I really liked that the fusion dishes were well balanced and that they truly felt like a fusion between two types of food instead of a discordant combination of flavors. The restaurant is deceptively small, but there's plenty of seating in the back room. The servers were friendly and did their best to serve us as soon as possible. If you can find parking, I'd highly recommend trying out Kuma!

Under the previous owners, the food, service, and overall experience were consistently excellent. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. The first thing I noticed was the food safety rating posted on the window, which simply stated "Okay." That immediately raised concerns. The second thing we noticed was how empty the restaurant was on a Saturday. There were only three other couples dining during our visit. This place used to be packed, which was never a good sign to see. After being seated, service was noticeably slow. It took about 15 minutes just to receive our drinks. We ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, Korean Chicken, and Hot Wings. The Pad Thai was overly saucy and lacked the flavor we were accustomed to. The Hot Wings portion was surprisingly small, especially for the price. What ultimately ended our meal, however, was observing an employee eating in the open kitchen area while also handling items behind the counter. Watching this occur while customers' food was being prepared was extremely concerning. Whether intentional or not, it appeared to be a serious food safety issue, and it made us uncomfortable enough to stop eating immediately. At that point, we asked for the check and left disappointed and unsatisfied. It is unfortunate to see a once outstanding restaurant fall so far. The high standards of food quality, customer service, and food safety that made this place successful do not appear to have been maintained after the change in ownership. We won't be returning.

At the end of the event, the food from Asian Kitchen was completely gone while we still had other catered food left over. It was clearly a hit. So much so that one of the attendees ended up ordering catering from here for one of their events and we are also ordering catering from them for another upcoming event. We have been so impressed with the quality that we have made special trips out to Asian Kitchen to eat and we live more than 45min away. It has been fantastic every time.
