Anthony, Anthony, Anthony .... highly experienced in all aspects of automotive sales and purchasing, generously helpful to ensure I understood and got the most out of the pre-purchase and during purchase experience with my lender, and incredibly personable! I had my first car purchase 3 weeks ago and Anthony was amazing with me. He took me to test drive the car multiple times, because I asked to with different family members :-) He explained and shared with me how to vet for my best odds with different lenders, and also shared so much about credit building and financial stuff. He was transparent and genuine each time I called with extra questions or concerns (and I had many!), and I never felt brushed off or the sense of pressure. I've been meaning to write this review for a while but just now getting to it, and am hoping to ensure I do him and the business justice because they are honestly so professional and have phenomenal customer service skills. I will with no doubt remember Anthony when I consider buying another car and recommend him to everyone I know. If you are considering buying a car you've had your eye on here, you will be pleased with the entire process! Thanks again Anthony! E read more

I found Emperor Motors when I was searching a used SUV, namely the 2003-2008 Toyota 4runner. After dealing with a few not so great dealerships, especially a small, used car in San Mateo, I was exhausted. I called Emperor and spoke with Anthony. He was super polite and transparent. We filled out paperwork before I arrived just in case it worked out. I arrived at my appointment in the afternoon and test drove the car. It was great, Anthony was very clear on the imperfections of the car before arriving but mechanically, it was rock solid. It also didn't have the leaky gaskets that I found on other used 4runners. After some negotiations, we we're able to settle on a fair price for my trade in and the car. He worked with my credit to get good financing and I was able to pick up the car the next day. They cleaned it and polished the headlights for me. All I did was sign the final paperwork and drive my new car home. I've bought quite a few used cars and this was by far the most pleasant experience. Anthony was very transparent and really great to work with. I would gladly go back here for my next car purchase. read more

We did not end up buying a car with them, but they are a very good used car dealer, which is obviously very difficult to find. Emperor motors sell used cars that are generally pretty good condition for the asking price, and usually below used car dealer prices. Service is pretty patient, though you do need to schedule an appointment. A bit of an issue with them is that they don't seem to be very keen on doing financing, however they specialize in used luxury cars that go easily over $20k. We would have bought if they handle it better. read more

Thank you, Anthony and other great sales associates for the great services. That was my first time stepped into this dealer on Thanksgiving Eve. Of course I read everything and did some research before I went since I was there late evening. I was surprised an associate opened the door for me and introduced me to Anthony. Anthony who seemed very nice showed me the car and let me test drived it without any rush. He answered all my questions and let me decided if the car fit me. I told him my concerns and he friendly explained to me back his experiences. After driving this car for almost a month, I remembered I owed Anthony and the shop a review. The car works out smoothly and perfectly! Thank you, Emperor Motors. Thank you, Anthony for your honesty! :) read more

This small dealership is amazing. Anthony was extremely helpful during the entire process. He was very honest about what was needed to make it happen. My boyfriend and I went to test drive the car and both feel in love with it. Not only was Anthony educated on the Lexus we bought but he knew about all the other makes and models that had similar engines and was able to educate us! He definitely knows about cars and is patient and great to work with. Best experience my boyfriend or I have ever had. Bill W. Didnt act fast enough on the car that I bought. I had financing available and knew what to ask for document wise. - The only thing he was correct about was the car fax. But I received copies of.. -nmvtis check -dealership license -car fax -full inspection report from 8 days ago. read more

This was the most unexpectedly pleasant car buying experience. Anthony helped from start to finish. He is the opposite of the stereotype sleepy car salesman. Most honest and due diligent professional I could imagine. I bought a Lexus nx200t 2017 still with a year of Lexus warranty and got a deal I couldn't rival anywhere else after months of searching myself. They worked with me a bit on the price but the prices are already very low compared to anywhere else I found. With the shelter/covid, was a little hesitant because I couldn't test drive the car first, but Anthony gave me 1 day to return for any reason and 2 more day return window if any issues were discovered. This made me more comfortable with prepaying for a car I hadn't driven. It's been about a week with the car and I love it, altho with the shelter orders I haven't gotten too much opportunity to drive a lot. But I drove from Fremont to San Francisco where I live and around the neighborhood a few times and it's great so far. Come here, ask for Anthony, he even called to follow up 1 day after purchase to see if everything met my standards, and also shines and polished the car inside and out when I was cane to pick it up, and full tank of premium gas. read more

I would highly recommend that anyone purchase a vehicle from Emperor Motors. I did not purchase a vehicle from here, but appreciate the level of effort from the owner Anthony purchasing a vehicle. I was in search for a 2008-20010 BMW 535i and just missed out as the vehicle I wanted was sold prior to my arrival. Anthony looked for a month to get the mileage and colors I wanted, but he was unable to find one. I considered to purchase other vehicles on the lot and the dealership was very flexible on pricing and willing to negotiate, however I ended up purchasing the 5 series from another dealership as they had exactly what I wanted. Even when looking at vehicles they took me through each of the Carfax's and what to look out for/best options. Anthony urged me to make this purchase at another dealership as informed me their offer was very competitive with what he could do. In addition, he also consulted me on warranty options etc. Thank you very much for all your help Emperor Motors and I wish I was able to contribute to your business. read more

When I first approached the address, I was a little confused and sketched out by the appearance (it wasn't like a traditional dealership), but I decided to test my luck and met with the most generous and honest dealer I have ever met! Anthony had such an amazing impression on me that I decided to be a customer for LIFE! He helped balance my rates so that I would get accepted for a loan and did 110% with his customer service, but he also did it in a way that was personal and really was looking out for my best interest! I really trust him with helping me find a car and getting the best deals for me! I HIGHLY recommend seeing his shop first if you're interested in finding good cars with good quality! THANK YOU ANTHONY!!! read more

Awesome buying experience with Anthony. He is honest, straight forward, and also extremely polite and patient. Last summer I bought an SUV from Emperor Motors. It took probably 1~2 weeks for me to buy from initial contact. He did not rush me, he answered all questions, and even after I bought, he was still accessible to answer some questions and handled a follow-up promptly. read more

This company is absolutely incredible! They worked with me and made buying my first financed car so easy, no pressure and no hassle. They were even nice enough to be patient and continue working with me when my credit union was working at a glacial pace. Both men that worked with me; Anthony and Mike were incredibly polite, sweet, patient and helpful. They take care of their customers as if they are friends and I appreciated that. They are great people to work with and I will for sure be going to them in the future as well as referring friends to them! Emperor Motors is the best! Thanks again guys! I appreciate everything you did for me! read more

AVOID THIS BUSINESS - Hangfai will knowingly give you a broken car all for profit. When you ask him about the car issues he'll dodge your calls and avoid at all cost to reimburse you for any issue. the fuel gauge was broken and the car suddenly died on the highway with my family in it, he said it wasn't his fault and requested I fix it else where. read more

Anthony did a nice job for me on my Audi A4 2011, no pressure tactics whatsoever. He had two really nice and clean Audi's side by side and I picked the lower price one, test drive it with Anthony, and paid cash for it. He sits at his desk and shows you the CarFax and the details on the car and works out the pricing right in front of you. He backed into our agreed price to include tax. I like my purchase a lot and I'm pleased with the price, he was clear on what his margin is and that's cool, this is America, let's all make a little money so we can bless others. Also, he gave me some good advice on my dumb lease situation (never ever lease vehicles, it's an unwise and expensive transportation solution IMHO). I was quite wary at first but this is an established business. I'll come back for another purchase without hesitation. And p.s., from now on I will only pay cash for a good quality used car (see finance guru's Dave Ramsey's advice on this topic). Never buy new. read more

For a smaller local dealership, Emperor Motors is awesome! It was a real pleasure working with Anthony when I purchased my truck. When I took delivery, the truck was clean and I got a few lull tank of gas. Most importantly, I got a top notch shopping experience with Emperor Motors that I would recommend them when someone is in the market for a car. Thanks Anthony! read more

Terrible -beware. They pressure you to buy without investigating, then they lure you to get money to pay and sell to another buyer. Their cars are all from auctions and out of state so they have no idea what is going on with their cars. The only paperwork they have is a carfax. They are sleazy and untrustworthy. It's not worth the small amount of savings in exchange for the poor service, lies and horrible experience. read more

My Dad recently bought a car for me here. Mike helped him out and he said the overall experience was nothing but positive. He doesn't have a yelp account so he wanted me to post a review for him. He said Mike was helpful and answered all of his questions and helped him pick out the best possible car. Thanks again Emperor Motors! read more

Clean, friendly, no games. Emperor Motors is an awesome dealership! Anthony, the manager, was very professional, knowledgeable and polite. And, the paperwork was a breeze. I bought a 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid, and it looked just like the advertised photo and was in great shape overall. They gave me the car fax for free. Actually, all of their used vehicles are in top shape. No clunkers on this lot. At Emperor, the staff are each professional mechanics too. I highly recommend Emperor Motors and I plan to return again next time I need a good reliable used car. read more

This was the best Car buying experience I have ever had. No pushy salesman, no pressure to buy, only a friendly relaxed environment. We love our Infiniti, absolutely LOVE IT. We got the color we wanted, the price was 3,000 less than anything we found in Sacramento, it was a two year newer model, with 20,000 less miles on it. We couldn't Believe it! It was well worth the two hour drive to get such a GREAT DEAL! Anthony is a pleasant young man I expect to go far in life. I would recommend to anyone looking to purchase an auto to check these guys out. Best car at the best price,i can't say enough good things about this company......... Thanks guys read more

Just bought a 2010 Toyota Prius 5 from Mike @ Emperor Motors. Hassle-free and below market purchase price. What else will go right today? Only thing to be aware of is that it is best to have your own financing arranged before coming -- their financing options are not the best. read more

These guys are awesome! After looking around everywhere in the Bay area, I found that Emperor had the best prices and customer service. Very pleasant-car buying experience and I recommend to anyone that wants to feel comfortable with a large purchase and deal with people who have high integrity. read more

Andrew was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Got a used Honda Civic 2004 for a good price and he let me send it to my mechanic ahead of time to diagnose the car before I bought it. Anthony was great. No pressure, nice inventory, good price, and very knowledgable about cars. So good to buy from an automobile enthusiast! Was looking for a very specific vehicle and Emperor Motors showed up on my search. Took a look at the car and test drove it. Wanted to check on another vehicle for sale elsewhere, but Emperor had the best deal, so came back a couple of days later and luckily the car was still available. Didn't have the money on me that evening, so left a deposit and returned the next evening and drove the car home. Excellent experience! Would definitely purchase from Emperor again. -Jack read more

Highly Don't recommend to anyone I purchased a car it seemed fine for the first 3 days then right after I've been having a lot of problems and they say they put in new parts when they really didn't and I had to spend about 1400$ just fixing up my car. read more

Bad service. Was told the car would be washed. The job they did wasn't close to a wash. Basically a wipe down. Not really what id expect from a dealership. It's basically a bunch of guys selling cars from a small office. read more

They will definitely try and get you for your money. DO NOT BUY here, I promise this "Dealership" is a money trap. They take advantage of First time buyers. So if you do choose to go here better know your car stuff side they will play you if you don't. read more

I recently bought an Audi from them. I got the car with a very competitive price. At first, I got really skeptical on the price and decided to go in and check it out. It turned out to be beyond my expectations. The quality of the car exceeded what it should worth. As a safety measure, I purchased the two day cooling period to have the audi performed a full inspection at the audi dealership. Report came out to be flawless, just as the employee, Boris, said. He also gave me honest and reasonable advice on how to maintain the car. I was really satisfied with the experience I had with them and ended up with my dream car at a very cheap price. If any of you are deciding where you should get your dream car at, I would definitely recommend emperor motors without any hesitation. read more

It's kind weird but I had a very similar experience to that of the reviewer Jay M. I too discovered my 2006 Honda Civic on Cars.com and scheduled an appointment to view and test drive the car. I found Anthony and his staff to be very polite, hospitable, professional and I too felt no pressure to buy. They would have done a little once over with the car to make it a little more presentable but with a little miss communication on my part I showed up a bit early and they didn't have the chance. The fact that they would have tells me that they have pride in their cars and business that any other car dealer would. I enjoyed my experience with this dealer and would recommend them with the same confidence I would with any other upstanding car dealer. Happy car hunting. read more

I recently bought a Corolla from Emporer Motors. They had the best price in the area and the car looked great, almost new! I couldn't even find anything to complain about to negotiate a lower price. Everything was extremely clean from under the hood to inside the car. At 100,000 miles you'd think the engine would look somewhat worn, but no, not even one speck of dust! No leaks, no rust, nothing needing to be replaced any time soon. It also smelled like a new car inside. I was pretty amazed. Mike was a super nice guy. He was honest, not pushy or shady like some salesmen; and made the whole process stress free. He even helped me with DMV stuff and ordering my license plate. Thank you so much Mike! I drove away without any worries, and am so happy I came to Emporer Motors. The best car buying experience ever. read more

Basics: This is a small used car dealership that works out of a small business office with a small warehouse in back and parking spaces out front for the cars. I worked with Mike recently to purchase a white 2009 BMW 335i. There was no rush, no pressure, and I left knowing I got a great deal on a good car. read more
