scott to get my cart in based on their previously scheduled inventory deliveries. I honestly can't say enough about these guys and am definitely happy with the experience I had. Anyone in the cart market right now has to understand that orders and service are seriously backed-up by our current situation and I did see people at the dealership frustrated about inventory or delays, but I can guarantee if you will can be understanding and work with these guys you won't get a better price or customer service. i can not begin to tell you how furious i am. this cart we bought at the end of june has worked 2x since we have had it. ended up taking it back and this shop had it 6 weeks then. they had a bad battery in it and told us that if that didn't work then they would do something else. yes, right n ow i am furious especially since we went to load it up in our toy hauler after it being with them for 6 weeks and the thing doesn't work again. we want our money back. this is ridiculous. i am so angry. let's hope they make this right and immediately. i am tired of them taking their time fixing stuff. above and beyond furious right now. Called this morning and told them that we were at the point that we want the cart purchased back. I explained the situation on where they have had the cart as long as we have. I ended up purchasing a 2016 Yamaha 48 volt which was refurbished to new condition, new body, lift, new wheels and tires, new extended roof, new batteries, etc. Both Scott and Blake were very informative and easy going. I had specific requirements and they were extremely flexible and able to meet them all, even after I picked it up and noticing I needed one additional requirement they were willing to address it immediately to ensure they met my timeline. I drove up to Ennis to ask about the issue, and Scott, being as busy as he is, helped me solve my issue.
