Merit Homes, Inc. has even offered, and we have gratefully accepted, Their offer to remove our old fencing and fence posts and dispose of them at no charge to us for any of this!!! I had a great experience with Merit Homes, Inc. while they were building two homes next door to us for the past five months. It has been a genuinely positive experience. Merritt homes, Inc. employees and their contractors have gone out of their way to be polite and courteous during the entire building process. Merit Homes did an outstanding job on our house. Another reviewer mentioned they cut down a lot of…read moreimportant trees and they did cut down many of the trees that were on the lots of our subdivision, but any builder is going to do that to a greater or lesser degree by necessity. If you have a neighbor that has developed an extraordinarily deep and abiding affection for the scrub pines where a new house is destined to be, well, maybe you could consult a tree priest to help them transplant the soul of their beloved conifers into a nearby perennial or a stand of bamboo. It worked in Avatar so it might work for you.* With true love anything is possible. Disclaimer* This only worked once and it was for an 8' blue alien that happened to be in love with a paraplegic Marine. Also it was in a movie. Do what your conscience requires and if need be plant extra hardwood trees to control erosion and salve your conscience. Go wild with your green thumb. As it is they left sturdy trees where they could, cleared the scrub, and left very large level lots that drain well and appear to have stable soil(which is almost unheard of for our area). **UPDATE on the soil** The sod that they used on our homes is not holding up well and has very high clay content that means certain areas that don't want to drain. Most of it drains, but there are spots that are constantly wet. We are working with Merit now to do something about it. I will update this space. **END UPDATE The houses trend toward contemporary, but have cool little details that I haven't seen in other builder's houses. Details like AC outlets in the eaves up near the roof lines so you can put up your Christmas lights. Real wood doors and stair cases that have actual stain on them. LED or fluorescent lights to save power and last for years. High ceilings on both the lower AND upper floors. CAT5E wiring that terminates into low voltage panels that are well organized. Power panels that have a few slots left in case you want to put in an electric car charger or lift in your garage. Gravel or stone paths from all exterior side doors to keep dirt out. 4000PSI concrete with fibers for strength. 2x6 exterior studs all the way around to have plenty of depth for insulation. It is the little details that make a home livable and they did a good job leaving flexibility for us as home owners. There are little hobgoblins that have to chased down (some of the stone on our fireplace had to be reseated because it was set in a low temperature adhesive that dripped), but they quickly came in and replaced it. Average response time is about a day or two and their folks are quick to take off their shoes to keep things clean. I have only owned our house for a few weeks thus far, but I can say it has been my best new house purchasing experience. I'll reserve judgment and retain the right to update this review in case my house slides off into Lake Washington or the spirit of dead raccoons invade my TV. Best Regards, -BH

We knew that…read morewe have very large scope of wotk such as kitchen remodeling, 3 bathrooms remodeling, primary bathroom remodeling, flooring, painting etc... We call few high rated local companies to come and give us an estimate. After we met with Liran from level up construction we knew we want to work with him. During the first walk through in the house We felt the experience and knowledge and amount of care for details for our first house. The company representative was always there for us during the project. For any question we had at any time! There are things we got with level up, That's we understand the value and the rare high performance customers service. Everything came up exactly as we wanted. In some areas of the house, it's even better than what we pictured. Liran was there for us for every question and Showed up with a lot of ideas. It was very valuable for us to use a company that comes with a lot of creative ideas and knowledge. How to get things done properly. Everything was done, permitted and inspected by the city of Bellevue. We want to say thank you very much for everything you have done for us. And for our family We enjoyed the house and the remodeling every single day We are happy to highly recommend this company. For any remodeling or large scope of work! The price was fair and we will use them again in future projects.

I have completed extensive…read moreremodelling of several homes in the past including work on our current home and wanted to remodel our kitchen as well. Karen convinced me that I was too old (70) and it would take too long to complete. Enter Liran and LevelUp Construction. They had great reviews, many photos/videos of completed work as well as a very good bid price. My experience has taught me that one of the keys to a good contractor is their ability to find and keep good subcontractors. Almost all of the subcontractors that worked on our remodel were top-notch. In any remodel, issues arise that complicate the work, especially those that involve more than one trade. We had several significant ones. We worked with Liran to insure that good decisions were made to resolve them including allowing me to work on the remodel to insure that the project wasn't unduly delayed. It is very important to Liran to make sure that his clients are happy. For example, we liked the LVT installation in our kitchen so much that we decided we wanted to replace carpet in a 'hub' area. Liran included the installation at no cost to us.

The MainVue sales consultant was very helpful and we enjoyed working with her. The model was lovely, a few small quality issues but nothing big, and overall on a par with other good quality track home builders. It had an "outdoor room" which we fell in love with. We have purchased many homes, one from a track home builder, so we felt like we knew the ropes. We have also designed our own home and had it built by a custom builder, so we understood that process as well. We were not expecting a fully custom home. Our offer was a "pre-sale" -- build our selected model, on our selected lot. It had not been permitted yet and the only thing that had been pre-selected was the facade. We had a choice of brick or rock on the facade and we chose brick. MainVue prides itself on their interior design and color schemes, as well as "luxury" inclusions. The problems came when we wanted upgrades and changes. These are changes/upgrades Main Vue would not do: -- hardwood floors instead "timber look" vinyl -- wooden shelves and rods in closets instead of open wire -- under counter drawers instead of cupboards in kitchen -- install under cabinet lighting in kitchen (they would pre-wire only) -- 8 foot doors rather than standard -- grab bars in the showers and for the tub -- foot rest in shower -- install brick on the outdoor fireplace instead of shiny tile or cement board -- You cannot make any selections or changes as far as hardware, fixtures and lighting (disappointing, but not a deal breaker for us) We worked with MainVue for about 2 months before we withdrew our offer. We were told that we couldn't make changes like adding a foot rest in the shower because the designer did not intend for there to be a footrest. Seriously. The final straw was when they would not put brick on the outdoor fireplace, even though it was the same brick they were putting on the facade, and even though their models had brick outdoor fireplaces. As it turns out, some things you see in their models are not done anymore. When we pursued why brick could not be used, it finally boiled down to the simple fact that the builder did not want to do it. That message sunk in to us and we decided to withdraw. Of course, MainVue can build any kind of home they want, and they are very successful, but for us, when there was zero flexibility on simple requests, that was the deal breaker. It made us wonder how MainVue would handle warranty issues, and we didn't want to find out.

We first learned about Wise Choice through Yelp, and although we were initially nervous about choosing a contractor for such a large job (they gave us the best estimate, by far!) without a personal recommendation, we couldn't be happier with our decision. They were great to work with throughout the entire process, from architectural and engineering plans, permitting, and the actual construction. The project manager, Sergiy, and foreman, Bogdan, were very honest, helpful, and responsive every step of the way. The project was completed pretty much on budget (with only a couple of unforeseen issues outside of their control) and on time. We love the results, and several people have commented that the addition looks like it should have been there all along. We can't recommend Wise Choice highly enough!

We bought our home in June and it needed some serious TLC so we asked Remont to quote the job along with several other contractors. David and Vicktor arrived on time, they measured, took detailed notes and were incredibly knowledgeable, plus they were able to do the work in our crazy timeline. They had their quote back to me that evening, which is what they'd promised. After receiving the other quotes and experiencing the professionalism of Remont Construction we decided to go with them. They painted the entire interior of our home and did a great job. At one point the painters painted one of the bathroom ceilings the same color as the bathroom (yikes), after telling them I didn't want any ceilings painted. I called Vicktor and he made sure it was fix with no fuss or strings attached, and it looks great. Remont refinished our hardwood floors and extended the hardwood into the dining room after removing the carpet. They also removed the carpet and old tile in our bathroom, laying beautiful new tile perfectly. We also switched out all the old bi-fold doors for sliding ones, Vicktor's team painted the doors the same color as our trim and did an amazing job overall. If you're lucky enough to get Remont Construction, schedule them immediately. These guys do GREAT WORK, they're honest, respectful and on time. Call Remont Construction, trust me you wont regret it.
