The Empire STRIKES out!!!! Never have I received such indifferent service bordering on hostile. I fell for a very smooth sales pitch and ended up with a door so poorly installed that professionals from three building companies were appalled. Less than a week after installation all Empire would offer is a quote to fix the situation that I had just paid $6000 + for. Empire remolded my bathroom and hired an outside contractor who I believe was not licensed. He covered my window in the bathroom and took the ceiling out and empire charged me $800 to replace what their contractor removed. The caulk began to mold shortly after,and separating from the walls. 4 weeks ago the shower door that was improperly placed and installed backwards fell and shattered on me and my child. I reached out to Empire and have gotten nothing but horrible customer service and disrespect. They sent someone out to look over the situation and took pics. I had not heard anything for two weeks, so I reached out and spoke with Megan who was rude and stated that they would replace the shower and that I need to give them time. I explained to her that I would like a refund due to their negligence, I no longer trusted them to do anymore work in my home. She was very rude. A week past I heard nothing again, so I began to reach out for two weeks again nothing. Here we are a month later and after being lied to every day that the owner Melissa would contact me. This morning, she calls me very aggressively, rude, and very poor customer service telling me GET TO THE POINT and that she didn't have time for me hanging up in my face. I could not get a word in.I am now without a refund or shower repair. Would not recommend they are HORRIBLE! Follow up! This scam of a company offered to redo the shower system and I finally agreed in order to be done with this situation. Well...three months after the agreement, I have been ignored and nothing scheduled. Until last week, receiving an email from the BBB with a response from empire stating that they are done with the situation( and that the issue was resolved when no one has responded to me since December)?! No one has contacted me, and I have not been in contact with this company personally outside of emailing their attorney agreeing to have them correct their faulty work back in December( with no response).This owner also lied in her response to BBB stating that I was disrespectful, again not true. She is the one that ignored me for 4 weeks, ignoring my calls, knowing the severity of the situation, disrespecting me ultimately hanging up in my face, to finally making false statements about me (which is slander). At this point Its time obtain an attorney and also let social media do what it does. There is no way that I will not advocate for myself and allow a disrespectful scam of a business (The owner) lie on me and rob me of 11,000$ with no consequence. Be careful who you do business with. The owner of this company is racist, disrespectful, and money hungry, that hired an unlicensed worker to destroy my shower system.This could have all been so simply resolved but I do not accept disrespect and discrimination especially when I paid for a service. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Run away, do not hire this company. We hired them for a bath project. Ended up with the wrong specs, the plumber Jesus who performed the install was on his phone for most of the job talking to his friend about a lot of personal business/women. He left a few times to go to Home Depot. I check in at the beginning and a couple hours in just to see if there was anything I needed to approve to be aware of, he said no. Come toward the end after he brought in the tub it's the incorrect size. Says he can't help, front office says they can't help, Sales rep didn't even have it listed in our contract (any size at all). The caulk lines were not smoothed, the screws on the overflow are not plated so they are completed rusted out (and the "plumber" stripped them on install), whatever gasket he used behind the overflow was off center and so we had water leaking in our basement with every shower. Scratched the ceiling installing the panels, when wrapping the corner it does not meet the wall. Personally would have liked to have double checked the height of where the shower curtain rod was going to be installed, but honestly just goes into the pile of a junky job. I called several times to follow up with someone to see what could be done, owner would not fix the tub because they would be upside down on the job, didn't even offer to fix the caulking. Worst contractor/company we have ever had experience working with. $9000 for garbage work that needs to be redone. Unresponsive, unaccountable, unprofessional. Run away. read more

Empire is a big company, my expectation was definitely high but end up a bit disappointing. I would say it's not worth the price that we pay for. Below are the reasons why... Communication could have been better because after we signed the contract, Empire disappeared. When we called, it went straight to voicemail and we hear no call back either. Almost a month later, Megan called back saying that they have ordered our windows but have not arrived yet and will contact us back about a week. Again they disappeared, for almost two weeks, got a hold of them and finally make the appointment for installation. The day that we signed the contract, they told us it will take only 1 day to finish our windows but and up to being 4 days. The installation people came super late. They say they will be here around 8-9 am but didn't show up til 11 am. After the installation, our walls around our windows doesn't look the same anymore (I wish I can post up pictures on here). We notified the guy that came to talk to us about the warranty. He say he will talk to Megan and will have the installation people come back to fix it but it has been almost a month now, don't hear anything back yet. read more

I purchased my home in 2020, and Empire did a complete tear off and installation of the roof in 2018. This past week, I have a leak in the roof with water in the attic this weak. I came to find out Empire does not honor warranties for new owners. 5 years. Even though original owners received a 10 year labor and 50 shingle warranty. Does it matter who owns the home if you do good work. I don't think so. If you are selling your home, I recommend not using Empire because their won't cover the new owners. I think this is bad business practice and makes me think they do shoddy work. I do not recommend. read more
