Chickens! And a goat!

I swear I wish I could live here. Narrowing down the photos to post was near impossible. I took a million. From the shop to the herb garden to the fairy garden to the flowers there's something for everyone here to enjoy. If I needed anything for a yard they had it I assure you. They had so much stuff for planting and garden maintenance as well not just plants. And they truly had so many plants and flowers that I rarely see at plant stores not even at the big garden center ones. They had tons of really friendly staff in all areas and tons of parking! It's not too far out from sugarland and it's a real nice drive!

No complain...absolutely love. Unique fairy garden, 0lanta, and family owned services. No HD quality here.

A year ago, my sister was looking for an African Mask plant to take with her back to California. My neighbor Debbie recommended Enchanted Forest Nursery to us. Sure enough, we found not just the plant she was looking for, also lots of other things we both love. This nursery is not too far from my house but it's in a beautiful countryside of Fort Bend County. We saw cows, horses and other farm animals. Really pleasant to take a ride on a sunny day. Fast forward to this year. I was here with my other neighbor Andres yesterday to find some indoor plants to decorate my newly remodeled bathroom. Came to find a sign at a locked gate. I was very disappointed but I also understand the employees need a nice holiday weekend to spend time with their families. I will definitely come back to get some more plants next spring for my patio.

This is my happy place. Enchanted Forest is a secret place for gardeners. It is located behind Greatwood in Richmond Texas. The people here are so nice and helpful Even on hot summer days. Please follow the signs for parking as when they get busy the entrance is one way only. They have plants, soil, fertilizer and pots. They have items for you to build the fairy garden you did not know you needed to build. This is a great place to spend a day and connect to nature while buying plants for your yard.

Wild squirrel on the loose

Really great atmosphere and vibe going on here. You walk into a variety of garden landscapes with plenty of busied staff tending to all sorts of matters. They were perhaps a little too busy given that no one offered us any assistance. They have an abundant variety of plants, all well-labeled and pricing transparent. Many of the plants seemed to be well cared for, as I noted many succulent types flowering (such as string of pearls, dolphins, etc.,) despite the winter season, for example. I saw some plant life varieties that seem to be less common, such as goldflakes, firetail chenille. They did not seem to carry the wildly expensive trendy plants such as variegated monsteras. There's plenty of parking, but with it being composed of all dirt, I would hesitate to visit just after rainy days. I would definitely recommend visiting closer to Spring or Summer season when much of their scenic plant life will be thriving. Besides a singular squirrel, I did not see any koi fish in the ponds, or the pets from their website, again likely due to the cold winter season.

First time here... located behind Greatwood area. Huge clean very organized place. Cute Christmas setup-- the grinch and Santa was here! Super cute fairy garden my daughter loved so much we bought some stuff & created one at home. Very friendly and helpful staff. The parking lot can get muddy so watch out of wet days!

Aptly named. Enchanted Gardens (EG) is an enchantment any time of the year…read more My aunt, childhood friend of 45/6 years, and I love it so much here. For my aunt, it's the go-to place for entire flats of mix and match edible plants, and also unusual plants. She says it's the best quality, selection and price. She now goes here with friends and family when I cannot go with her. For my friend its an opportunity for fancifulness, like you're in the opening of a Disney female main character scene where nature is chirping and buzzing in a concentration of a diverse, bountiful, beautiful plant life, and for me its both the practicality of edible plants, native plants, and unusual plants. I've seen the owner give a talk at OHBA. It cemented my respect for EG. So much comprehensive knowledge, and deep care. Before, I had noticed the employees are happy, present, and knowledgeable. EG is leagues beyond corporate stores. Yes, support local, but also seems EG is authentically supporting the local community too.

The garden has a beautiful layout with well-maintained displays showcasing a variety of flowers, succulents, shrubs, herbs, pottery, and trees. I've visited this garden a few times now and each time, the staff members have been incredibly friendly and eager to assist with any questions I may have. They've even helped bring my fruit trees out to my car. The service here is excellent, and they seem to have almost everything I need. So far, I've purchased two Sugar Cane Jujube trees, a cherry tree, a purple and red pepper plant, a few Jade plants, and some flowers to enhance my garden. If you haven't visited Enchanted Gardens, you should definitely add it to your agenda. The fun seasonal decorations are worth the trip alone, and they're perfect for taking pictures.
