Frankly, the scheduling process feels automated and impersonal, almost as though you're communicating with an AI assistant rather than an actual person. My biggest disappointment came recently when my hearing aids failed and I returned to purchase a new pair. After receiving his quote, I decided to do some research and speak with other hearing care providers in the area. I was shocked to discover that his pricing was nearly double what other providers were quoting for comparable hearing aids. As a longtime patient, I trusted that I was receiving fair and competitive pricing. Unfortunately, this experience has significantly eroded that trust. Hearing aids are a major financial investment, and patients should feel confident that they are receiving both quality care and reasonable pricing. What makes this particularly disappointing is that I had been a loyal patient for years and had even recommended his practice to others. My husband - musician ear plugs; me - swimming ear plugs. The procedure for getting molds of our ears made was fairly fast, not uncomfortable (just a slightly weird sensation), and the ear plugs were ready to pick up in 2 weeks. As someone who generally does not like having my ears plugged, these custom swim plugs (different colors too, to identify R and L!) have been a revelation. They are really snug and comfortable, don't fall out, don't let water in, allow me to still hear some sound, and I was told that they also float if they should fall into the pool. I haven't tested this. I highly recommend Soundscape Audiology! It was very easy to make appointments. When I called Hearing Science of Rancho Arcadia the woman who answered said she did not know but would call me back right away with the answer. In less than 5 minutes she did call me back and said it would cost $60.00. I went over right away. The technician in the shop fixed the hearing aid in less than 10 minutes and then told me it would cost $90.00. I explained that I had just been told it would be $60.00. She said, " no, if I was told that, it was a mistake. I was then charged $100. I don't remember if I was told it would be $10 more to use a credit card.

She lied to me about everything and had me wasting my time back and forth the office over the course of 3 months, about 18 times. I run a business and the last thing I needed to be doing was wasting my time with her inefficiency. She let my insurance know that she gave me better quality/expensive hearing aids to receive more money, but gave me low quality/cheap hearing aids, in turn, pocketing the rest of the money. She conducted FRAUD and ABUSED me as a client. She failed to demonstrate the skill and care I would expect from a specialist as herself. Wanda is an incredibly dishonest person and cares more about people's money than their health. Be careful with this place.
