I didn't really browse the clothing but I could tell that the things I saw looked well-made and fashionable. A quick check of the Frances Jaye website let me know that they appreciate and support sustainable and ethical brands, which is always awesome to see. The prices may be higher than your average mall, but you get what you pay for. They have men's and women's clothing, accessories, home goods, cards, books, and gift items. I particularly loved the Holland shirts that were modern and stylized. I ended up buying a fancy wick trimmer as we seem to have a surplus of candles these days, as well as two cute holiday cards featuring cat illustrations, because #crazycatlady I loved this little shop and will absolutely stop in every time I'm in the area!

They have amazing jewelry, clothes, and accessories here. I got a really cute star choker that I wear constantly. I always stop in this store when we're visiting downtown Holland but haven't been able to purchase anything else.

I find items I really love on nearly every rack and every table. This place is #stylegoals for me. I love their selections of jeans, shoes, shorts, dresses, accessories, locally-made earrings... it's just so fun to find a store where I feel like the owner/workers "get" my style and can offer so much. Also, the sales people are NICE! No attitude, just fun, helpful and friendly. I love this place! During the quarantine, I've had great success ordering online or for pickup. I burned almost all the way through my first hazelnut candle the first couple of days! Will def go back often.

An employee approached her and asked her to hand the jacket back, assuming it belonged to the store. It was HER OWN jacket! The arrogance, entitlement, and judgment displayed by this employee are beyond disturbing. This type of behavior comes across as discriminatory, condescending, and completely unprofessional. No customer should be singled out or made to feel like a thief simply because an employee makes an assumption. The sense of superiority and privilege reflected in this interaction is disgusting. Treating customers with suspicion rather than basic courtesy and respect speaks volumes about the level of customer service at this establishment. I sincerely hope management takes this seriously. No one should have to explain or defend ownership of their personal belongings while shopping. Every customer deserves to be treated with dignity, regardless of their appearance or background. Businesses that allow this kind of rude, judgmental, and degrading treatment should not expect customers to return. We certainly won't, and I would strongly discourage others from supporting an establishment where customers are treated this way.

Francesca's is one of my favorite chain stores, and this is one of my favorite locations (it's much…read moresunnier than most because it's in a boutique district, not a shopping mall, and the layout is bright and airy). When you hit a sale just right, there's no better bang for your apparel buck than Francesca's. Their clothes are priced to sell to begin with, so when they mark things half off and then have a buy-one, get-one sale on the clearance prices, you can score cute shirts for only a couple bucks or adorable dresses for single digits. I'm a huge sucker for color and hippie patterns and prints, so this is the store for me. They also tend to have awesomely friendly staff, which makes shopping there a pleasure. I've never seen this store be messy as so many chain store tend to be when items needing to be re-racked get piled up. Total class act!

Francesca's is one of my favorite stores & I always find cute clothes & nice sales associates! When I approached the counter, the sales associate was noticeably grimacing. When I told her (very nicely) good morning & that I had a few returns her response was "Oh, so you're returning everything you bought?" Yes ma'am, I'm returning 2 dresses I bought online because they didn't fit, and was stopping in to return & then shop for some other items. The entire transaction I felt like I was being absolutely outrageous & rude for making a return. Every single thing she said felt like a command and was not said in a tone that could remotely be considered kind. She did not wish me a good day, even when I (still nicely, somehow) said thank you. It was quite literally the worst experience I've ever had with a sales associate & ruined my day (dramatic, I know, but an ounce of respect would have been appreciated). I will absolutely return to Francesca's but absolutely not if I see this associate!
