If this is the store that's located at the Westfield Plaza Bonita mall that's in a white tent, I would have not given any stars! My husband Bought me a cat accessory the day be for yesterday. Wasn't the right one. Came in the next day to return it ( never been used, never opened, still in perfect condition). To my surprise, one of the managers helping me said this type of accessory is non refundable (even though on the receipt it says that it is...) I asked if I could have info. To get hold of their district manager. Would not give me anything. So, I called guest services and explained the situation. They tried to call the store, they wouldn't answer. Guest services ask that I email them my receipt and pictures of the items. So I did. Guest services then emails me back later that day saying "after speaking with the district store manager , it seems there may have been a misunderstanding regarding the condition of the item" and if I could provide more pictures.... I was so surprised because when I went in to turn in the item, the condition of the item was not even a conversation I had with two managers there, they both just looked at it and automatically said no, non refundable because they said these types of items are hard to sell... Cat ears, tail, and choker, in perfect condition and they don't want to refund me the item when on the receipt it saids they accept refunds, depending on condition of item with receipt until Oct.18th... Someone at that store is either lying and scamming customers from returning certain items... This is not ok. Thankfully after speaking with guest services I was able to return this item and receive a refund. So I will continue my business with this establishment because the guest services were very helpful and gave me great customer service and support and made up for the awful customer service I received from management yesterday. read more

I bought two costumes. One for my daughter and one for my son. My daughter's costume came with two left hand gloves and my son's costume was missing accessories. We had to wait outside in line approximately 25 minutes before they let us in to the store. Prices were more expensive than on Amazon. read more

The Halloween season is upon us. Half this store is basically adult themed costumes. They appear to run pricey with some of them up to $50. But they are fairly good quality material from what I observed. The other half are kid costumes and various accessories as well. Went to the location, the young man by the dressing room was not helpful nor polite, however the lady who appeared to be more of a leader and professional who came as I was trying on my first pirate costume was very helpful. She checked on me, excused herself when she went to help another customer and even came back to make sure I didn't need anything else. Gave me a couple great suggestions for my Pirate Costume and thanked me for coming in. I got to the register there was an older gentleman who appeared to be the owner possibly, and he asked how was my service, thanked me for coming in and that he hopes to see me again. I get it, it's Halloween and it's craziness everywhere. I haven't been to this location in years but came last min shopping for a Ninja Costume. And let me tell you, that shit sucked. Everyone told me this short blonde girl was the manager and I walked up to her and said "excuse me" and she look right me in the face and turned around and ignored me. And she continued to talk to her co worker or employee. I said "excuse me" again to her and she finally turned around and while she was she was exposing her chest and putting her phone in her bra and rolled her eyes and says with attitude "can I help you" and I asked if she had any Ninja costumes and she said "not sure you will have to go look for your self some where over there". Let me tell you I was fucking amazed that a manger or even a worker said that. Dude it's your store you need to know where everything is and set up, wtf is wrong with you. Ruby who was in charge of the fitting rooms was extremely rude. I walked up to the fitting room so my son could try on some costumes and she was on the phone and said that she could not help me because she was on break. I walked myself into the fitting room and said I didn't have time to wait and she got upset and snatched the costumes right out of my hands and said I was being rude. She then took all 3 costumes I was going to try on and said to go get them back myself. She then told the person on the phone that she had to go because I was being rude in Spanish thinking that I didn't understand. Very unprofessional. We went here after having a terrible experience at Party City on Highland in National City. They had a really good selection of costumes in stock and it was easy to navigate through the store. We found my son's costume in a matter of a few minutes and did not have to wait in an assembly line like Party City to retrieve the costume or to try it on! The workers there were happy and very helpful throughout the store although there was no air conditioning in the tent. That's the only reason for the one less star in the review. If you are going to go here, go on a cooler day so you can spend more time browsing around because there is a lot of cool stuff in this store. I paid the average 39.99 for my son's costume which was the same price at Party City but again LESS TROUBLE! I totally recommend this store for Halloween Costumes and I didn't know this till I got home, go online and print off a discount coupon before you go! :-) read more
