I am actually going to give ENLY 4 stars, higher than its current average rating! But you should understand what you're going to receive before coming here. It is a very very good cream-top coffee latte! It is on the sweeter side, and once the cream top is mixed in the latte's consistently is satisfyingly thick and tasty. But it is EXPENSIVE. A price of $10.50 (The price of a chipotle bowl) for A SINGLE DRINK, not to mention a latte, had my friend's jaw drop. It is truly very expensive for a single drink, $10.50 is a very sizable charge. The question also stands, what exactly is a tiramisu latte? Tiramisu tastes like espresso, coffee tastes like espresso, it seems like adding the "tiramisu" descriptor implies... a Mascarpone flavor? That is completely fine, but if such is the case there was not enough noticeable Mascarpone flavor to justify naming it the "Tiramisu Latte", it felt like the name was just marketing to have a popular dessert everyone loves as a buzzword in the drink title and on the menu. All in all, it would feel wrong to give it less than 4 stars because the cream top coffee is really good, but it is expensive and naming the latte a "Tiramisu Latte" is kind of misleading. read more

Very mid tiramisu latte for $12+. I went with 2 other people who all got the same thing and we all were underwhelmed. I ended up having to toss half of it - my stomach also had a pretty bad reaction to it, so idk if the barista gave me whole milk instead of oat or maybe they use artificial sweeteners since those two things tend to mess up my stomach. Cute place to stop by for a drink and some photos, but overall I probably wouldn't come back. The drinks are pretty overpriced for what they were. I ordered the Tiramisu Matcha ($12) and wasn't quite sure what made it "tiramisu" besides the cold foam and a bit of espresso sprinkled on top. The matcha itself was decent, same for their tiramisu coffee ($11). The foam was super thick so I'd recommend to mix it before drinking. The shop itself is very small with limited seating, though the line moved relatively quickly even with only one barista and one cashier. Not a great cafe to get work/study done or for large groups. It's a nice aesthetic spot, but the drinks and service didn't quite match the price. read more

Recently had a day off from work and was in the city wandering in SoHo. As I passed Enly I saw there was no line and decided this was the time to try the viral tiramisu latte. Once I ordered I sat down on one of the benches in the front of the store. As far as presentation goes, it was top notch. While the drink was definitely a sweet one, the marscapone top was the perfect touch. Would I order again? Maybe, but I think I would go for the tiramisu matcha. read more

They need more than one barista working here bc the place gets busy and the drinks take time to make, so the wait was very, very long even though the queue didn't look that long. this place is priced OUTRAGEOUSLY i cannot believe there was a line or any hype about this store. this matcha latte tiramisu (just a plain matcha latte with thick cream on top) is $14 - and this was one of the cheaper drinks. the strawberry ones were $15+ and i was so shocked how bad the matcha was! cannot taste matcha whatsoever, only the almond milk. and when you try to sip it from the cup, the cream is way too thick and the matcha comes above the cream it's kind of impossible to get both in one sip. read more

Enly in SoHo became one of our favorite coffee spots during our trip--we actually came back multiple times because the drinks were that good. On our first visit, we tried the blueberry matcha and the banana matcha. Both were super flavorful and smooth, though I was hoping the drinks would have more of that seafoam texture on top rather than being fully mixed in. Still, they were refreshing and fun to try. After finishing the banana, we grabbed the iced tiramisu matcha, which ended up being the highlight drink of the place. We had the hot tiramisu matcha earlier in the trip and already loved it, but the iced version was even better--creamy, bold, and perfectly balanced. Before heading out of NYC, we came back for one last tiramisu matcha--just had to end on a good note. Only downside is the price point--it's definitely on the higher end for matcha, so not the most budget-friendly, but the quality and flavors do deliver. Also, a fun detail: there's sometimes a Mercedes parked right outside the shop that feels like it fits the whole clean, elevated vibe of Enly. I've been wanting to check out this boutique coffee shop! My busy work schedule kept me from visiting sooner but I finally made time for myself and took a trip here! Every successful coffee shop has character and Enly's is no exception, you can tell Enly truly takes pride at her work and stands behind her beloved coffee shop. Located on Mott street, as I walked in, I was welcomed by the store owner and not only was she personable, but she also made myself and the people waiting behind me, all the drinks herself! Since this was my first time, I decided to stick to my go-to coffee which was, black cold brew. Nice and strong, and enough to make me jumpy enough to conquer my fast paced workday! - I'm saving the iced tiramisu coffee when I'm completely free from work, where I can truly enjoy it! Enly is a very cute, very small coffee shop. They have lots of interesting and unique drinks, but they are popular for their tiramisu latte. Honestly, it was a good drink but I didn't really get a strong tiramisu flavor, which is what I'd hoped for. It tasted more like a sweetened latte. Also, it was $12! The staff are really friendly. There are only a few seats inside, so this is not really a cafe to sit in. read more

Matcha sounded like a fantastic idea after lunch on a Sunday afternoon. My friends and I were nearby, and one of them had Enly on her list to check out. The cafe is pretty cramped and there was a short-ish line to order. While waiting in line, a friend exclaimed, "Wait... is that double digits for most of the matcha lattes?" Yes, and there was even a matcha latte for 14.50, which is crazy. But we decided to stay in line since we were already here (which is on us). Fortunately, drinks came out pretty quickly and the weather was nice enough for us to enjoy them outside on the metal benches. BLUEBERRY FIELDS MATCHA - 12 You can only get this drink iced. The aesthetic of the drink is very pretty with the matcha green on top, milk in between and blueberry compote on the bottom. A hot drink would most certainly cover up this gradient with a paper cup! It's all about aesthetics and not so much about the taste. The blueberry compote did not blend well with the rest of the drink, which became a gloopy and chunky mixture. The drink itself was OK and definitely not worth paying the amount for. I'm mad at myself for buying a drink here. I should've known better. The drinks at Enly is all about the aesthetics. I don't think the quality or quantity is worth the price they charge here. Truly daylight robbery. It was pretty disappointing, and I would not recommend the matcha here. read more

The tiramisu cream on top cannot be made dairy free but the coffee can be. Personally, I'd rather go out and get a coffee with a tiramisu. Happy I got to try this viral latte but would not be back. I kept seeing the tiramisu latte all over social media. When I saw the reviews I was conflicted. I decided to judge for myself. Now I get it. The latte was good, not great, not bad, just good. $12.50 is ridiculous for this drink though. Minus one star for this price. The latte itself doesn't actually taste like tiramisu, minus one star for false advertising. The place is tiny so you can't really sit inside it's more of a to-go coffee establishment. Service was good and friendly, no complaints here. But I wouldn't come back because the taste is nothing special and the prices are a joke here. read more

TLDR: Great service, good coffee, good vibes and yes get the tiramisu foam its worth it. I did in fact see this from Game on Tik Tok saying you have to try the tiramisu. Well he's lucky that 1. I love this part of SoHo so I would've been in the area regardless, but 2. naturally bad for my wallet. It is such a chill vibe in Enly! I was chatting with the barista so I didn't take a photo of the menu but they had a unique array of matcha's which actually made me incredibly indecisive ironically so I opted for their special - it was a iced espresso with the cream on top situation I can't recall all of it. The coffee was excellent! And the cream is to die for. If all cold foam was like this I'd understand the obsession. If franchises had a hold on this it'd be a wrap, so love to support a business for this kind of quality and uniqueness! read more

The staff was very chaotic and kept losing track of orders and giving people the wrong drinks, and there was a lot of tension between the employees during that period so it was not a good vibe. Ahhh I'm sorry but Enly is overrated. Came for the hot chocolate tiramisu and well it was just hot chocolate that was mid with a sneeze of delicious mascarpone whipped cream on top. I think it would've been so much better if there had been a touch of coffee to bring together the tiramisu elements but because the hot chocolate failed to stand on its own I don't think that addition would've done much. I make better hot chocolate at home. I've very very serious about my hot chocolate . And for twelve bucks--nope. read more

i was extremely disappointed, i got the strawberry matcha and the ratio was completely off. wayyyy too much jam and not enough matcha. it tasted more like strawberry milk than a matcha latte. the strawberry jam is house made and tastes like fresh strawberries though so the drink was still solid but overall just was a complete disappointment in the matcha category. a plus is they provide lots of milk options and creative drinks. staff are nice but seating is limited and the line can get insane. service once you order is speedy though. inside gets packed so it's not that nice to drink your beverage there. read more

Enly is a vibe! The interior is thoughtfully laid out with cozy lighting. There's a small seating area inside. Would be great to sit and chat with a friend if you're able to snag a seat. Aside from normal espresso drinks, they also offer matcha and fruit flavored coffee drinks. Not many shops are able to pull off fruit coffee, but Enly does a great job with their strawberry puree and banana drinks. I might just be numb to NYC pricing, but the quality of Enly's fruit drinks warranted the price (comparatively). One drink did come out to $14 though lol. read more

The interior itself is antique, quaint, and there's minimal (but some!) seating for you to enjoy your tea at. One of my favorite parts of this shop is that their tea menu is all around the shop, right on their walls. So, you walk around the shop, look at the different teas (organized by type, caffinated/non-caffinated), smell them, and read the labels. I had a lot of fun doing this! Their prices are good and their teas are amazing. Definitely a cool experience!

The matcha cream is the right amount of sweet and creamy and you can taste the matcha with just a hint of coffee. Next time I would ask for less ice since it was freezing that morning, but on a warmer day the ice level would be perfect.
