I have been coming to this salon, specifically Allure next to HEB in San Juan for years for my…read morepedicures. Today was my last visit here, im extremely disappointed in the service done, and didn't even get to finish it because of how it was going. The lady helping me, although super sweet, she was not doing a great job, cut my cuticles and they burned and left a mark, and was taking forever. 2 hours and 30 minutes for a pedicure? Insane. Stopped the service at the 1 hour and 15 mark. Additionally the receptionist was speaking very loudly and profane on the phone, apparently with an ex partner, which is in my opinion extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional even if there is no other customers but me. The quality of this salon has gone down greatly, again extremely disappointing.

They are very unique designs, very affordable. The environment is cozy and the nail artists are lovely, very easy to strike a conversation. I have had my nails done here many times from different employees and they all do a fabulous job. The nails last a long time, they are very durable and stay looking new. The jewels have never popped off. So all in all, if you are in the valley or live in the valley get your nails done at Gg's, you most definitely won't regret it.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE I went to this salon twice. The…read morefirst time, I got a full set. I had called to see if they would take a walk in and they said absolutely. I get there, and there was 4 ladies working and only me. The nail tech was talking to her coworkers and watching a horror movie on the tv ignoring me completely. I didn't expect a whole conversation with her- but as she was very distracted, she cut my cuticles and was very harsh with the buffing and filing. I decided to give it a second shot. In November, I was scheduled for a C-section and needed to get my acrylic nails removed. I told the nail tech that I wanted my nails to be natural. I just wanted the acrylic off, nails filed and buffed. Needles to say, I had SO many random cuts in my nail beds. Nail tech (a different one than the first) was very distracted with her coworkers. It seems like this place doesn't care for their clients and sees this more as a place where they get to hangout and watch Netflix all day long. Definitely never going back.
