There was absolutely no type of guidance or sense of urgency to help me out to show me the way. They don't know if its my first or 2nd time going I thought they should have a little more ...common sense to ask "is this ur first time here? Or are u good with walking in and looking for what you need". After that first impression I wanted nothing to do there. Didn't even pass the gate I turned right back around and threw the exit door which is a little unfortunate, the reason I came to this specific yard was because they were the only place that had my vechile and I had been waiting for some time for any place to get it. As much as I need those parts I am willing to wait for another yard to get my car and I will take my business there.

Welp, I just confirmed that the inventory at this store is a complete sham. Turns out, they didn't even have the part on hand, despite BOTH the app as well as their store computer showing otherwise. This reminds me of when I was looking for a part at Lowe's, only to discover the aisle location was totally wrong. This suggests their inventory practices are questionable. Needless to say, I will never purchase an item online with AutoZone ever again. I ended up driving to a totally different store on George Dieter just to get LIGHTBULBS! And when I got there, guess what the store manager said, "Hmm...you bought this online? I would never do that again." I plan to take this advice. Sometimes, first impressions are a b*tch. AutoZone is still a good place to get simple parts right quick. But this one gets 1 inept online ordering system out of 5; mainly due to dubious inventory practices.

They had a transmission listed on car-part.com that I needed. I called and spoke to Mike on the phone about the transmission several times over 2 days. Mike assured me that the transmission was in good condition and that it did not have any damage to it. I live in Albuquerque, about 550 miles away and an 8 hour round trip. Upon arriving, Mike presented me with the transmission, saying that it had this "small damage but was fine". This is absolutely not "fine" as the chunk you see missing is supposed to have a mounting boss to bolt to the engine. Also, this part of the housing contains the valve body. Mike refunded my payment but refused to refund their 3% card fee. I was able to file a dispute with my bank to get the charge for their fee back at least. They didn't offer any apologies at all during this.
