I've seen it too many times where the business owner has barely enough time to explain the cost let alone his availability to even look at your device. Everything is always left "up in the air" as to when and if they'll be able to provide the service they advertise in a reasonable amount. In the…read morepast two weeks my two laptops have both died and a third was buried away because I didn't think it was worth fixing. "Bob" at Preferred Computer fixed them all. One of them twice for a different issue each time. The bill for the repairs came to less than a C note too. If you have had to take your computer in to the shop, your palms get sweaty just thinking about it...wondering if eating this month is simply over rated or if not having your computer is something you can learn to live without. One of my old laptops was down for a couple years since it had a virus that simply deleted or destroyed my pics and receipts. I took it in just to see if it could possibly be fixed. Bob said it was a virus that forced him to reload my windows but the data was still there! My newer laptop had a update from Levono and then the screen was black in the morning. The third repair of the older computer was a repair of the power button. It popped right out and flew over my shoulder. I found the round button and Bob fixed it so it would work just fine. The old girl isn't worth the cost of a new face plate and the labor to install it. I got free advice on a the type of router I should get so the old router will not drive me to throw it out of the window. Bob will do the shopping and find a new one for a reasonable price we set. I would not use them again. According to Craig the initial service call to install the dishwasher…read morewas 5 to 6 hours. During the first use of this machine I had to go down and shut off the water. They tried to jerry rig the water line to save time and money.the next day, with me watching closely, they sent 2 or 3 hours doing it right. My guess, they know nothing about plumbing or were trying to pull a fast one on a 90 year old man. They left off a trim piece, used old fittings, used pipe tape on a compression fitting ( never done by anyone who knows what they are doing) , used the old nut they had stripped out as well as the old farrel. New nut and farrel cost nothing versus time spent. They didn't want to level the unit. I will give them this, they admitted they didn't use a new adapter, admitted they stripped the nut, price was fair, and that his helper was new. A good price is no trade for a wet floor. They blamed the lack of hardware on corning building co. And manufacturer. Didn't put the kick plate on. I have spoken to corning building co. About this as well as anyone who will listen. I have installed 4 or 5 dishwasher and never had this much go wrong. However I always had the right tools, was prepared and am familiar with plumbing. The customer is my girlfriend 90 year old father. I hold no I'll will against craig, just wish I had done it myself, time would have been saved.

I've had them three times to purge a 40 year lived in house and they were amazing. they do all the heavy lifting and all you have to do is tell them what goes. they took all the recycle things to re-use. I highly recommend them to help you get rid of things. oh and they are reasonably priced considering a lot of things go to the dump and that can be pricy if you do it piecemeal yourself
