She proceeded to take me to a frigid room, where she asked "what do you want." I told her I was four months postpartum and wanted a massage preferably laying on my side or back, to which she told me "I am not trained to do massages on the side or back" and stated she had the client face down the entire time. Having had massages done for over 20 years, I have never heard of a masseuse who is hired untrained to perform massages unless the client is solely on the back. Nor have I heard of a spa who books massages without specifying that the masseuse may be unable to do a massage at all if you are unable to lie on your stomach after you inform them you are postnatal from a c section. After I told her I guess I would cancel the massage because she kept shrugging stonefaced while telling me "I just can't do it," she promptly left the room and began gossiping with another masseuse down the hall. I literally had to call out after her "can you at least show me the way out?" given the lack of exit signs in Spavia's dark hallway. Caitlin rolled her eyes and sarcastically asked "you are not going to change into your clothes?" and I told her I needed the locker room. She wordlessly showed me the way before rolling her eyes again and stalking off. Please avoid booking with this woman Caitlyn and Spavia in general. Also, Caitlin came to collect me at 12:59pm (though I could hear her chatting with someone in the hallway well before then) so that my 1:00pm appointment time could start ticking away while she led me to the room, did intake, have me get ready, etc. No waiver or paperwork regarding massage goals was done at all, though it is unlikely she would have reviewed it anyway. I would also avoid this Spavia location for safety reasons.

There is about a 2 cm burned area in the lateral corner above my eye where the superficial layer of the skin was completely ripped off. When I spoke to the manager, Aliyah and Nikki (another waxer) came out of nowhere and were incredibly rude and dismissive. They insulted me and accused me of lying about my skin care routine. Ashley, the manager, was nice and did her best to damage control, she refunded my wax and returned my tip. Truthfully Aliyah did a terrible job and her attitude on top of it was unacceptable. Nikki also needs an attitude check. Would not recommend going to either of them.

I was referred to Jen from a previous bride/friend for my wedding in May 2015. I am so happy I…read morewent with her. She was honest about what would work with my skin, I have very dry skin, and also the color palettes that I chose. I asked for her opinions and we compromised, I trusted her since she was the expert. I had my trial at her home office and fell in love with the look she created for me. It was very soft and romantic but bold enough to last me through the entire night. I had to go out afterwards, and received so many compliments. We had two separate ceremonies when the wedding came, we had a tea ceremony as well as a traditional wedding. She created two unique looks for both days since my outfits were also very different. I had the best experience with her. She is laid back but very professional. My bridal party all loved their look as well and even through the heat during our photography sessions, our make up stayed put! It was about 85-90 degrees that day and I was impressed that our look did not melt off by then. She made jokes and helped keep me entertained the whole morning during prep. Her prices were fair, and included lashes, which you think you never need but you must. I personally did not get them because I got extensions, but everyone else did. She and her team mate finished my party of myself, 6 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, 1 grandmother and a number of other people that wanted make up just as guests in a very efficient and well paced manner. I would not hesitate to recommend to any other bride. I had two make up trials before this and I was not as excited until Jen did my make up. I am asian also and I feel like a lot of make up artists are not as diverse. The previous two make up artist did not play with my features correctly and did a standard application of make up. Jen took the time to study my face and really bring out the best parts. I will probably be using her for other events to come! Thanks again for making my day perfect!

I researched a hydra facial on line and was given Revamp as a provider. I made my appointment and had a absolutely fabulous service provided by Eileen. She not only provided great care but also gave me great aftercare instructions. Unfortunately thats where the good experience ends. When it came time to pay I was charged $50 more for the procedure. The website stated $99 and I was charged $150. The management was not there so I paid the extra $50 because I didn't want to give Eileen who was so wonderful a hard time. I came home and wrote a glowing email about my service and then addressed my pricing issue and asked for some compensation in my next appointment. No response. I called to day to actually book another appointment with eileen and got Dawn, who I believe is the spa manager/Dr.s Wife. I explained again and she said. Im not even gonna lie. Im a busy mom with 4 kids and I can't be expected to keep up with everything. I said ok well what will we be doing about this? And she said "I don't know What do you want from me? " I again stated that I wanted to come back to Eileen but I wanted some sort of compensation in my next appointment. (Note: I tend to be aggressive in my speak, so made it a point to sound calm and unbothered. ) She then said I don't know theres plenty of of other spas in the area, you can certainly go to them. At that point I hung up. After reading several review, it seems that this is par for the course at revamp. It truly is such a shame because Eileen was so professional and does wonderful work. MY hope for her is that she moves on and finds a employer who values both their staff and their clients. In the words of Dawn "theres plenty of other spas in the area, maybe you should go there"
