Horrible experience. I walked in for my son's hearing test after he did not pass his screening at his PCP during his annual physical. I was specifically told we were being referred because he has allergies and possible fluid buildup, and that this office could address that.
They completed the hearing test, and everything initially seemed fine--until immediately afterward, when the provider casually asked, "So which hearing aid would you like?" I was completely blindsided. There was no explanation of the results, no medical discussion, and no confirmation that a hearing aid was actually necessary.
What made this even more concerning was that she repeatedly asked my child which hearing aid he wanted while I was still trying to process the situation. It felt rushed, sales-driven, and focused on billing insurance rather than patient care.
When I became emotional and started crying out of shock and concern--as any parent would--I was told that I was wrong for reacting and that I "shouldn't react that way." The lack of empathy was unacceptable.
To make matters worse, after I left the office visibly distraught, no one ever followed up with me--no phone call, no message, no attempt to clarify, explain, or check on my child. That alone speaks volumes about the level of care and professionalism.
I left feeling misled, unheard, and deeply disappointed. I would not recommend this office to any parent seeking compassionate, patient-centered care for their child. read more
