Although he hasn't actually done any work yet, he spent a significant amount of time on the phone with me, explaining things, and that counts for so much....thank you! I would highly recommend atleast talking to G & O Waterproofing before you make a final decision as to who you are going to use. My first impression is they are a A+ / 5 star company and honest. Thank you Alex for your time today.

As a homeowner I was overwhelmed with the process of finding a professional and…read moretrustworthy waterproofer as I was struggling with a leaky 600 sq ft deck that was literally a sieve into the bedrooms below. Living by the beach made us susceptible to overbidding subcontractors trying to take advantage of the unassuming and desperate homeowner. Omar came over and gave me a FAIR bid not knowing what he would find underneath my 40 year old deck. He found layer upon layer of cement and materials that needed to be demolished. The deck was on my 3rd floor and the crew had to enter my home to get to the location. They were respectful, professional, timely and communicative. They advised me on what to do both before and after their job and is still available via text or phone. If you have ANY leaks and are in need of a waterproofer - CALL OMAR at G & O. You will no longer stay up in the middle of night worrying about where your leaks are coming from because your house will be sealed! This was my first interaction with a waterproofing expert that could own that title. Leaking deck? CALL OMAR.

Salvador was amazing! He's friendly and did a great job. The roof was leaking and he helped fix it…read more He knows what he's talking about just by looking at the problem. Then he showed us how the leak was happening. He worked 8 hours on the roof and worked through the rain. His wife helps manage his messages and gets back to people quickly. He even said if there are any problems, just let him know. Glad to choose him to work on our roof.

When we…read moreagreed on a date and time, he either showed up real late, like near dark or the next day to work on the roof. He worked on our roof two or three times, but we were still getting leaks in the same area of our roof. With his last visit, he assured us that we don't have to worry about leaks anymore and to trust him. Guess what? Our roof is STILL leaking after this past Easter weekend storm, Same area that he accused me of being paranoid of. We had enough and did not want him to come back so we hired another roofer to do an inspection. The new roofer found quite a few shocking things: First, the area that Sal worked on, the tiles were not nailed back in which can cause more leaks and also can be dangerous if high winds were to slide these loose tiles off the roof. Many of the nails were found on my roof. Second, the edge of the new underlayment near the ridge (top of the roof) was just placed over the old underlayment above , not placed over the ridge or at a bare minimum, it SHOULD be tucked under the old underlayment above it. So basically, water will just run under the new underlayment! Last, some of the nails that hold the new underlayment were not nailed all the way in which of course can let water in the nail hole. I forgot to mention, he used so much concrete for the ridge cap that the excess poured down the other side of my roof leaving a cement colored trail. Based on all the positive reviews here, I thought I made the right decision hiring him but it looks like we got the short end of the stick. Lesson learned.
