I called to order what I believed would be a $55 bouquet, but my total unexpectedly came to $81 due to added same-day delivery/demand pricing that was never clearly disclosed on their website or Facebook page. Pricing transparency matters, and if costs increase for same-day orders or demand, that should be stated upfront rather than presented only at checkout. The ordering process itself was frustrating. I had to repeat myself multiple times and spell out nearly every word for the representative taking my order, yet the birthday card still had our names spelled incorrectly. After realizing the issues, I called back to verify the birthday card information and was told I would need to speak with the owner, who later returned my call. The owner offered only a $7.99 refund and provided no meaningful explanation beyond saying they "don't charge a surcharge," while also acknowledging that prices increase for demand and same-day delivery. Regardless of terminology, charging more for same-day service without clearly disclosing it in advertised pricing is misleading and creates the impression of false advertising. Working with the designer over the phone, I asked if we could swap out the lilies on the right side for more sunflowers, and she said she could! I placed the order, but after thinking about it a bit more, the next day I called The Flower Gallery in Medina back to ask if we could personalize it a bit more by moving out some roses on the left side and replace them with more sunflowers, and that also was possible. The second designer mentioned that sometimes sunflowers can be smaller than other times of year and even not as beautiful, but they would use their best judgement to make it beautiful.
