I popped in here as I was walking around the area and in need of a cold drink. It's a pretty small space with some seating at the front, but no bathrooms or WiFi (in case that's important to know). They have a wide variety of coffee and matcha drinks to choose from (including many speciality drinks). The service was good, but there was a small wait. I got a matcha with lavender syrup and it was okay--didn't really taste the lavender and the matcha was lacking flavor. I don't know that I would go out of my way to come here again.
Went to Enly for a morning pick-me-up and decided to try the strawberry matcha since I've seen so much hype around it. It was pretty good! I really enjoyed the flavor of the strawberry purée -- it wasn't just a syrup or artificial flavoring; there were actual strawberry bits throughout, which added a nice touch. I also liked the cream on top. It was very light and mixed really well with the drink. Overall, I really enjoyed it, but I'd give it 4/5 stars mainly because of the price. The drink was $15, which is probably the most expensive matcha I've ever had. I wouldn't say it fully justified the price, but it was still a great drink overall.
Genuinely so surprised to see the reviews because I had such a great experience here! The barista was delightful and very helpful in choosing a drink. The cinnamon roll latte was delicious, will be back to try their famous tiramisu
I have been looking for a good sweet cream matcha in the city. I paid $15 for this one! At first I thought it tasted bad because I was shocked by the price, but after some time (or maybe it just mixed in) it was good. Still, not 15$ good! I got the strawberry shortcake matcha ($14 without tax). It was beautiful, but I can and have easily made this at home. If the price was justified by at least the vibe or service, then maybe I would understand. The service was very slow and not very nice & the inside itself is very small - so nothing to really speak of.
Ordered: Iced Tiramisu Latte (~$11) Aya's take: Enly has gone viral over and over again, and I have yet to try it until now! There was a line (of course) and it moved rather slowly. I think I waited ~20 minutes with 10 people in front of me. However, once I ordered, my drink was ready almost immediately! I got the Iced Tiramisu Latte and honestly they did their big one! The tiramisu cream is the best version I've had at any coffee shop! The latte itself was pretty well-balanced between the espresso, milk, and tiramisu flavor. It wasn't overly sweet but definitely leans on the dessert side for a coffee drink. I also love their logo & cups! Such a small detail but it makes a big difference. If I'm in the area again and the lines are short, I'd absolutely come back and try something else.
Best Matcha spot in New York! Service was great. Ambience was amazing. Hubby said he loved the Matcha and he usually doesn't even drink Matcha lol.
Very mid tiramisu latte for $12+. I went with 2 other people who all got the same thing and we all were underwhelmed. I ended up having to toss half of it - my stomach also had a pretty bad reaction to it, so idk if the barista gave me whole milk instead of oat or maybe they use artificial sweeteners since those two things tend to mess up my stomach. The cafe is super cube and vibey though!
Enly left me a bit conflicted. I ordered the tiramisu latte and was honestly surprised by how expensive it was. That said, the drink itself tasted great. The only thing that threw me off was how thick the cream/foam were. It made the drink harder to actually sip, especially since it was served hot and there was no straw. At times it felt like I needed a spoon more than anything. While I did enjoy it, the pricing makes it hard to justify coming here regularly. This feels more like an occasional treat rather than a go-to coffee spot.
Recently had a day off from work and was in the city wandering in SoHo. As I passed Enly I saw there was no line and decided this was the time to try the viral tiramisu latte. Once I ordered I sat down on one of the benches in the front of the store. As far as presentation goes, it was top notch. While the drink was definitely a sweet one, the marscapone top was the perfect touch. Would I order again? Maybe, but I think I would go for the tiramisu matcha.
The prices??? No way. I would love to try this place, but their prices are absolutely insane and it's not gonna happen. $10+ for one small drink - I'm smarter than that. If they can come back to reality and quit overcharging I'd give em a go.
Cute place to stop by for a drink and some photos, but overall I probably wouldn't come back. The drinks are pretty overpriced for what they were. I ordered the Tiramisu Matcha ($12) and wasn't quite sure what made it "tiramisu" besides the cold foam and a bit of espresso sprinkled on top. The matcha itself was decent, same for their tiramisu coffee ($11). The foam was super thick so I'd recommend to mix it before drinking. The shop itself is very small with limited seating, though the line moved relatively quickly even with only one barista and one cashier. Not a great cafe to get work/study done or for large groups. It's a nice aesthetic spot, but the drinks and service didn't quite match the price.
Meh. Tiny coffee shop unabashedly selling strawb matcha for $13 it tasted very milky. Cups premade with ice laying out on the counter bc only one barista working and it was a little busy. Not my fave but I would try the tiramisu next time.
I've heard a lot about this place and their specialty dessert lattes, so wanted to give this place a try. They need more than one barista working here bc the place gets busy and the drinks take time to make, so the wait was very, very long even though the queue didn't look that long. And I went at an off peak time (weekday afternoon). The tiramisu latte was good, but not worth the wait.
Even though ENLY Coffee Boutique has been open for 4 years and I visit NYC often, I had never heard of it until my son told me about it. Definitely worth the visit! It's such a small, quaint spot, and the 2 lovely girls working there were so nice and friendly. Their single-origin coffee from Colombia was incredibly smooth and delicious. My son ordered an espresso, which was also very good, and the strawberry matcha with cold foam was an absolute 11/10! There isn't much room to sit down and eat, but it's a great place to grab coffee to go. I would absolutely come back! read more

What really makes a Tiramisu Latte specifically tiramisu? Every latte already has the coffee element... I think its the mascarpone element from the cream top but at that point its just a Einspanner. Probably just a marketing thing. I think the coffee drink was quite good and I finished my drink! But charging $12 for a coffee is absolutely outrageous and it needed to seriously knock my socks off or be one of the top 3 latte's I've ever had to be worth it. The price drops it to 4/5, if this Tiramisu Latte was $8.50 or less it would have been 5/5. read more

Enly was an okay stop overall. I came mainly to try the mascarpone in the coffee, and the mascarpone itself was really good and added a nice touch. The coffee, though, was just okay in my opinion. Still worth trying if you're curious about the mascarpone experience. read more
ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED! The blueberry shortcake one was my favorite, had it with oat milk. Place is small but cute, staff is fast and nice. Is it a drink to get everyday? Not necessarily, it's $16 but is it worth it as a treat? Yes! read more
this place is priced OUTRAGEOUSLY i cannot believe there was a line or any hype about this store. this matcha latte tiramisu (just a plain matcha latte with thick cream on top) is $14 - and this was one of the cheaper drinks. the strawberry ones were $15+ and i was so shocked how bad the matcha was! cannot taste matcha whatsoever, only the almond milk. and when you try to sip it from the cup, the cream is way too thick and the matcha comes above the cream it's kind of impossible to get both in one sip. read more

I saw Enly all over TikTok and decided to check it out while I was in SoHo to see if it really lived up to the hype. The space itself is cute and aesthetic, definitely designed for social media moments but when it comes to the actual drinks, I have to say I was underwhelmed. I tried the viral iced tiramisu latte that everyone's been raving about, and honestly, it was nothing to write home about. The coffee itself was just okay, but the mascarpone cream they put on top? That was the star it was rich, fluffy, and absolutely heavenly. I could eat that by the spoonful! In fact, I decided to return a second time just to give it another chance and asked for extra mascarpone cream this time After trying it again, though, I can confidently say it's not worth the hype. It's cute for a one time visit if you're curious or want a social media worthy photo, but the drinks are overpriced for what you get. Definitely not a spot I'd go out of my way to return to. read more

i got the tiramisu matcha, which was absolutely delicious & actually tasted like tiramisu. it came at a steep price point of almost $14, so this was more of a one-time treat. however, the mascarpone cream was the star of the drink & unlike any other cream top i've tried! i tried a sip of the strawberry matcha, which was good but comparable to other cheaper strawberry matcha drinks in the city. the interior of the store is quite narrow & there's limited indoor / outdoor seating! if you're going to splurge on a drink at this price point, might as well pay a bit extra for the mascarpone cream -- i promise you won't regret it. read more
Enly in SoHo became one of our favorite coffee spots during our trip--we actually came back multiple times because the drinks were that good. On our first visit, we tried the blueberry matcha and the banana matcha. Both were super flavorful and smooth, though I was hoping the drinks would have more of that seafoam texture on top rather than being fully mixed in. Still, they were refreshing and fun to try. After finishing the banana, we grabbed the iced tiramisu matcha, which ended up being the highlight drink of the place. We had the hot tiramisu matcha earlier in the trip and already loved it, but the iced version was even better--creamy, bold, and perfectly balanced. Before heading out of NYC, we came back for one last tiramisu matcha--just had to end on a good note. Only downside is the price point--it's definitely on the higher end for matcha, so not the most budget-friendly, but the quality and flavors do deliver. Also, a fun detail: there's sometimes a Mercedes parked right outside the shop that feels like it fits the whole clean, elevated vibe of Enly. If you're in SoHo and into unique matcha drinks with style, this place is definitely worth a stop. read more
I've been wanting to check out this boutique coffee shop! My busy work schedule kept me from visiting sooner but I finally made time for myself and took a trip here! Every successful coffee shop has character and Enly's is no exception, you can tell Enly truly takes pride at her work and stands behind her beloved coffee shop. Located on Mott street, as I walked in, I was welcomed by the store owner and not only was she personable, but she also made myself and the people waiting behind me, all the drinks herself! Since this was my first time, I decided to stick to my go-to coffee which was, black cold brew. Nice and strong, and enough to make me jumpy enough to conquer my fast paced workday! - I'm saving the iced tiramisu coffee when I'm completely free from work, where I can truly enjoy it! The store also sells wonderful candles and I can't wait to come back! read more

Overrated, overpriced, and rude staff. I've had extremely better coffees at places for half the price. Barely any flavor, not to mention the dismissing barista at the counter. read more
Enly is a very cute, very small coffee shop. They have lots of interesting and unique drinks, but they are popular for their tiramisu latte. Honestly, it was a good drink but I didn't really get a strong tiramisu flavor, which is what I'd hoped for. It tasted more like a sweetened latte. Also, it was $12! The staff are really friendly. There are only a few seats inside, so this is not really a cafe to sit in. read more
Matcha sounded like a fantastic idea after lunch on a Sunday afternoon. My friends and I were nearby, and one of them had Enly on her list to check out. The cafe is pretty cramped and there was a short-ish line to order. While waiting in line, a friend exclaimed, "Wait... is that double digits for most of the matcha lattes?" Yes, and there was even a matcha latte for 14.50, which is crazy. But we decided to stay in line since we were already here (which is on us). Fortunately, drinks came out pretty quickly and the weather was nice enough for us to enjoy them outside on the metal benches. BLUEBERRY FIELDS MATCHA - 12 You can only get this drink iced. The aesthetic of the drink is very pretty with the matcha green on top, milk in between and blueberry compote on the bottom. A hot drink would most certainly cover up this gradient with a paper cup! It's all about aesthetics and not so much about the taste. The blueberry compote did not blend well with the rest of the drink, which became a gloopy and chunky mixture. The drink itself was OK and definitely not worth paying the amount for. I'm mad at myself for buying a drink here. I should've known better. The drinks at Enly is all about the aesthetics. I don't think the quality or quantity is worth the price they charge here. Truly daylight robbery. It was pretty disappointing, and I would not recommend the matcha here. read more

The Tiramisu Latte was life changing! The mascarpone topping is just sweet enough to cut through the coffee without taking over the flavor profile. I still think of this drink regularly. Ambiance inside is modern and intimate. read more
The shop is small, and the service was fast. There is very limited seating in the front. I got the tiramisu latte which was good, on the sweeter side, but not worth the price. The banana latte wasn't sweet enough for my friend but the worker was able to add sweetener to it. read more
I came to New York excited to try new coffee spots, and after seeing Enly on TikTok I decided to check it out. I ordered the tiramisu latte, and while it tasted good once I mixed it thoroughly, I can't say it was worth the $12 price tag. Honestly, I've never seen drinks priced that high before, and the entire menu was just as expensive. Overall, it was an interesting experience but definitely overpriced for what you get. read more

Coffee and matcha were both terrible. We ordered lattes that were $13 each and they were both so bad. Burnt espresso, matcha out of a spout, and bad banana flavoring. I'd strongly recommend going elsewhere. read more

We tried the viral tiramisu iced latte, it was a good coffee but not as sweet as we expected. I didn't really taste tiramisu, but the look was cute. However, the banana iced latte was amazing. It was sweet and light with lives of banana inside, which may not sound appealing, but it was the perfect pick me up/refreshment I needed it while walking around the city! There was a bit of a line, but it moves so fast, the team really has efficiency down to a T (: read more

to be honest i was very disappointed although the presentation was nice. i literally paid $15 for a cup of thick strawberry milk with way too much purée and zero matcha flavor whatsoever. The cream was the only good part but the prices are outrageous, don't come here unless you want to get scammed. read more

I was looking forward to coming to this place. I had high hopes but the drinks weren't it. I ordered their strawberry fields matcha and it was very mid and for being 12 dollars not worth it. My sister got a coffee drink and she also didn't like hers. Aside from that the place is very cute and staff were friendly. read more
