If they want to argue about it with someone who has been in the roofing and insurance business for over 10 years with my roofing business back home we can take these claims to subrogation and court and have engineers take a look at all these "wind damaged" shingles. Try me. Trust me 40-56 mph winds will not do these types of damages where your shingle is rated for 50-60 mph winds and architectural shingles rated for 75+mph winds Im from Texas and have been in the area visiting and have friends here that have told me to take a look at their roofs after these guys from American Home Tech have inspected their roofs. These guys can't even look at me in the face when I'm talking about it on the roof. One of the guys admitted to me and stated that's why he wants to become an adjuster and do right instead of wrong because of their "standards". These are man made creased back shingles!! If they are committing damages to your roof why would you trust them? These contractors are salesman at the end of the day and if theres no work of course they're going to create damage and say your roof is completely damaged because they know you won't get on the roof! Don't be such a fool! I will be buying more chalk because I didn't expect to see this. I will be posting more photos of fraud damages once I inspect what they are claiming "wind damage" on my other friend's homes. And from what I've seen they are all the same just on different roofs. They brought a crew of 10 and had the old roof off and replaced in two days, in freezing December weather, on our 2800 sq. ft. house. Part of the job included removing and hauling away an old, non-functional 10' by 20' hot-water solar panel. No extra charge! They originally quoted standard shingles and when they ordered them, they discovered that the manufacturer, CertainTeed, had suffered a huge fire in an East Coast facility, which not only destroyed current inventory but the capacity to manufacture more shingles. So C and J worked with us to upgrade to architectural shingles of very similar color and look at a 50% cost reduction. Additionally, we have a large flag-stone chimney for which they had to hand-craft lead flashing to make a solid, durable seal. Standard metal flashing could not be made to conform to the rough stone surface of the chimney and would leak. This part of the job alone, took two men two days. They also worked with us to replace two standard roof vents with high-powered fans at a very reasonable cost. I was so satisfied with the work that I recommended C and J to my daughter, who had her roof replaced just a couple of months ago, and is equally as pleased with their work as I am.

My father and I needed new roofs and he wanted to use this company, Kevin meets with my father and…read moreI, we tell him what is needed I needing more done explained everything and Kevin went on and on about how things were going be done and how he was going to take care of us...let me say my fathers roof was perfect, to this day not one thing wrong the crew finished early that predicted...but here is my personal experience, the crew that did my fathers roof was not the crew that came to my house...some came hung over some looked like this was their first time handling tools the job took twice as long as promised and half of what I needed to be done and was promised was never done when I made my first complaint to the supervisor that not one time came on the job site he stated they did what was in the contract (found out all the big promises from Kevin were never put in the contract, yep my fault for not reading it) I said to him I guess there is nothing I can do since I signed the contract...he smiled and said that's right...he smiled and said that's right...that's not customer service that's we screwed you and there's nothing you can do about it,second time I complained was because the crew left off a glaring piece of trim in the front of the house they sent someone out who pieced milled it together instead of taking off the half piece and replacing it correctly, the third time I complained because a section of roof was leaking I had to complain several times before someone showed up went on my roof banged a hammer for 5 minutes then left...no introduction no explanation no nothing as if someone said just go bang around so she'll shut up....well now I have water damage inside my house exactly where I reported the leaking that obviously was never fixed and I've had to have my tires plugged twice because every time the wind blows dozens of roofing nails appear all over my yard long after this joke of a job was completed. And I told them I had insurance the insurance will be taken care of it for some reason the insurance never paid it so they turn me over to a bill collection agency over this $600 finally my insurance paid and we had a settlement payment and then they overcharged me on the settlement payment.
