I was stuck for longer than anticipated at a business meeting nearby and left absolutely famished. I saw this Starbucks on my drive home and decided to stop in. I went with a skim, dry cappuccino with stevia and extra foam and a spinach feta wrap. Everything was perfect. I loved that the staff was cool and friendly, there was minimal wait and my coffee was made exactly to my irritating specifications, haha. The wrap was also hot and tasty. Literally disgusting. First off there was a literal hair in my drink. Second off, i ordered a blended drink and it managed to seperate within seconds, now it tastes like spit. When ive gotten this at other locations, they usually put more ice before blending so it's like a frosted drink, but no. straight spit. Fantastic!! The staff made my two very detailed drinks in under 8 minutes from placing the order online. The two drinks (one hot, one cold) were perfectly made. Just the right amount of flavor and ice, I was so excited to try something new. The staff member was quick to get me a venti water when I asked and even asked what size. I couldn't hear and he politely apologized (not his fault) and made it immediately even though they were busy with the BOGO orders. I had a bad experience this week at another Starbucks so I know now which location I'll be coming to frequently. There is plenty of seating with good lighting, or adjustable shades if you prefer less, with power outlets. The music was pleasant and call cafe vibes, but not aggressively loud. The staff and manager (I assume) were working so hard but had a smile on their faces. Every time I come here, the staff is so sweet to my son and me. You can tell a lot of them care about others with how they engage you. There have been a couple of instances where they went above and beyond for me and that kindness never goes unnoticed. Update: just went there today after few hours after writing this review and they remembered my son and me! I pulled up and two of the girls there were so excited to see us! They remembered my son's silly mannerisms like how he used to waive backwards and how he gave them hugs. It meant so much to me that they remembered us and cared about us! read more

Until today, I occasionally frequented this location. Not again, however. The staff is not friendly and they often forget your order. today, 2/4 staff are on their phones while I am waiting for them to remember to make my drink. I reminded them and they made it wrong. I brought back and they fixed and handed me a cup wet with coffee on the outside. It's just a bad experience every time. Here's a tip. I spend EASILY 100$ a week between my husband and I at Starbucks...Maybe have some approachable people at the drive through window where you are face to face with customers. Coming from someone who works in customer service, it was a horrible experience. The girl with the bright green hair was so rude. This location is convenient. As for the efficiency and general atmosphere ... well that is an entirely different story. When you walk into a Starbucks you know what you are going to get. The coffee is not great and it is not awful. So with that as the baseline one has to rely on service and the general feel of each individual location. Here's the skinny: most of the time the crew seems to possess no sense of urgency. Not to worry though, in the background you get to jam out to overly loud dance party USA. (Must be for all the non-paying customers who are allowed to just hang out) This tends to be a busy location and service along with attitude need to change accordingly. The square footage of the current space seems to be less than the older space it occupied before the move further into the 'Ville. Bottom line is I want to like this particular location however with two other, relatively, close Starbucks (right off the 292 parkway and right next to the next Whole Foods) I cannot believe someone has not called this location out to "step up it's game". The few times I spend in there each week may be better spent in another "local" coffee spot. Mediocrity is the new norm. read more

Absolutely the worst coffee/cappuccino I've ever had. Should have taken heed when didn't see cappuccino on the menu. I didn't want the amount of milk of a latte and not a fan of the oily burnt taste of their regular coffee, so I asked for a cappuccino w/almond milk; (forgot they use sweetend almond milk). After removing 3"of the sugared flavoured almond milk froth, there remained 1/8 cup of luke warm very sweet, over milked, very weak espresso coffee (if they even used espresso). Definitely not worth the $4. Never a fan of Starbucks, but was meeting someone who suggested it. I'll pay good money for a small roasters specialty coffee, or pay alot less when settling for not so good coffee at WaWa or Duncan Doughnuts. read more

The crew working Memorial Day was fantastic! Very cordial and efficient. In particular, Jack, who took our order, suggested to my fiancé to get a pump of classic syrup, as opposed to granular sugar in his iced Americano. This is, by far, the Best Starbucks location out of 5 in my area. It is spacious inside! It is a pleasant environment to meet with clients & friends. The parking lot is ample. The coffee is perfect every time I go here. I wish all of their locations could boast of the same things. When I die I hope to go to a Starbucks Heaven- exactly like this Montgomeryville location! If i could give this location 0 stars i would. I keep giving them a chance but this is definitely my last they are ridiculous with drive thru time we are waiting sometimes at least 5 min! I used to work in fastfood and we would always try to get our food out in under 2min but not this location like today i waited 5 min for a tall green tea frapp i usually wouldnt even bother to review but today was ridiculous and I'm livid. Very friendly staff and place is really clean with lots of seating. Have been there twice and both times were great. My second time being there, tried a new drink and I wanted to add some more cream into my drink and they were more than accommodating my request with a smile. They are great! I have been here a handful of times throughout the past year and have thought it was a nice, clean, polite little Starbucks. None the less, my I was quite impressed with my last visit here this past Saturday. I came in here to get a quick smoothie and take a few minutes to relax. I ordered a Strawberry banana smoothie SOY. Thereafter, I proceeded to take a seat and wait for my order, received it, took a few sips and was enjoying my time. A few minutes later the cashier came around realizing it wasn't made soy, offered to remake it and as well was nice enough to offer me a coupon for another drink on the house at a later visit. I thought this was great service given that they realized it was made incorrectly and had the audacity to acknowledge me and make me aware of their mistake. I would visit the old location at least twice a week. The staff there was great! They were friendly and always helpful. Most of the drinks I ordered were made perfect. However, I have had quite a different experience at their new location. I often feel like I am bothering the staff when I place an order (even if it is a simple as straight coffee). Most seldom smile and as mentioned in previous post, they mock customers or other employees. I have had positive visits with a couple employees that still work there from their old location. The rating is for the establishment, not for the coffee. The best part about this Starbucks is that it's huge and has tons of seating. There is a location besides this one closer to where I live, but I drive the extra mile to be able to get a place to sit. This location was redone in the past year and they installed a bunch of outlets which was much needed (there were only 2 prior to the redo). Very convenient for you to set up shop with your laptop and stay a while. The staff is hit or miss - some of the baristas are extreme friendly and go out of their way to be of service, but others are always grumpy and make you feel like you're an inconvenience. Depending on who is working the staff can get EXTREMELY loud and - as Fiona pointed out - it's almost unruly at times. Free wifi is nice. I wish they had outdoor seating. Oh, bring a jacket! A year ago I walked into this Starbucks with my 1 year old. The barista and I chatted a bit about my daughter while I was ordering and when I was about to pay she told me that she was going to cover my drink that day. It was such a sweet act of kindness and made my day, which had been a bit stressful a whole lot better. It made a big impression on me because I still remember it a year later! This is one of about 6 Starbucks locations that fall in my work territory, so I often stop here if I'm in the area and need coffee.I don't usually write reviews on corporate chains because I think they have a fairly good system in place for promoting themselves and that they have SOPs and protocols in place that pretty much guarantee that a latte in Des Moines is the same as in Boston or Mililani or [enter city here] without fail. The only thing I can think to comment on here is: -their bathrooms are always clean -the staff are nice -seating can be tricky -the heating system is on the cool side -the music sucks (I'm not a fan of Starbucks playlists, with the exception of their holiday stuff) - drive thru is convenient but can get backed up at times read more

Had the worst customer service experience here. I asked the barista if my drink had the right shots of espresso in it because it was rather pale. Without answering they took my drink back and gave me attitude for having to remake it. The manager demanded I tasted the remake and when I said no she demanded again. This Starbucks is no longer at 738 Bethlehem Pike, the store new home is 776 Bethlehem Pike Montgomeryville PA 18936. I was excited to visit the new location science my previews experience were all positive at the old location. However the evening of Tuesday 11/22/2016 at 9 Pm at the new location was not the case. I arrived at the store at 9 Pm, 1 hour before closing time, after waiting a few minutes to be waited on and getting my cup of joe I turn to the self help station to realized that there was no creamer on the station. I turn around to ask the barista for some cream but he had already gone on the back. I walk up the the door to get his attention, this upset the female on the rear and the person cleaning the tables. At the time I didn't even realized what had happen, so the barista who had initially help me got me the cream, I told him im sorry to trouble him and he replay no problem. So I turn back to the Station to finish fixing my coffee and know there was no withe sugar. So I open the door next to the trash and reash for the sugar, the person who was cleaning the store once again approach me not in a friendly way and ask me what I was looking for, I said some sugar, he said he could have got it for me. I said no need I already have it and I don't understand what the big deal was. At this point the female came out the rear and ask me if I was done with the creamer I reply yes, She than snatched from the table and said next time you don't come on the rear, is for employees only and I was counting money. I reply there won't be a next time, this place is unbelievable, she than reply no your are unbelieveble. So I guess I was to apologized for the store short comings, I don't think so. First of all I did not go on the rear, and second money should be counted behind lock doors not in the open. I feel like every time I go to a Starbucks Im always asking for creamer And refilling the sugar. While I love Starbucks coffee or coffee all together this location no longer on my venue. If me asking for cream and getting my own sugar is a problem, why not try keeping this Items properly stock. This is my local Starbucks and I must give them props because I've been going to this one for years as it was moved recently to a closer place by my work! It is very convenient I will say the parking lot is a war zone and I get scared for my life by all the drivers who ignore stop signs here! Last time I went there, I picked up an online order. I ordered a hot latte, and they made a cold latte. Thy remade a cold latte, and finally got it right the third time. Staff was very nice, I let it go. Tonight I picked up an online order, and it was caffeinated, despite the fact that the label on the cup said "decaf." I haven't drunk caffeine in years. Ok, here it goes. This Starbucks is perched on a portion of 309, just beyond the incredibly fun 5 points intersection making it (due to medians and traffic flow dividers) accessible only when you are traveling southbound on 309 while making it enviably inaccessible when driving north bound (though, you could detour and go to the crowded overstuffed Montgomery Mall location two seconds away or to the 202/welsh road location if you're in need of pick me up but unable to acces this location). The staff does NOT have a high turn over rate, leading to a heightened familiarity and relationship with Baristas. I very rarely have an issue with an order that is placed, even when I do mix it up or if I have a larger order than is usual. The selection of pastries, snacks, Juices and other refreshments is always up to my expectations. VERY rarely are the cases or shelves barren or devoid of goodies. The Baristas are quite helpful, and provide great recommendations based upon your tastes and preferences. They always seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs, their coworkers and their interactions with the patrons! I go out of my way to go to ghis location, daily. read more
