After dropping it off, he diagnosed the issue & sent us options with clear pricing. We chose to have him rebuild in a new case, which was a great price. After picking up, we were unable to connect to wifi at home. We will definitely be reaching out in the future for a new build & would recommend to anyone.

After their repair work, the main display no longer functioned. The manager confirmed in writing that the display worked after the initial cleaning, then failed while the laptop was still in their care. They also acknowledged that some liquid metal had been missed during the first cleaning and was discovered by a second technician. The shop attributes the display failure to a preexisting liquid metal leak, but also stated that they could not determine the exact sequence of events. They declined compensation for the display failure and said they could not source a replacement motherboard. Their proposed resolution was to waive the cleaning labor charge and refund the diagnostic fee. I was a returning customer and chose this shop again because I trusted them after a previous repair. That makes their handling of this situation especially disappointing. I entrusted them with an expensive laptop containing important study materials, and when its previously working main display failed during service, their proposed resolution was limited to refunding service fees. That trust is now gone.
