Fun farm but when they have an event they make you park in a field that they haven't mowed in ages so you're driving and walking through grass taller than your knees. You'll probably pull ticks off your kids. read more

Its Fall! Its still early in the season but I was excited to get started. My husband had an errand in Cropseyville so I looked for something for us to do in the area. The farm has PYO raspberries, sunflowers, zinnias and pumpkins. There was also produce at a good price, cider donuts and local honey from the farm. Later in the season they have hayrides to a pumpkin patch and haunted hayrides. They also had a bunch of farm animals fenced in to see including pigs, ponies, a goat, a duck and a rooster. We were also greeted by the farm dogs when we arrived. All the staff was friendly and helpful. There was no entrance fee and all the items were priced very reasonably. I hope to go back later in the season to get our carving pumpkins. read more

Here is a cute farm. We went and picked sunflowers; checked out their large selection of unusual gourds and pumpkins; declined to pick raspberries but noted their brambles were covered in berries; talked with their friendly staff and played with their dog; and bet a few farm animals that can be reached through a low fence. However, it was hot on our September day and a toasty warm cider donut just didn't seem right. We had a good time exploring their vegetable cart too and picked out some nice produce to bring home. On a crisp fall day, it might be even more enjoyable. read more

This place is very awesome and there is a very big sweet brown dog named tootsie and she is very friendly I also really like their apple cider donuts. The service is good and Kaylin Engelke is very nice. There is very great ambiance there and lots of flowers everywhere and there is a fence with animals that is so cute!!!!!!!! read more

This place was absolutely outstanding! The farm is gorgeous, decorated beautifully for fall, and set up perfect for families or individuals wanting to enjoy a corn maze, pumpkin patch, hay ride, apple cider donuts etc. The prices were very affordable, and well worth it. The corn maze is massive and very well done. The pumpkin patch is huge! They even offer a hay ride service that picks you up so you don't have to carry your pumpkin after you pick it. To top it off the apple cider donuts are the best we found after trying donuts in New Hampshire and Vermont. I highly recommend this farm to anyone looking for the perfect fall activity! read more

I've never been to a corn maze or hayride before and figured I'd give this place a try. Luckily, I found an online deal for both for 2 ppl for only $20 - which is more than half off original price. Parking here was odd bc the signs didn't exactly lead you to the parking lot - you need to make a few turns and there is a decent size parking lot. My BF and I were relieved to find that we weren't the only ones there for the attractions.... Phew. How awkward would it have been and creepier if it was only us. Apparently, the haunted hayride leads you to the entrance of the corn maze, which means you probably have to pay for both at once. Corn maze $5, hayride $20 each. You get into a ~truck, which takes you through a trail of spooky fun. Ppl do jump out of nowhere and there are some spooky sounds/attractions for about 15-20 minutes until you are brought to the corn maze. The maze should take about 15 minutes to go through, and is def. more spooky if you are completely alone bc there are no lights and you have to basically rely on the moon. Wear sneakers/shoes you don't mind dirtying since it can get a bit muddy. I admired the amount of manpower and effort needed to make the hayride a success, but wasn't scared at all... Keep in mind I'm quite a wimp with scary movies. The age limit is older than 9 yo, which I think is acceptable. I feel the hayride could have been improved if there was a narrator on the ride with us entertaining us with a horror story, meanwhile serving as a distractor while people/zombies jump up at us. So we stopped there on our way back home from Lake George so that I can pick some more veggies to can and freeze for the winter. It was a hot day so staying out in the open field was challenging but it was a nice experience nonetheless. We picked beautiful tomatoes and even more beautiful peppers. They also had zucchinis, eggplants and raspberries for PYO. The price was great; half bushel for $10 and full for $20. I probable could have picked even more for the full one but it was just too hot that day. Defintely can't get those prices in NYC so I am happy and might just drive up there next year to pick even more. It seems like a family farm, a nice girl helped us out and we were the only ones in the field (Labor Day) :) They also had cute goats, a pig and little dog named Daisy around. read more

Zzzzziiiipppppppp! Now, when I heard "zip-lining in Troy," I was a little skeptical. But they ran a deal on Living Social for an unlimited hour of zipping for one hour for four people, and I was intrigued. For $15 (each), I figured that I could have a good time with my friends. I was right. There are two lines, one about 1,200 feet (I think) and the other a little shorter. They have much larger platforms for takeoff and landing than the last place I went, which made the whole experience quite a bit less terrifying (I like gliding into a growing mound of dirt much better than frantically swiping at a couple of inches of wood 30 feet in the air and trying to grab some guy's hand). It's completely safe. We managed to go about 5 times in the hour. Hook yourself to one line, zip across the corn fields and a small gully, unhook, climb another platform, repeat. There's a hill at the end that you have to climb to get back up. As long as you're wearing shoes (and you can't go without them), you should be fine. They offer twilight zips, and I'm planning to go back around Halloween to check it out (along with the Haunted Maze and hayrides). It was a really good time, and a really good deal. Be sure to be on time for your reservation - one member of our party was late, which means that there weren't enough available harnesses when she showed up, and we all had to wait about 10 minutes for other people to finish. Reservations aren't required, but it's a very good idea to make one. As an aside, this place had the cleanest Port-A-Potty I've ever seen. It was cleaner than the bathrooms in most bars. read more

Was expecting much more than a wagon with some self-serve veggies in front of an unremarkable country road home. I suppose things may be different for those coming for any of the structured family entertainments they periodically run but as for a place for local farm fresh produce, this place is not worth the gas to get out there. read more

We came here every year around this time for the past 6 years, even had our engagement photos done here, but this year was much different and I can assure you we will not be back. They advertise a hayride, that brings you to a pumpkin patch and corn maze area. Corn maze is $8/per person. Well they are all sold out of pumpkins, nothing indicating this until you get into the "store" area. We brought our 3 yo and less than 1 yo and we're bummed about the pumpkins but were told we could still take the hayride(all our daughter wanted to do anyways). We wait for the hayride and we're told "where are your tickets?" We explained what the other gentleman told us, for the driver of the hayride, who I believe to be an owner, to tell us absolutely not, that this is for paying cornmaze customers only. Believe me, I'd totally understand had it been busy but there were 5 people on a wagon that could easily hold 30-40 people. We offered to pay for the ride but we weren't going to pay $32 for a cornmaze that my children would not enjoy. He refused. Worst customer service I have EVER received, especially for a place that used to be so family oriented. Seems they only care about the money these days, such a shame! read more
