Empanada Noshery has some of the best food in America. Street food. Food that you hold in the hand. Food that you share with others and create different flavors on your own with their amazing sauces. Served takeout. No seating. Before I begin my review and before I even begin this I question yelp. How is it then when I put in the word "empanada" and "North Wales" this restaurant establishment did not come up? What are your algorithms doing that prevent this? Perhaps this is why I never saw it before. Is yelp retarding possible locations through algorithmic distortion? Hmmmmmm? And...did you see my pictures. Let's just say the food tastes absolutely amazing, and it's as flavorful as the saturation of the colors in the photos. How can I say It's a find when it's been there for years? Because not enough people know about it. And if they did, it would be a franchise. But you need to get the recipes. I'm sure you can get all the equipment, but there's a lot of love in these dishes. Time for the review..... I've gone here twice for my office. The first time I got nine the second time I don't know how many I got, but every time these empanadas disappear. They're in the normal pastry shell, or Colombian- in corn called Maza. First, I'll tell you in order what I ordered, a photo is attached: Roasted poblano - delicious with a tasty little hint of poblano pepper Chicken Colombian - the most delicious empanada of them all. A delightful corn pocket with a tasty chicken filling Buffalo chicken - tasty buffalo chicken in a pastry pocket Beef cheesesteak - it's exactly what it says Mixed vegetable Colombian - this is vegetarian and really delicious with the sauces Barbecue pulled pork - extremely tasty, and perfect for the game The coleslaw is exceptional as is the soups. I had the chicken posole, which was absolutely the best I've ever had. The sauces are all great. But always, always, use Valentino, at least a little. So I ordered 23 the second time for the office and they flew off the table. The quote of the day was "I could've eaten the whole box." This family brings a unique pride to North Wales. North Wales has some of the best food of the area. Bagels, baked goods, pizza, and a various list of other places, including ice cream. So glad we found this place! The empanadas are sooo good; my current favorite is the poblano. Just delicious. They also do specials where they'll have a flavor until they run out. If they ever do the Reuben's again I'm going to go and buy them all! Also, you can buy them frozen and heat at home in air fryer or oven. (TBH I cook them a bit longer than recommended, then let them cool off to room temp, and they're fantastic.) We've brought them to football parties etc. There are never any leftovers! A random find on Google In Pennsylvania. A dedicated place for Empanadas was quite interesting. A cute little storefront run by owners Gabe & Lorena who opened this a year back . We ordered food to go be had to try their most popular picks . Their recommendation is 3 per person and it comes with a dipping sauce of your choice . We got 2 of each with 3 different sauces and one extra so we could try . Poblano pepper with cilantro Lime crema Columbian chicken with chipotle mayo Carribean chicken with chimichuri Ranchera was an additional sauce that we picked up Personally the filling for the poblano one as the best as it had good flavor . Carribean was my next best and Colombian was my least favorite. The pastry shell was too dense and the shredded chicken in Columbia's didn't offer any special flavor . It tasted like chicken which didn't appeal to me. Coffee flan/ this was the highlight of our order and the best part of the meal . Coffee forward authentic flan with no eggiy taste . Best empanadas in the Burbs. I love my empanadas and these were authentic and better than even those I had in Miami. Good variety of empanadas made fresh, I really enjoyed the Beef and Colombian in particular. Also good soups, I was given a sample of the ham and beans and it was great so added to the order. It's hard to find empanadas, especially ones that are baked, so I was so excited to see the Empanadas Noshery when driving through North Wales. They are made to order so we ordered and ran an errand and came back. Street parking is easy and readily available. The empanadas are delicious and I love how they are stamped so you know which one is which. I highly recommend the Caribbean ones and the spinach. The Chimichurri sauce is amazing. My wife and I stopped here for lunch after a meeting in North Wales and we're impressed. We had the beef Columbian and Caribbean, poblano, and spinach enchiladas. All were excellent. The spinach was similar to spanakopita and the poblano similar to a chile relleno. My favorite was the Columbian thanks to its corn wrapper. The cilantro dipping sauce was light on the cilantro, but complimented the empanadas well. The marinara sauce was very good but, IMHO, didn't compliment the empanadas as well. It's unfortunate that they don't have indoor seating because the fresher an empanada is, the better. We'll do takeout on our next visit and see how we'll they travel. read more
