My tech, Evan, arrived on-time and got right to work. He only needed to replace the circuit board in the unit. So, I asked him why he was removing the metal bars that anchor it to the ceiling. "Because it wasn't done right when it was installed & it bugs me". He did that, at no charge, because he has pride in his work & the company he works for. Appreciated that so much because how else would I have known? Then Evan took the time to help us program the new remotes, apply lubricant, & look over everything to ensure both of our doors are working properly. Thank you, Apex, for treating us like family.

Excellent garage door repair experience with Apex…read more Upon calling Apex, I was politely greeted by a real-person, not phone prompts, which was a bonus. Melissa provided me a clear plan for a technician to get on-site, and a general estimate based on my information. The technician (Evan) was punctual and professional on the repair of a broken spring, and also added another spring per my request. Back to normal garage door operation following a positive experience with Apex!

Everything was done and fixed by 10:45AM, so it was less than 3 total hours from noticing the problem to having a solution. I can't say enough about how quick and professional they were. Jason was able to diagnose the issues in literally seconds and he kept me aware of the process and I didn't feel in the dark about anything. We called him at about 8 o'clock in the morning and by 11 he was already working on the gate. I won't use any other company for my gates or garage doors he is awesome!!!!!! Thank you, Frank for coming out so quickly and doing such a great job!!!...... additional information since Google won't let me review this company for the second job they've done for me then I will have to add it onto this one..... Frank and George came out to review my 20 foot wide by 13 1/2 foot tall RV garage door on January 29, 2026 , previous bids were unbelievably ridiculous to the tune of $5,000 to $6000 bids!!! one of the companies even tried to charge $1100 to rent a scissor lift when we know it was $300 out the door from Home Depot !! Frank and George bid this job and went above and beyond for Just under $2000 which pretty much tells you that every other company giving us bids, were ridiculously high priced and untrustworthy!! Frank and George completed this job within a few hours and went above and beyond what they initially bid on when they found some warped 2x6 ... they lagged them in nice and snug and Fixed at least one of the problems that was causing the garage door issues. today that garage door opens perfectly smoothly and a whole lot quieter than it did before their service. I will say this again as I said it in the past, when they fixed our gate to the front of the property, this company is as reputable and honest as any I've ever seen. They did a fantastic job. They came out promptly did exactly if not more than what they said they would do and fixed the problem for a phenomenal price. I will refer them to every person I know and I will continue to use them on any project that we have from this point forward ! thank you Frank and George

Tuesday, nothing. Wednesday, I talked to 3 more people. Each time I'm told someone is on the way. The last one of them said I'd approved $600 in repairs. I asked him how I could have done that as no one has yet come over to diagnose the problem. He got huffy & hung up on me. Minutes later a woman called, said there'd been a mistake. Someone is coming "right now" to help you. Later, another call from her, no one can come until Thursday. On Thursday morning I get a call at 8:45 am from a guy saying he will be leaving a job soon & he is an hour away. 4 hours later I decide to give up on Olympus since they seem to be little more than a dispatch service & I'm tired of waiting. Based on what I told another company I called, it was likely the circuit board that had failed. Most manufacturers only warranty the board for 1 year. I was given an appt for early Friday & reassured the techs carry the boards on their truck so I wouldn't have to wait any longer. Then, another call from Olympus. This man says he's 1/2 hour away. When he arrived, I explain the issue AGAIN. Told him I think it's the circuit board. This garage door "expert" looks me in the eye & lies. Says a circuit board cannot be replaced "no one does that". Then he lies again & says I need a new opener. It normally costs $1,200, but since I'm a "repeat customer", he'll do it for $600, LOL! The tech from Apex not only replaced the circuit board, he removed and replaced the stabilizing bars for the opener (for free) because "it's like he didn't know what he was doing" when it was installed. It's important to have a door that operates safely. Olympus wasted my time, my money, compromised our safety & lied to me.
