Had that package for 60 days & opened it yesterday- the day before the Alice in Wonderland Scavenger Hunt. First off- I ordered an XL size. The package said Large & the costume was actually a Medium. And then- it didn't come with the neck lace ruffle AND the mini mad hat! So, here I am- in an absolute frenzy because the rest of my team are all in character! I didn't wanna let me team down & there just wasn't enough time to order from Amazon & have same day delivery. I was super surprised at what the Party City location had AVAILABLE- even though I had to change my character to Tweedle Dee! Always a one stop shop at Party City! Come on in and see the inventory!

My husband Bought me a cat accessory the day be for yesterday. Wasn't the right one. Came in the next day to return it ( never been used, never opened, still in perfect condition). To my surprise, one of the managers helping me said this type of accessory is non refundable (even though on the receipt it says that it is...) I asked if I could have info. To get hold of their district manager. Would not give me anything. So, I called guest services and explained the situation. They tried to call the store, they wouldn't answer. Guest services ask that I email them my receipt and pictures of the items. So I did. Guest services then emails me back later that day saying "after speaking with the district store manager , it seems there may have been a misunderstanding regarding the condition of the item" and if I could provide more pictures.... I was so surprised because when I went in to turn in the item, the condition of the item was not even a conversation I had with two managers there, they both just looked at it and automatically said no, non refundable because they said these types of items are hard to sell... Cat ears, tail, and choker, in perfect condition and they don't want to refund me the item when on the receipt it saids they accept refunds, depending on condition of item with receipt until Oct.18th... Someone at that store is either lying and scamming customers from returning certain items... This is not ok. Thankfully after speaking with guest services I was able to return this item and receive a refund. So I will continue my business with this establishment because the guest services were very helpful and gave me great customer service and support and made up for the awful customer service I received from management yesterday.

We mostly just walked around but some of the workers really helped us find stuff. My most memorable moment was when my dad found his Punisher costume. It was on a mannequin so we asked where they had the rest. Unfortunately they didn't have any more so we asked what the size was on the one on the mannequin. To our luck it happened to be my dad's size! The worker took it to the back so my dad could try it on. While we waited for my dad to finish, the worker and I had a very amusing conversation. She was so funny and talkative I felt like I had known her for longer than the 30 minutes we were there! 'Twas a great place and I'd really like to go back!

You will find everything that you need in every Christmas color. I LOVE IT HERE. The cons were that the checkout lines went to the back of the store...all of them. There were about 6 checkout lines but it was ridiculously packed here. They may need to expand their store into the old Party City Storefront next door to address the customer base and needs. The only other Hobby Lobby Locations in SD County that I know of are La Mesa and Mira Mesa besides this Chula Vista location. We decided to leave and try to come back another day when it was less crowded. Overall this store had so many great things but the lines were taking 35min to 45+mins to checkout. That is a long time standing.
