We originally saw Dr. Camacho and she was very honest in her recommendations of hearing aids and did not push one brand over another and didn't try to sell us the most expensive one. She was even able to get us a discounted price for one of the high powered models. My mom had some problems with feedback issues, but Dr. Jensen, who we usually see now, was very helpful and continued to try different settings, ear molds, and small fixes until she got it right. I feel like they care for their patients here and do their best to help them maintain as much hearing as possible.

He's had the 'Lamborghini' of hearing aid and he's also tried mid level aids (as far as expense goes). Nothing worked well enough! Crowded places became a problem and eventually all situations became a battle to stay engaged in the conversation. My dad enjoyed nothing more than going to a bar and 'shooting the bull' with friends and family...We were losing my dad! My mom has Parkinson's and her voice is getting increasingly softer... making it very difficult for the two of them to communicate at all! My dad complained that he felt like the hearing aids 'plugged' his ears and not helped. He went often to get his ears cleaned in case that was the issue. We went to specialist at UCI and multiple hearing specialist with very little help. I did a deep google search for someone who could 'custom' fit hearing aids and found Dr. Ivory! From the minute I called the office and spoke to Dr. Ivory himself he was professional and realistic! He didn't guarantee a miracle but he did think he could help. We made an appointment and made the hour drive... it was worth it! He did tests that had not been done before at any of the facilities we had gone to previously! He stated 'it's unfortunate that you hadn't had these tests done, as they should be standard practice.' After testing and consulting we were given options of hearing aids... they are definitely not free but they do come with a trial basis to determine the efficacy! He followed up several times with my dad and continues to reach out and adjust things if need be! We are beyond grateful to have my dad back in the conversation and for him to hear my mom's voice again! Thank you!

The HEAR Center knew exactly what to do and got me an appointment immediately. I saw Dr. Arroyo and she is fantastic. She was attentive to my needs and understood my concerns. She provided me with options for hearing devices and listened to what my preferences are. She recommended the perfect ones. Upon receiving my hearing devices, she saw me frequently after the delivery to adjust the devices. She made sure I was comfortable with my aids and informed me to call her anytime I needed help with them. She answered all my concerns and questions. Gave them a chance because insurance covered it and they were open after work. After 2 sessions with our therapist Evelyn, he went from 0 to 100. His word bank and pronunciation grew so fast after a few months. Sadly COVID stopped in person sessions and we continued with online sessions. My husband - musician ear plugs; me - swimming ear plugs. The procedure for getting molds of our ears made was fairly fast, not uncomfortable (just a slightly weird sensation), and the ear plugs were ready to pick up in 2 weeks. As someone who generally does not like having my ears plugged, these custom swim plugs (different colors too, to identify R and L!) have been a revelation. They are really snug and comfortable, don't fall out, don't let water in, allow me to still hear some sound, and I was told that they also float if they should fall into the pool. I haven't tested this. I highly recommend Soundscape Audiology! It was very easy to make appointments. Dr Thakkar was great - he explained everything very clearly and we felt safe and assured throughout the whole process. Note: no credit card payment. We paid by venmo.

She lied to me about everything and had me wasting my time back and forth the office over the course of 3 months, about 18 times. I run a business and the last thing I needed to be doing was wasting my time with her inefficiency. She let my insurance know that she gave me better quality/expensive hearing aids to receive more money, but gave me low quality/cheap hearing aids, in turn, pocketing the rest of the money. She conducted FRAUD and ABUSED me as a client. She failed to demonstrate the skill and care I would expect from a specialist as herself. Wanda is an incredibly dishonest person and cares more about people's money than their health. Be careful with this place.
