Not saying it's acceptable but shit happens and definitely not making any excuses. Momma of 4 here trying to do my thing. Too stressful and when the kids don't go when to your facility when schools out we still get charged (get it's a policy but it's a bit cra) and it is expensive. I put in for the financial help and still haven't heard back on it. This was at the beginning of the year too. Looking for another daycare even for the last few months this school year. I don't think any parent should feel this much anxiety and stress at their kids aftercare program.

Giving her the benefit of the doubt, I asked if I could come in for a tour that week. With a heavy sigh, she proceeds to tell me how "this week is not a good week, I'm very busy with graduations". I told her I needed to secure care for my daughter because I was getting ready to start a new job. She replied with the same explanation... I told her I suppose I would have to explore other options, especially if I couldn't even see the place. To my surprise, her response was "okay! Have a great day!"
