Had lunch again today. Sadly the foid was not as good and wasnt as generous. I hope that it was just an off day.

We stopped by Enat Ethiopian Restaurant on a Saturday around 3:30 pm for a late lunch. I had bookmarked this spot earlier, but after one of our Uber drivers raved about it, we made it a priority to dine here before flying home--and I'm so glad we did. We ordered the Yebere Siga Tips (#9) and Green Chicken (#15) based on our waitress' recommendation, and I chose the Enat Combination (#13) after seeing it in some Yelp photos. The Highly recommend #13--it's a great sampler that includes 3 beef dishes (like #9) and a variety of veggie sides, perfect for first-timers or anyone who wants to try a bit of everything. The food was delicious! The beef was a bit tough though. Portions are large and one order can easily be shared. If you're new to Ethiopian food, the best way I can describe it is to say many of the dishes are stewed, hearty, and comforting--flavors that feel familiar, like home-cooked meals. Ethiopian food somehow reminds me of Asian food, eaten with injera bread instead of rice. Injera bread is a fermented pancake-like flat bread which we happily tore up to dip, scoop, and grab. We were the only guests when we arrived, but by 4:30 pm the restaurant became very busy. A wonderful experience overall. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Really liked it. I am completely inexperienced in Ethiopian cuisine...I've eaten it once or twice but I know very little about the dishes. My son was taking me out for Father's Day- his first time paying for a meal out- which is cool. We ordered by instinct and I'm not going to be able to tell you what I ordered but we got one dish that was a variety of things on injera bread, and another dish that was beef or lamb and greens. I got an Ethiopian beer and my son got a drink that was just mango. We got too much food: a result of not knowing how to order. We were very well fed and the plate that had a variety of items was preferred by both of us. The service was good. Very friendly, fairly quick. They did not walk us through ordering but we also didn't ask for help but rather just dove in. It feels like it's being run by a family. The ambience is nothing special really. Ethiopian cultural decor, a big-ass tv in the corner playing soccer...whatever...you won't go here because it's 'fancy' you'll go here because you want really great Ethiopian food at a reasonable price. For $50+tip (thanks son!) you'll leave well fed. I'd recommend this place and will be back.

I went here with a friend last night. I had to go looking for my own menus when they were not brought to us within a few minutes of arriving. The food was delicious. I especially like the dish with the cabbage, and potatoes. The environment is a little distracting, with television on and so much artwork. It's almost overwhelming. The sun coming through the window in the late afternoon was also a little bit much. The server forgot to bring the coffee my friend asked for, but at least we weren't charged for it.

Love this place. Stopped in looking for authentic Ethiopian food (we'd stopped at their market just down the road and wanted to try their restaurant). It's the real deal, a jar of mitmita on the table, great offerings, excellent injera. Staff are friendly and helpful and service was quick. Definitely stop in if you're looking for an international experience.

I love Enat Ethiopian! The food comes out relatively quickly, the food is absolutely tasty, and they give you a mountain of a meal. There is nothing not to like about it. The servers are friendly too.

Seattle is blessed with many Ethiopian gems. Enat didn't disappoint. I had the vegetarian platter. Everything was flavorful, well seasoned, and had a great mouthfeel. It's a very generous portion with three injera--leftovers for another meal and a half. Service was quick and pleasant, considering how crowded it was on a Friday night. Could it have been spicier? Yes... but that's me. I'll ask for spicy, and without a long explanation of why, I seldom get food with a good bite until I've been going there for a while. It's one of those places where people often move between tables, and there's a great community vibe. Give it a go, and don't ask for tableware ;)

I absolutely love this restaurant. I wish I lived closer, I'd eat here regularly if I could. I always get the Enat combo, it's two meals worth of food, generous portion, I have a full meal of leftovers every time I get it. The injera is so tangy, spongy, and delicious, and you get plenty, I think it's the best injera I've ever had. The meats and sides are flavorful. I love it, I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

First dinner of our trip was to try Enat Ethiopian Restaurant. It's close to Loxicha Authentic Oaxacan Food and another Ethiopian spot, Ahadu Ethiopian Restaurant. We dropped in on a fairly busy Sunday evening (8:00pm). The inside is spacious with plenty of tables along with two TV's. Menu consists of 23 options along with a few side dishes, appetizers and desserts. Been to plenty of Ethiopian restaurants but this was the fastest we've ever been served. Food came out in 10 minutes. - Mango juice ($2.00 USD) - Enat combination (#13) ($20.79 USD) - meat and vegetable combo that comes with three massive portions of injera. Easily shared between two people or more. Injera had a slightly sour, fermented note. Our plate consisted of yellow split peas, beef, cabbage, marinated beef with onion, spicy beef stew, potato & carrot, spinach and salad. Best items were the cabbage and marinated beef with onion. The other two meats were dry and overcooked. Can't beat the portions and price at Enat. 3.5 stars.

Loved this place. Someone noted in the comments the meat in the comb was tuff. I would agree but thought it might be stylistic. Nice market beside the place. Will be back!

Just two of us and hence went for one soup - S9. Seafood Hotpot SPICY - Seafood hotpot with vegetables quite a lot for two and had to to-go the rest. Good service, good ambience and would recommend going to this place.

And, another $5 for gluten free bread (we never asked for gluten free, and the menu says that bread is included). When we asked about the $10 extra charge that we didn't plan on, they said that they ran out of regular bread and had to give us gluten free. And the $35 instead of $30 was because they have a new menu coming out with the higher price, but "its not yet printed." This is misrepresentation and illegal. They were dishonest. They never told us about the price change in the beginning, when we were ordering. When we wanted them make it right and remove the $10 extra charge, they wouldn't. They just said its now on the "new" menu, which is "not yet printed." A bunch of BS in my opinion. One of the best parts? They offer gluten-free injera! That made the whole experience even better. The price itself was very fair for the amount of food you get, but like most delivery apps, the UberEats fees made the total much higher than expected. Still, the quality and flavor made it worth it. I'd love to visit Adey in person to get the full experience and ambiance when I'm here again! The injera here is more mild, less sour, than the other places I visited. The service was a little slow, but again, it was busy and there were only two people taking orders and serving. With this in mind, our food came out relatively fast. The bathroom area was also a little neglected during this busy rush with none of the sinks having paper towels, so I had to use napkins at the table to dry my hands while waiting for our food. I got an Ethiopian beer, the Zagol combo, and the lamb yebeg tibs. Everything was flavorful and paired well with the injera. The portions were pretty generous. Our meal came with 3 side injera on top of the injera plating all the veggies and meat. Between two people, we had leftovers, but a lot of it is a the injera used for plating. I wish the zagol combo had one more meat option in it, but the addition of the lamb dish was perfect. Definitely try the lamb yebeg tips because it was my favorite out of all, and we got it spicy. There's also a meat combo option on the menu as well if more meat is wanted. The beer is light and paired well with the bold flavors of these dishes. Overall I would come back again. A lot of tables had tea and I would like to try that next time.

They remind an OG steward in a building that incidentally looks like a family house with an interior decorated with Ethiopian art. Per her recommendation, we ordered their popular items listed at the top of their food menu. Side note: They do not offer a meat combo, unlike many other Ethiopian restaurants. The Food: Their injera (spongy bread) is impeccable with a potent sourdough taste. Despite having had many injera in the past, theirs stood out in this regard and is incredibly flavorful as is. Unfortunately, if one doesn't like sourdough bread, this could be problematic. Each entrée includes a full-size piece of injera. BBQ Special, $28.50 - 4.5 Stars Aromatic berbere-infused steak is slow cooked and paired with peppers and onions. This dish is served in a ceramic warmer with a small piece of charcoal underneath. Vegetable Combination, $25 - 4 Stars The photo's veggie combo included veggies that are served with the BBQ Special, possibly just the salad, not sure. This combo with eight variants is modest compared to other restaurants both in terms of variants and portions of each. I commonly see ten variants in the veggie combo with bigger portions for each. Looking at older posted photos, the original portions are indeed bigger. I'll chalk it off to inflation.
