Friendly and helpful service with a smile and I was handed a 10 page handout on their rose selections and their roses are sorted by type and alphabetical order. The rose trees were few but I know I got a late start this year and will return earlier for best selections. I'm on their Facebook group and know they just got their David Austin roses in so I had to come in today and leave with two roses. Value is great - their hanging baskets are gorgeous and the proven selection ones were only $24.99 each. He was looking for Dallas Red lantana and of course he would find it here. I bought several herbs and other flowers. Also we got pictures with the Easter Bunny today! There are goats and chickens, too. We went on a weekend and throughly enjoyed it. The staff come around and ask if you have any questions and provide excellent recommendations for your garden or indoor plants. They also offer free popsicles which was so lovely considering how hot it was. There's farm animals and koi fish as well as plenty of seating for people to rest and enjoy the views. It's always a pleasant experience coming here, whether you have a particular plant in mind or you just want to browse around. They have a huge selection of plants, fantastic service, and beautiful scenery. For the kids to look at, they have chickens and goats too (behind a fence). I came here to look for an olive tree as a gift. I couldn't find the size I was looking for, so a lady helped me find an alternative plant. She was very patient and helpful, even though we came towards closing hours. I appreciate how they offered free popsicles for the kids. That's so nice! I swear I wish I could live here. Narrowing down the photos to post was near impossible. I took a million. From the shop to the herb garden to the fairy garden to the flowers there's something for everyone here to enjoy. If I needed anything for a yard they had it I assure you. They had so much stuff for planting and garden maintenance as well not just plants. A year ago, my sister was looking for an African Mask plant to take with her back to California. My neighbor Debbie recommended Enchanted Forest Nursery to us. Sure enough, we found not just the plant she was looking for, also lots of other things we both love. This nursery is not too far from my house but it's in a beautiful countryside of Fort Bend County. We saw cows, horses and other farm animals. Really pleasant to take a ride on a sunny day. Fast forward to this year. I was here with my other neighbor Andres yesterday to find some indoor plants to decorate my newly remodeled bathroom. Came to find a sign at a locked gate. I was very disappointed but I also understand the employees need a nice holiday weekend to spend time with their families. I bought 5 cross vine. they were in a very bad shape. I asked for a discount (at least 10%), the cashier (very nice young lady) called Danny Lenderman and he did not accepted that the presentation and shape of the plants was very bad. He was very rude and told me NO, asking me that if I did not want them he will put them back. never ask for his help because his manners and customer skills are horrible. read more

Really great atmosphere and vibe going on here. You walk into a variety of garden landscapes with plenty of busied staff tending to all sorts of matters. They were perhaps a little too busy given that no one offered us any assistance. They have an abundant variety of plants, all well-labeled and pricing transparent. Many of the plants seemed to be well cared for, as I noted many succulent types flowering (such as string of pearls, dolphins, etc.,) despite the winter season, for example. I saw some plant life varieties that seem to be less common, such as goldflakes, firetail chenille. They did not seem to carry the wildly expensive trendy plants such as variegated monsteras. There's plenty of parking, but with it being composed of all dirt, I would hesitate to visit just after rainy days. I would definitely recommend visiting closer to Spring or Summer season when much of their scenic plant life will be thriving. Besides a singular squirrel, I did not see any koi fish in the ponds, or the pets from their website, again likely due to the cold winter season. read more

I LOVE this place! The selection of flowers and plants and bushes are so nice. It's definitely pricey compared to most other places like Home Depot, Lowes, Houston Garden Centers. However, you can always find a few things here: Color -in Texas it is hard to find especially in the summer, but you can find it here almost all year around. Quality- The health quality of the plants are excellent! You can tell they take care of the plants. Customer Service- Everyone is So nice here. They are very helpful. They have such a depth of expertise and knowledge and if you need help, they can find someone on site to help and even educate you a little. Very humble kind people. Perks- they have lots of benefits to those who spend. When you do, if you are on their email/contact roster, they give you portion of credit off for the next time visit. I love that! I'm gonna spend when I drive here anyhow but the fact that they give me $ off for next time is a little added bonus to the next visit. And it doesn't expire. Education- I love that they have Saturday guest speakers or little tips and tricks to gardening or how to start a garden related subject. It's so family friendly. This nursery is awesome. Far and away beyond what you'll find at Calloway's, Home Depot, Lowe's, and Houston Garden Centers. The variety of plants you'll find is astounding. It's truly a gardener's paradise. So many options & harder-to-find shrubs/plants/flowers; pricing also seems reasonable. The staff are friendly and helpful. They also have yard decorations/decorative stakes, a ton of different bird feeders, some bird houses -- the pricing on these seems a little high. A friend said it's especially amazing to see in the spring, so we'll be sure to visit in the spring -- this time we'll have to bring my flower-loving mother-in-law, too. read more

This is such an amazing hidden gem! Cool place to walk around nature. My bf and I come here multiple times and bring home several green friends. Their plants are great quality wise and they have millions different types from flowers, succulents, to herbs, house plants, etc. they carry vases, soil, fertilizer, etc. They even have many cool miniature decorations for your gardens, anything you can imagine. Staff is nice and helpful. Price is not too high but not cheap at all. We usually spent around 30 mins to walk around, finding what we like. I follow the Houston Garden group on Facebook and found out about this place because it came highly recommended. I ended up following their Instagram page and love all the updates of new shipments coming in. Enchanted Forest is tucked away on the outskirts of Richmond and is a gardener's paradise. They have lots and lots of options for both indoor and outdoor plants, as well as lots of veggies for your vegetable garden, and lots of options for pots and soil! We saw water lilies and exotic shrimp plants, and maranta prayer plants! Everything I've been looking for in one location! The staff are friendly and they have a rewards program for frequent customers! Though they are priced higher than some nurseries, the plants are high quality, well cared for and will thrive when you take them home! Good place to visit for a stroll or if you're looking for something specific! I sure left with quite a few pots and house plants! So much so that the bf has banned me from buying anymore?! Located close to where I live, we often come out here just to enjoy the beauty and elegant gardens and plants that dot this delightful oasis! This is perhaps one of the nicest nurseries I have ever visited! My wife loves flowers and plants of all types and we always like to come here to visit with the staff and look at all the beautiful plants and flowers all year round! The ambience is delightful! The staff is wonderful, inviting and friendly and the selection impeccable! They also have a landscaping service if you're seeking advice and services and a really nice gift shop! Check out their seminars on their website. They have them usually on the weekends and they are very informative! Oftentimes my wife and I like to venture out to Chappell Hill to visit the Antique Rose Emporium for the roses but honestly this place is just as nice if not nicer! And for anyone who lives in Sugar Land or the Richmond area this is practically in their backyard. Located on 2759, a nice country road off of 99 (Crabb River Road), the grounds are beautiful all year round! The owners are very nice and oftentimes you will see cats and dogs wandering peacefully among the beautiful greenery! Enchanted Forest was the contractor that did landscaping to the front yards (believe that includes the sprinkler system) of our entire neighborhood, and we think they pretty good job overall. I didn't think much about the name until I googled them up years ago and found out that in addition to doing landscaper, they are also a nursery. We took one visit to the nursery several years ago and have enjoyed our every trip. The location of the nursery is on the side of a long Farm Road next to railroad tracks, but upon entering into the nursery, one thing we noticed is that the people who work there are always smiling and will all greet the customers and asking them if they needed help (bless Gary and his well trained staff). The nursery is organized very well and every section (fruit trees, flowering trees/plants, roses, camellias, etc.) are well spaced with ample walkways and they are clearly marked. In addition to flowers/trees/plants, they also have garden decorations, seed packets, tools, soil, backyard furniture and accessories. These are also well kept and though it is a nursery, everything is generally pretty neat and tidy. Sometimes they would even hold events or classes, have themed decorations and like today, had live musician to entertain the customers. The price of their products are not cheapest around and I probably won't buy normally found elsewhere plants here. However, one can expect to find more variety here, and sometimes rare/special plants here. We are always amazed by how well they keep the nursery, I see a lot of loyal and returning customers coming to the nursery just so they can enjoy the scenery and the shopping experience. I take my Mother to this nursery at least once a year. She usually finds more unusual plants than the typical Home Depot / Lowes garden variety. The longtime owner is a nice and friendly man with lots of knowledge. The staff is also helpful. This nursery is huge, cutely-decorated, and beautiful. There are lots of comfortable benches in shade where you can wait for people to finish looking at plants. Their prices are not as cheap as big chain stores, but are still pretty fair. They sell lots of decorative pottery which I do find expensive. There are a couple of nice cats and a nice dog wandering around the grounds. Once you buy something, someone will write your order on a slip of paper that you take inside the front building to give to the cashier. Maybe they only do that in the summer because it's so hot outside. In cooler temperatures you may check out outdoors. This nursery and Cornelius Nursery on Voss Rd are my favorites in the Houston area. The only drawback to this nursery is the location is a little out of the way, being behind Greatwood. It is 4 miles east on FM 2759 from the Crabb River Rd / FM 2759 / FM 762 intersection. FM 2759 is right next to a railroad track. The speed limit of the road gets to be 55 mph so I always watch the odometer for the 4 miles before slowing down and looking to the left. It's a small area in the middle of nowhere so it could be easy to miss on your first trip there. The small town/city it's in is called Booth, TX. If you drive too far east, the town/city becomes Thompsons, TX. Enchanted Forest has a sister nursery west of Pecan Grove called Enchanted Gardens or something but I like this one more. read more
