My partner wanted to get some doughnuts for her co-workers and said Yum Yum Bake Shop was a great place. I had never been, however, she said they had a great selection of good doughnuts. We ordered a dozen for the co-workers and 8 doughnuts for ourselves! Those 8 were as follows - Coffee Roll Cherry Bomb Glazed Caramel Delight Pumpkin Cinnamon Chocolate Glazed Boston Cream Chocolate Chocolate Glazed They were all good, however a few excelled. My partner fell in love with the Boston Cream...it epitomized the Yum Yum slogan "Donuts are the heart of our business and our hearts go into making them". The chocolate frosting on top caught her attention, but it was the creamy custard filling that put her into a doughnut bliss. Her next favorite was, ironically, the classic, plain Glazed doughnut! I also tasted the fluffy, yeast doughnut with a simple sweet glaze. It was wonderful. Let's take a quick departure from yeast to cake - the Cinnamon Pumpkin and Chocolate-Chocolate Glazed doughnuts. I like pumpkin pie and this doughnut started the fall season for me. The spices - most likely nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves - made this cinnamon-sugar coated doughnut delicious. I'm all about chocolate and the Chocolate-Chocolate Glazed doughnut met all my expectations. Starting with that 'chocolate frosting', combined with the taste and texture of the fluffy but firm cake - it was perfect. The Coffee Roll was somewhat unique in that it had the ideal amount of cinnamon and sugar for a 'coffee roll'. My partner thought it should be 'sweeter', like a sticky bun...no this is different. The hand rolled, sweet dough pastry with its soft texture, honey glaze and a light vanilla icing made it an excellent choice! The Cherry Bomb was really number 3 on my partner's list - she loves cherries and the doughnut was stuffed with a thick, sweet and chunky chopped cherry filling. Let's not forget it was topped with a maraschino cherry which she made sure to eat (with her first bite). I think there may be one or two more doughnuts on the list but I think you're probably done reading my doughy doughnut descriptions for now!! You'll have to stop by the Yum Yum and try a few doughnuts for yourself! It's most certainly worth the trip! read more

I was in the area and decided to buy some donuts for my partner. They asked for 5 donuts - Boston Creme, Powereded, and Glazed. That left 1 for me so I purchased the White Lightning. Mine was filled with creme and topped with vanilla frosting and white sprinkles. It was so rich and sugary that I was overwhelmed by how decadent I felt while eating it. The donuts are large so you can enjoy them for several bites. The shop is very efficient. You do not have to wait at all from the time you place your order until you receive it. read more

As a first timer, the woman at the counter was kind and helpful in explaining to me what a donut was or pointing me to the donut I wanted (I like the no hole powdered sugar donut with white almost buttercream filling NOT vanilla custard filling). Yum Yum Bake Shops had been on my donut hit list ever since I had bookmarked it while working in the Philly suburbs area, but never took the time out to visit until recently when passing by their Colmar, PA location. While it doesn't look like much from the outside, they have an efficient setup for getting people in and out with their donuts. It is grab and go, so there isn't any space for eating on premises. While they only have 3 bays of donuts & sweet treats, both registers have a fairly good view of the selections to choose from. Donuts run $1.60 each, with a slight discount for those wanting to purchase a half or full dozen. The donuts are generous in size and pretty sweet, so not far those seeking something healthy, but perfect for that occasional sweet tooth indulgence. The chocolate glazed donut was moist and flavorful. While I do prefer a donut that is more crunchy than moist, it'd be splitting hairs to deduct for a personal preference, as it was a solid and quality donut experience. I look forward to digging into some of the other donut flavors I selected later, but Yum Yum Bake Shops made a solid first impression, and would return to one of their locations if craving donuts. read more

I have been visiting Yum Yum all of my life and I've been very disappointed the last 3 times. I only get three donuts-Apple spice, jelly and chocolate iced and 6 glazed yumsters. Two out of three times i got sprinkles when I said no sprinkles. Today they got the donuts right but gave me the wrong kind of glazed yumsters. There's that happy feeling right before you eat your Yum yum donuts. Not for me sadly. It seems kind of lame to complain but it's a 20 minute ride both ways just to replace it and it's been every time in June. It's a shame because the guy who helped me was really nice, they always are but I'd take a tad rude if I got the donuts and yumsters I wanted. read more

It's hands-down the best independent donut shop in the area. Better than Dunkin and Krispy Kreme in terms of texture. The donuts are fluffy and soft, and all the flavors are on point. The seasonal donuts and lattes that they offer throughout the year are a plus. My favorite is the classic jelly, generously filled with red jam. My bf's friends tend to get the cream-filled donuts like the Boston Crème and White Lightning. Sugar coma territory, but that's the point. I also want to shout out the glazed and frosted donut options as lighter options without overpowering sweetness. You can't get just one donut from here. I highly recommend it! read more

Warminster Yum Yum is always a fan favorite. Their donuts are the best, I don't even eat any others. They have a huge variety and offer Monster donuts for 4-6 people and Big Kahuna donuts which is the size and weight of a cake for 10-12 people. I have even ordered a cream filled Big Kahuna for my friend's baby reveal. And of course their donut holes called Yumsters. Their breakfast sandwiches are really good as well, they have ready made (which are fresh as they do not last long) with bacon, pork roll, Turkey bacon or sausage, bagels or croissants, egg and cheese. They also make made to order sandwiches from the options above. My personal favorite drink is their hot or iced latte, with or without flavor options. They have hot chocolate, hot tea and iced tea - their iced tea is fresh and very good. They have coffee of course! I'm a donut snob so I am always on the lookout for donuts to try and review. It was my first visit to Yum Yum. I went around noon time. I wasn't sure what the selection would be like since I wasn't visiting in the morning. I was pleasantly surprised with how many fresh donuts were available for selection. I only had to wait a couple minutes in line before being help. The staff were extremely friendly. They have dividers up and stickers posted for Covid precautions. In addition, they only have one way in and out which helps control the traffic movement and congestion of customers. I opted for a chocolate cake donut and some sort of crumb cake donut. I love cake donuts, so I was excited that they have multiple options. The chocolate donut was a bit on the sweeter side, and I would prefer it less sweet. The crumb donut was delicious and had some crumb inside. Although these aren't the best donuts I've had, they were still really tasty and fresh. I would definitely try some of their other donut flavors in the future. read more

I love the storied history of this bake shop. The staff is so kind and accommodating. The inside is tight, just a counter, so keep that in mind. The line moves fast and fresh donuts are being brought out constantly. The donuts are unbelievably delicious. Our favorite so far is the cherry cordial; never had a cherry jelly filled donut before! Yum Yum makes some of the most delicious, fresh donuts I have ever eaten. The creative flavors like the peanut butter cup donut are so fun! This time I picked up two fresh fastnachts - a glazed and a cinnamon since they both looked so good ($1.25 each). It was a good choice to get both since they were so fresh and fluffy. The glazed had the right amount of sweetness for my sweet tooth while the cinnamon was less sugary. The only downside is that Fastnacht day is only once a year! Paired it with a Medium fresh brewed Chocolate Raspberry coffee ($1.89), which smelled so tempting the whole drive home! Hard to beat these great donuts & coffee. read more

I don't bother with the DD donuts which are basically pre-baked supermarket donuts anymore. Duck Donuts seems super overrated to me. The same cake donut with different toppings? Puhlease. If I'm stuffing my face with empty calories, I'm not messing around with either of those. The donuts and baked goods here are the real deal.
