Terrible experience with Empire Sound and Security. I was promised certain discounts when the job was scheduled, but when it came time to pay they suddenly refused to honor what they had originally told me. The workmanship was even worse. They removed interior pieces during the install and put them back together horribly -- trim not clipped in, panels loose, and some parts not properly reinstalled at all. It looked rushed and careless, like they had no respect for the customer's vehicle. A shop that can't stand by their word and can't even put a car's interior back together properly should not be trusted with anyone's vehicle. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else read more

Took them my vehicle to get a new amp put in due to somone else working on it previously shorted the factory one out . Was sold a amp was told it would fix my issue and will be good to go upon leaving there shop i get to the car wash to find melted sauter stuck to my carpets and as I'm vacuuming the mess of sauter my speakers began to smoke and burning out i took it back to them and they simply told me well i should have known i can not turn my own music up in my car that i should have known better . Which i don't see how if im taking it to car stereo experts which i am not which is the reason i paid them he simply offers me 800 dollars in speakers to replace them all after almost spend close to 1,000 on the amp they put in a few days prior after going home and finding the same speaker set up they offered me for 350.00 dollars no integrity on there work. read more

Highly recommend Empire for their audio and tint. They have the best prices in town!!! I just got my car back from the tint shop and WOW! The xpel ceramic looks great and repels the heat! Fast and excellent work! Best of all, they have a completely enclosed garage to prevent dust and debris contaminating the tint. Other shops in the area do it with fans in the shop and I've never had great experience. I never felt forced into a product. They stuck to the price, didn't over charge and did a phenomenal job! I looked up a few places to have a stereo installed and this place had a lot of positive reviews. I decided to go with them based off the positive reviews. Everyone in the store was very nice. I enjoyed talking to them while waiting. They have a TV to watch while you wait. At first, I thought I made a good choice. About a week after having a new radio, speakers, alarm, and backup camera installed, I started having minor issues. Driving down the road my reverse camera would just turn on. I couldn't figure out why, it didn't seem like it was hitting a bump, braking, accelerating, or turning. I tried everything to recreate then issue to explain to them but honestly, it was random. Before I had the chance to go to them, my car flat out died. ( Not their fault ). When my car died, I had it towed to a friends house. He is very good with mechanics. He goes through my car front to back, too to bottom. He found several things that he ( and I ) feel shouldn't have been done. One thing was the power cable from stereo to the battery was ran through my steering linkage. ( see picture ). It wasn't secured down, it was literally just there. The cable for the reverse camera was ran through a hole on the passenger side then down the bottom of the car to the rear. I don't think this would have been much of an issue, but they attached the cable to my suspension. The wire was rubbed raw quickly, possibly causing the issue where the camera just turned on and off randomly. The alarm was so sensitive, a motorcycle passing by 100 yards away would set it off. I asked them to dial it down and it doesn't seem they did that for me. I will say the positive is the tint was done very well. The tint looks amazing. I wish I would have bought that and nothing else. read more

I went into Empire Sound because from what I could tell, both my front speakers were blown. I spoke with the guys at the front, the tech came out to listen to it and suggested that the song I was playing on my Spotify app was corrupted, and to my surprise he was correct! These guys could have made like $600 at least on me replacing those front speakers and instead they gave me honest and helpful advice. I will be going here for all my audio needs moving forward. I brought my wife's car in to have the factory sound system replaced. The gentlemen who run the shop are very professional, they make you feel at ease, and confident that you chose the right place. They have a nice clean shop with many options to upgrade your car audio, alarm, window tint, they can even change your headlights. My friend went to get his radio put in, and he called them ahead of time to let them know he was coming so theyd have the tools & equipment, they said they would have all the tools & be 100% ready. The day rolls around and he takes off early for work to get the radio installed. When he gets there, they say that they do not have a specific harness, and that HE needs to go find one. How is he supposed to know what to get? Why werent they prepared like they said they would be? So after driving around for hours trying to find the harness, he finally finds one (PAYS 140$ FOR IT, something that they SAID they would have...) he gets back to the shop, they install it, and my friend gets back home and realizes his house keys are missing. Keep in mind, that he left work early at 3 pm and did not get home until 8:30/9pm that evening. He lost his house keys, and cant get into his apartment. They were in the console where he left them before getting the installation, and then after the installation they were nowhere to be found. It cost him 100$ to pay a lock smith so he could get into his house for the evening. So monday rolls around, and he goes back to the shop to see if they have his keys. They claim to have never seen them. while hes at the shop, he asks them why the radio wont work for phone calls. They take a look and realize they had wired the radio wrong, and left the button to his lift gate dangling. All of that time/money/ effort/ gas wasted and they didnt even install the radio properly. This place is extremely unprofessional, and will 100% waste your time. Go somewhere else read more

Joey and the team at empire were very helpful and honest about what they sold to me. I went in a couple of months ago for some brighter headlights. They did a great job and picked some out that have worked very well. Their prices were much better than the auto parts stores and the big ....mart. My car radio went out and I went to three different places to price out the cost and installation. They were more helpful than the guys at .....buy and .....toys. They ruined the dashboard on our 2018 4 runner - truck was in mint condition with less than nine thousand miles on it. We purchased the truck brand new, I bought a clifford alarm system with remote start. It was installed incorrectly - the Toyota anti theft system would sound the car's horn every time we used remote start. Additionally they scratched up the dashboard and the bezel for the speedometer cluster. They tried to paint the dash in spots to cover the damage. They failed to reattach interior kick panels on the drivers side floorboard, and dremeled the mount for the speaker grille, marred the plastic on the steering wheel cover because they did not use the screws to remove the bezel properly. They didn't install the shock sensor or the siren that comes with the alarm. They did not install the bass cancelling crossover I provided for the dash speakers and they kept these items and told me the alarm doesn't come with them. I printed an inventory sheet of the items that are included with this alarm from the manufacturers website and the sales guy told me they threw them in the trash because they did not need to install the items. Repair costs exceed 1000. This was supposed to be a birthday gift for my wife. If you have a nice car I would not trust these guys to perform any kind of installation work. Clearly the reviews posted are purchased reviews because this shop has no skill to perform quality work. This business stays alive because they are some kind of state authorized interlock device installer/ calibration facility. read more

Bought a used truck that had tinted windows minus the driver's side. I called to get a rough estimate on the phone; the gentleman I spoke with gave me a price range from the low end to the high end, which all seemed reasonable. Took my truck up there today to get the window tinted, he took one quick look at the passenger side & said it's plain 35% tint, so that's all you really need on the driver. I told him I appreciated him not trying to upsell me on a tint I didn't need. A local competitor told me on the phone that I needed ceramic tint for $200, without even looking at my truck lol. Today it cost me a bit more than 1/4 of that, and I was in & out in about 40 minutes. This is an honest business that does quality work. read more

Got the rear window re-tinted on my 22 year old car, they explained it would take several hours to steam off the old film so not to damage the rear defroster ... so I dropped it off. They called a few hours later and I was blown away with the perfect job, no gaps or bubbles. BEST price in town too!! read more
