WHAT THEY DO WELL…read more The staff are professional and helpful. I've never has any issue getting an appointment in a reasonable mount of time. They are also good at working with insurance providers. The exam rooms are clean and provide ample privacy. (The same is not true for a competitor just down the road) ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT I Seemed to be at the mercy of the dentist on shift whenever I went in. I prefer a little more consistency for the sake of patient continuity. Unfortunately, while the service I received seemed great at the time, I ultimately ended up with 2 failed crowns, and each time was referred to an Endo for a root canal. In both cases, the root canal was halted mid-procedure due to the fact that the tooth was cracked to the bottom of the root in multiple places. The Endo claimed that in both cases the DDS should have seem this in x-ray and never crowned in the first. The only good option from the beginning was to extract and get an implant (or denture). Since this office doesn't perform those services, one can only guess they wanted to get paid for the crown work, costing me the patient thousands of unnecessary dollars and much discomfort. To be fair, the crown did postpone the extraction by several years. SUMMARY If you are just looking for cleanings and basic dentistry at a convenient location that is clean and accommodating, this is a great place. If you require any care of a more serious nature and want to work with someone you can trust, look elsewhere.

I have a condition that makes it very painful to have my mouth held up for too long, and they have accommodated this: they ask if I need breaks, and they use a smaller dryshield to put less strain on my jaw. Unfortunately, that is where my positive comments end. This location is very poorly managed. I have had to reschedule an appointment three times due to understaffing. Once is understandable (if annoying), sometimes folks have to call out. But three times betrays a pattern of bad management. I wish I could give a higher rating that is actually based on quality of care, but the other aspects of my experience have been so bad that I can't. I feel for the support staff who have to bear the brunt of their unqualified bosses' bad decisions. I've worked front desk myself and I don't think it's fair to get angry with someone in that position when they have no say in the schedule. The problem is, there is no way for me to reach the people who are actually making these terrible management decisions. Complaints and constructive criticism are clearly being ignored, or else things would have improved by now. Just look at how many negative reviews this location receives, and yet nothing is changing.

What I really like though, was Dr. Howard's very thorough examination, the equipment seemed to be modern and high tech, and he didn't magically find a mouth full of cavities or "work" just to earn a paycheck.
